- 2. This picture is in turn used by Elohim (God) as a drash or allegory of the perfect relationship between our Heavenly Father Yahweh and His former Old Covenant people Israel, and between His Son, Yah'shua the Messiah/Jesus Christ and His now fully Redeemed New Covenant people Israel - Messianic Israel, the saved/regerated, Torah-obedient qodeshim (saints, holy ones, set-apart ones) who fully trust in Him and obey His mitzvot (commandments) - the Messianic Bride or the Bride of Christ.
