Day #7 is always a rather special day in any divine sequence. Not just because the walls of Jericho came tumbling down as the cohenim (priests) blasted away on their shofarim (trumpets) and the marchers let out one almighty shout, but because there is something special - almost mystical - about the number 7, the number of completion and perfection which is what we were talking about yesterday. And interestingly, if you ask people what their favourite single-digit number is, the majority will say 'seven'.

This is not, however, the 7th day of the week but the 6th, because this is the 7th day of the month, and the first sabbath of the month, which is tomorrow (when we'll be assembling for our regular sabbath), is the 8th day of the month. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th sabbaths of this month will fall on the 15th, 22nd and 29th days of the month and do so every month without fail. Indeed, the Battle of Jericho is one the strongest arguments in defence of the Creation Calendar and demolishes the Romanised variants that the whole world and even the Jews and Messianic Jews use. You will notice that Yahweh did not command the Israelites to march on the sabbath day, which is tomorrow, the seventh day of the week, the eighth day of the month. And so this whole exercise disproves the Jewish and Seventh-Day Adventist Saturday 'Sabbath', which is today, when the true one is tomorrow. And indeed the day after Jericho fell, the Israelites rested before resuming their conquest of the Promised Land.

There's something else that's a bit weird this year - maybe coincidental, maybe not - for this is not only the 7th day of the second creation month but it also happens to be the 7th of May too. There have been some spectacular planetary alignments in the night sky these past few days as well. And you'll remember that this year Yom haBikkurim (the Day of Firstfruits) and Easter - Resurrection Day - both fell on the same day too. Now I am very wary of numerology as you know and of putting too much stock into number alignments as this is something occultists are obsessed with. However, we ought to make note just in case Yahweh is trying to tell us something, namely, that there is something a but different going on this year.

I guess the question uppermost in my mind today is this: does today have any bearing on what is going on in the world generally? Today was the day Yahweh Himself - not the Israelite troops - who executed judgment on the defiant pagan city that stood in the way of the conquest and colonisation of the land of Canaan. You could say that Jericho was the literal gate to the Promised Land, commanding a view over the Jordan valley. There was no going round it or ignoring it. To have attempted to do so and to then proceed with the invasion would have left Joshua vulnerable to attack from the rear as he moved westwards. The fort had to be taken, and was, in a way, similar to Pharaoh's army that had to be defeated before the crossing into Sinai a generation before.

The answer to the questions - does the Fall of Jericho have any bearing on the world, the Remnant and us as individuals this year? The answer is, yes, to all three. Yes, the effect of today will be felt by the élites who are still rushing ahead to set up their dictatorship. New satellites are pouring into space every week. The equivalent of a 'Ministry of Truth' has just been set up by the Biden régime in the United States. The European Union wants to completely integrate all the nation states into a single state, making it impossible for future nations to leave as Britain recently did, and wants set up an army immediately. And NATO is waging an aggressive proxy war in the Ukraine. The position the modern Global Strongman or 'Jericho' wishes to hold, dominating the the whole world that includes its current illegal occupation of the Promised Land, and run by a satanic banker dynasty, is being shaken. Theirs is a 'city' being judged and condemned. They will gain full control of both the global 'city' (Jericho/Babylon) and the set-apart land briefly at the end but not just yet. Though their demonic controllers have certain 'legal rights' because of the sinning of the world and the wickedness of the occupants of the Promised Land, Yahweh has overall sovereignty and has decreed outcomes that may not be overturned by anyone however much they sin.

This is, as I have said, the year of Punishment and Vindication - punishment for the élites and disobedient believers, and vindication for the Remnant. It is not the complete end of the élites any more than Canaan wasn the 'end' of the Canaanite presence, as it should have been, because Joshua failed to fully occupied the land and basically just took the hilly countryside, which is how it remained until David came. A mistake was made with the Gibeonites, for example. Thanks to Achan breaking covenant, Israel was defeated at the Battle of Ai until the culprit was executed and the corporate covenant restored. There will still be 'Philistines' on the coastal plain and enemies round about in our day, as it was in Joshua's, because this is not the Second Conquest of Canaan yet. The Final Exodus has barely begun. This is the penultimate action, the dress rehearsal and as such will look more like the original attempt than the final one-to-come, disappointing though I know that is for impatient believers to hear.

Today, therefore, is an important day in our own timeline and what happens in the invisible today will impact the Remnant in this the 9th year of the Last Exodus. And it will not necessarily be because of anything we have done but more because of sovereign executive decisions by our Master. The Remnant is stirring, like a giant arising out of a great sleep from the dust. When the Remnant finally stands up, singing the Song of Moses and of the Lamb (Rev.15:3), it will be a sight to behold. The inhabitants of 'Jericho' already fear because they remember the Red Sea and Jordan episodes of old and know similar things are propjesied again in the last days (Is.4). You may not be aware of it, but the Remnant has already scored a number of victories in 'skirmishes' with modern 'Canaanites'. The end-time Elijah Prophets have already left their calling card whenever the modern Strongman of Jericho has tried to engage, kidnap, harm or destroy them (e.g. 2 Ki.1:10,12,14).

When Israel is faithful and obedient, it cannot be touched. It can be attacked but not harmed and may proceed along its way. Only the metaphorical 'stragglers' get picked off by today's 'Amalekites', those who are careless with the mitzvot (commandments) believing them to be of no consequence because of the lying words of their preachers. Re-read the Book of Revelation if you have forgotten.

My task is done for this year at this time. When I asked Yahweh if there was anything I needed to add to the message given so far, I was simply dismissed like a soldier being told to stand down and 'stand easy', as it were. The messages of the seven days have been passed on to you and it is for you to do with them what you will. So I am going to leave it at that. Jericho's walls are down for you to metaphorically go in and empty it of its treasures for thr work of the Kingdom - reclaim all the Enemy has stolen from you through carelessness or sinning!
