Introduction to NCCG
Welcome to the Homepage of the New Covenant Church of God (or the B'rit Chadashah Assembly of Yahweh to give its proper Hebrew name). We hope that your exploration of this and other NCCG sites will be a blessing to you and give you some deeper insights as to what our Heavenly Father, Yahweh, is doing in these last times prior to world tribulation and the second coming of Yah'shua (Jesus).
On 27 June 1984 a young man called Lev-Tsiyon haEphraim (in English, "Heart of Zion, the Ephraimite"), a descendant of the Israelite tribe of Ephraim, received an unexpected and unsought for revelation from Yahweh commanding him to begin a small fellowship in his home town in preparation for the restoration and establishment of the Millennial Zion. The little congregation, first established in 1996, was known as the Restoration Christian Fellowship (RCF).
In 1988 he received another revelation commanding him to leave his homeland and relocate to the little Kingdom of Norway where Yahweh could continue His work of restoration. For nine years he toiled in that country, raising several small congregations, and all the while receiving hundreds of revelations, visions and prophecies which would eventually be collated into a book of 470 revelations called the OLIVE BRANCH that would prepare Yahweh's people for the establishment of the first of twelve Zionic communities whose two-fold purpose was to:
- (a) build international cities of refuge that would safely pass through the biblical 7 year tribulation, and
- (b) to restore, through revelation, the system of millennial, patriarchal theocratic government that will be implemented throughout the world when Yahshua haMashiach (Jesus Christ) returns to the earth.
The early RCF and its successor, the Independent Church, were influenced by many false beliefs and traditions that were gradually extirpated over a seven year period (1988-96), in the process undergoing several name changes until Yahweh was satisfied and renamed the community the New Covenant Church of God (B'rit Chadashah Assembly of Yahweh). In 1997 He commanded a small remnant to relocate to Sweden and there establish the first proto-Firstborn Colony called Kadesh-biyqah (the Hebrew for 'Holy City in the Valley') and prepare for international outreach and evangelism. The Olive Branch was also published in 1997 and may be ordered from this site.
NCCG is an evangelical, Hebraic-roots, Bible-believing and -implementing community that cooperates with the work of other evangelical churches, messianic assemblies and ministries. We do not consider ourselves to be the "one and only true church" but believe we have an important mission and calling within the wider Body of Christ. We admit to only one creed, the Apostolic Creed.
Doctrinally we are Proto-Trinitarian, Sabbatarian, Post-Tribulationist, Patriarchal, Prophetic, Sola Scripturan, apostolic, creationist, Messianic, pro-life, millenarian, Torah-observant etc., which you may read about in the many articles on this site.
