Existentialism may be said (in the Christian context) to treat salvation as a self-generated decision in favour of authentic existence. In other words, it is the personal experience which is more important than any historical or external events. Whilst salvation leads to very distinctive experiences, the experiences are not the saving event itself, neither are they the same in different people. This page exposes the existentialist approach to Christianity which has spawned many subjective philosophies that have opened the Body of Christ to false New Age and demonic-inspired paths to salvation.
