Welcome to the second spring festival of Messianic Israel. Leaven symbolises sin. Unleavened Bread speaks of sanctification. Yahweh told the Hebrews to cleanse all leaven from their homes and eat only unleavened bread, matzah, for seven days, symbolizing a holy or set-apart walk with Him. Yah'shua is the "Bread of Life" without sin. Born in Bethlehem. In Hebrew, Beit-Lechem means 'house of bread'. Just as matzah is striped and pierced, so was the Messiah. This Feast falls on the day Yah'shua (Jesus) was buried. Learn more about this important festival in the articles in this register.
