Truth Conquers
Every new work of God must expect criticism - both constructive and destructive - and NCCG is no exception. New churches, ministries and groups are often feared because they are small and little known. There is also a legitimate fear of cults though not all are 'cults' simply because people call them that. In this page (and the rest of this site) we try to allay the fears of the genuinely concerned and to point our readers to valid areas of criticism.

"A 'critic' is a man who creates nothing and thereby feels qualified to judge the work of creative men. There is logic in this; he is unbiased -- he hates all creative people equally" (Anon)
"The one making the loudest accusations is often the one most guilty" (A Mennonite)
"Critics and scoffers are a dime a dozen. Ignore them [Proverbs 9:8-7]" (Errol Müller)
"The only person I want removing splinters out of my eyes is someone with a clear vision and a gentle touch" (Anon)
"He that willingly takes from my good name, unwillingly adds to my reward" (Austin)
"Those who repeatedly, loudly and unreasonably call others a name are often, conscious or not, describing themselves" (Scott Lively)
"Judging a person does not define who they are - it defines who you are" (Anon)
