Welcome to the fourth day of this year's Jericho March which corresponds to the fourth annual festival of Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks, Ekatost or 'Pentecost'! I hope you will be blessed by what I have been called to share with you today.

Yesterday we talked about passivity and how it hinders our walk with Elohim (God) but before we move on to today's message I need to say one more thing about that. We must not fall under the mistaken belief that those believers who are deceived by evil spirits must be the most defiled, degenerate, and sinful of Christians/Messianics that can be found. Quite the contrary. They are often the most surrendered of believers spiritually and more advanced than ordinary believers still trying to surrender everything to Yah'shua (Jesus). They strive to obey Yahweh and are willing to pay any cost. They only stumble into passivity unwittingly because of the fact that though they are wholly dedicated or consecrated they still don't know how to cooperate with Yahweh.

Indeed - and this is perhaps the irony of it - those who are less serious about spiritual matters do not face the danger of passivity, because how could anyone sink into activity and eventually into the grip of Satan when, even though they profess to be utterly dedicated and consecrated, he persists in living and cleaving to his own ideas? I can think of a lot of charismatic ministers who are steeped in heresy and who engage in false practices who are anything buty passive. They are so 'active', in fact,that sometimes it looks as though they are aboutr to explode! They are possessed of much nervous energy, like marching up and down the stage when preaching, they often shout loudly and become very emotional. And, of course, they frequently burst out into gibberish and call it 'tongues'. Theirs is a different kind of problem altogether: immaturity. But they are anything but passive! Don't be fooled into thinking, though, that because they are very 'active' that they have their act together. Ignorant people are often passionate. It goes both ways. And here, then, you must learn discernment. Are we not commanded to be "peaceable" (Titus 3:2a, NIV), "gentle" (2b, KJV) and to "be still" in order to know Elohim (God)? (Ps.46:10; 37:7). This is not, of course, to say that we are to be disopassionate - qyite the contrary! But rather, it is to say that we must be possed of the right mixture at the right time and place.

A passive believer may well give ground to evil spirits in other respects because of false anointings or twisted theologies, but certainly not in the matter of being willing to yield to Elohim's (God's) will by delivering a passive ground to the enemy. Only those committed souls who disregard their own interests are open to passivity. And that means the REMNANT. Their will can easily slip into this state since they are most eager to obey all orders.

So, you may ask, why does not Yahweh protect them from passivity? Aren't their motives pure? How can Yahweh permit such faithful seekers of His to be deceived by evil spirits? If you think that Yahweh is obliged to safeguard His own under any circumstances, then you have not understood one very important truth: such brethren do not realise that to enjoy Yahweh's protection he must fulfil His conditions for protection. If he does not, then how can Yahweh forbid the evil spirits of spiritual slumber and torpidity from being active in their lives? Those spiritually anaesthetising spirits have been given legal rights when men sin: Yahweh cannot deny His own Torah (Law) without losing His Throne so He cannot prevent us from making wrong choices. Whether the believer has intentionally or unintentionally surrendered himself to the demons, Yahweh will not hinder those demons from the right to control him. So what is the issue here? The issue here on the part of the tricked believer is his failure to examine his motives for doing what he does. Only pure motives safeguard from deception!

I get many people coming to me in great financial need asking for money which more often than not I do not have, especially not now. But that lack aside, many, alas, come asking for money with impure motives and use the Gospel as a cover. They're scammers whether they are 'Christians' (bad ones, at that) or complete unbelievers. Many have good intentions, no doubt (like wanting to take care of their families in need in times of economic hardship), but if their motives are corrupted, they are in big trouble. How can you tell the difference between good intentions and impure motives? By how they treat you when you don't give them what they want, whether you are able to (but Yahweh has told you not to) or you are unable (because you don't have the resources). But there's another passivity factor to be considered. Watchman Nee pointed out that "honesty is no condition for not being deceived; but knowledge is. Should the believer neglect the teaching of the Bible, failing to keep him from deception, he shall be deceived. How can he expect God (Elohim) to protect him when he is providing the prerequisites for the working of evil spirits?" [1]

So if you choose to ignore the plan truth of the Bible for a denominational tradition's sake or because you don't like a particular doctrine like tithing, accountability, patriarchal marriage, or whatever it may be ... and I recently gave you a list of such 'hot potatos' ... know that you are going to slide into passivity in one or more areas of your spiritual life at some time or another. In fact, I would be very surprised if you don't slide into passivity at some time or another. I certainly have.

If Yahweh has chosen a season to reveal the deeper truth of His Kingdom and you choose to reject them for any of those reasons, you are not only giving demons the right and opportunity to put you to sleep but you are excluding yourself from the Remnant and leaving yourself spiritual unguarded and unprotected when the days of persecution come as we have been discussing in our Book of Revelation course. To be perfectkly frank, I have been shocked because I had, quite wrongly, written off some people as persons who would never come to the Remnant and was confidently expecting those who say they are following in the Way but who were being dishonest with us and with themselves, to remain, when in fact they fell away. No wonder we are commanded not to judge! (Mt.7:1; 6:37). I have been judged, as you have too I don't doubt, and it's a really unpleasant experience because they think they know you but don't. Only Yahweh fully knows us, and perhaps spouses who have lived together a long time and have a transparent relationship. I was once told by a Pentecostal that I suffered from heart failure because I believe and practice a biblical doctrine which he hated and rejected. He had to eat crow when I told him my heart condition was congenital and that I was born with it.

This is what has astonished me in this new year especially: people who have been slowly chugging along taking years to come to simple truths are suddenly accellerating in their learning and acceptance of all truth at an incredible rate. Part of a letter I received from a brother in Australia recently expresses this perfectly. He wrote:

"I found that much of your writing confronted and confounded my Seventh Day Adventist view of things so I put you to one side and moved on. About a year later, still researching the same subject (the Creation Calendar), I found myself looking at your [website treasure] trove again. Same result but with a few ‘umm maybes’. To cut a long story short, I now find that your ideas are neither confronting nor confounding."

But something new is happening now, something quite unbelievable. Something new happened to me just this morning and I awoke a different person after a 3 hour-long dream. Part of me that had been asleep awakened. The astonishing thing is this: when an anointing comes - and it has (at least as an early deposit - an early Shavu'ot pre-anointing) - people change really FAST - I mean, at lighting speed, people you imagined would need years of careful teaching to bring them to the fullness of emet (truth). The earlier planting of seeds, that has at times seemed futile and a waste of time, has not been so. When seeds burst from their casing with the right temperature and moisture. This has been a humbling and a joyful experience to me. So I apologise to those I judged, even if in secret in my heart, and repent for ever doubting that Yahweh is unable to turn around the most stubborn of hearts. He can, and does, do that in His own time. Don't ask me how, or why, because I don't know. I just know He does. I believe the seeds were already there but required the right conditions supplied by the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit).

I have, therefore, not so much a message for you today as a series of observations and self-correctives. Yesterday I spoke about turning doubt and unbelief around; today I am confessing that much of my unbelief and doubt has been turned round and to encourage you to keep on believing no matter what. What you seek may take a very long time but Yahweh has His seasons and this is one of them! We are counting the Omer now to the actual Feast of Shavu'ot in July and I am more excited about that next annual assembly than I have been about any of the others hitherto. Today is the fourth day of the Jericho March. What happened today about 1,450 years ago is all about that and I am here to tell you that Yahweh is oppening minds and hearts as I speak to you and to expect that sudden rush of new converts that we have been waiting for for so many years that Brother Herman prophesied about so long ago (I recently reminded you of this) and also for the perpetual Revivals (until Christ comes) - the true ones (there have been, are, and will be many false ones too) - prophesied by Brother Gabriel to take place in Kenya, the Philippines, Bolivia and Sweden/Finland/Estonia [2]. There are going to be Messianic Israelite, not Protestant, revivals. The Ruach (Spirit) will not fill the old traditional winebottles. And they are already starting in East Africa - gentle stirrings for now but they will rise to a crescendo and stay there. The pre-anointing is here - the advance announcement - because Yahweh always announces things in advance, not merely in words but in Ruach (Spirit) too. And the counterfeits will start diminishing as craziness rises in the lawless churches.

So one of the features of the fourth day of the Jericho March is that it corresponds to the baptism of the Ruach haQodesh at Shavu'ot - in other words, to an anointing. I have been recently meeting and talking to people who have up until now been stubbornly resisting the deeper doctrines of the Kingdom but who are now embracing them whole-heartedly! Circumstances have humbled them enough for them to stop resisting what they know the truth to be. They are embracing Scripural knowledge, the propagation of which as you know, is one of our Five Commissions. If you are resisting still, what will you now do? I say this because the pre-anointing will be withdrawn when we come to Shavu'ot and if you have not responded to it, you likely won't, at least not now, and possibly never. All I ask is that you open your hearts and let the Davar (Word) speak. The shofars (trumpets) are anouncing what is to come...and that is DEFEAT for Satan's people (including deceived Christians who won't repent) and VICTORY for Yahweh's for this season prior to the rise and assumption of power of the Antichrist. It is now time to be separated from everything false and become separated to all that is true, holy, clean and pure. That's what the English word 'holy' properly means - to be separated from the false and separated to the true. That is what qadosh and qodesh mean in Hebrew.

Tomorrow is the fifth day of the Jericho March which corresponds to the fifth annual festival known variously as the Day of Trumpets and Shouting! That will give you something to think about! So let's pray:

"Father Yahweh, we are so grateful for what you are doing and are about to do. If we have sunk into passivity - whether we know it or don't know it - we ask You to wake us up! May the heavenly shofars revive us. Show us Your divine tavnith (pattern) in these Jericho Marches so that we can relate them to the annual festivals and apply them to our lives in this moment of pre-anointing right now. Quicken our spirits so that we can be rightly related to you by the time the Omer count has been completed and we assemble to meet You at Shavu'ot!

"Bring Your people home, Father, let the Ruach (Spirit) move the Gathering of Messianic Israel apace, expose the counterfeits, and give us voice to spread these things far and wide. Bless all our instruments of witness - our hearts, our minds, our spirits, our hands and our feet - bless our bodies for better health, and the website so that many tens of thousands more may find it. Give us the authority to move forward in power. Hinder and restrain the Enemy, we pray, so that what You have ordained may not be prevented, so that what You want spoken may be said, and heard and spread abroad quickly now. Strengthen Your servants struggling under economic hardship, food shortages, relationship crises and persecution. Blast the Enemy away with the fierceness of Your Breath, Your Ruach (Spirit). Raise up more Joshua's, more Elijah Prophets, more teachers, more missionaries, more pastors, more evangelists and finally Your twelve end-time apostles. Turn the hearts of the fathers towards their children, and the hearts of the children towards their fathers - restore families - that the land may not be struck with a curse (Mal.3:6).

"Deliver the nations that You have ordained to be saved and remove those steeped in wickedness that you have ordained not to be. Expose and emove the wicked rulers in high places and restore good rulers for this time. Cause the plans of the war-makers and oppressors to come to nothing; bring their walls tumbling down. Bless the peace-makers in Kigali, Rwanda [3], and all those seeking to be true to Your Davar (Word) in the shattered Body. Lift up our hearts to the Throne Rome for worship and praise, and heal Your people of their illnesses, we pray, in Yah'shua's (Jesus') Name. Amen."
