I had a dream this morning which I awoke from around 7.30am on the 11 November 2015 that has an important message for the Messianic Israel remnant. I was viewing the dreams through the eyes of a woman - whether it was myself or not, I am not quite sure. The details surrounding this woman's life were familiar to my own in many ways however so I can relate to her. What I saw was a group of people living and associating around an old period style home. Many of them had an air of aristocracy, there was something 'victorian' about them - having only a sort of appearance of godliness, with good manners and external morality. I mean external morality because what I experienced was far from what I would consider godliness!

I was shown the sin of some of these people - some were gossipers, others were slandering. The woman whose eyes I was seeing through was having an illicit affair with one of the men without the knowledge of the others, and was also caught up in various lusts and seduction. Another man again was engaged in a form of sexual sin around lust, pornography, and masturbation.

As well as these particular things, the greatest sin appeared to be the making and practising of lies by these people, who were trying to portray an image of righteousness while not actually trying to deal with sin or striving to live a repentant life.

In the dream a short time opened up and a call to repentance was given to this group of people - for a short time - just a moment. As the woman in the dream, during that moment I felt the weight of the sins I had committed, I felt broken, and dirty. I felt the weight of betrayal and the weight of the lies. There in my own room I fell on my knees and began to repent, weeping, and asking Yahweh to change my heart and forgive me what I had done. I began to cry out and ask if there was any hope for what we had done (interceding for the sin I had seen), and the Ruach (Spirit) came around me and I was shown two things.

Firstly I saw [a man I know] lying prostrate on the floor of his room, crying and weeping in pain. I saw the image as if I was in the spirit in the same room, sort of hovering before him watching what he was doing. The understanding was given to me - He is living the repentant and broken life that many within the community are not.

Then, I was back in my room in the dream and a second vision appeared before me. I saw a sheet of glass, a mirror, rectangular in shape. On it there was a pyramid of people. At the top was [the same man as before], with two people below him, three people below the two, four people below the three…etc etc…. I could recognise the face of [the man], but I was not allowed to recognise the faces of the others, even though I could see them and they were familiar - some of them were the people I had seen in sin. The people were illuminated as if a light was shining from behind the mirror.

The time for repentance closed, and the mirror was lifted up and smashed off an invisible surface so that the mirror was completely broken apart but remained in a shape which resembled what it was before. As it was smashed, all but two of the people disappeared from their places in the mirror - [the man], and the woman (who I was in the dream), who it was revealed - was standing underneath [the man] to the left as I looked at it - or to [the man's] right hand as he stood. Only these two people remained after the shattering. At this point I realised that my (or the woman's) repentance had been accepted, but the overwhelming realisation came that none of the others had come to a place of repentance before the time had closed.

I awoke and immediately felt the urgency of the dream. I prayed for more insight into what these things meant and I was led to Deuteronomy

"Then I [Moses] pleaded with Yahweh at that time, saying: 'O Yahweh-Elohim, You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your mighty hand, for what elohim (god) is there in heaven or on earth who can do anything like Your works and Your mighty deeds? I pray, let me cross over and see the good land beyond the Jordan, those pleasant mountains, and Lebanon.'

"But Yahweh was angry with me on your account, and would not listen to me. So Yahweh said to me: 'Enough of that! Speak no more to Me of this matter. Go up to the top of Pisgah, and lift your eyes toward the west, the north, the south, and the east; behold it with your eyes, for you shall not cross over this Jordan. But command Joshua, and encourage him and strengthen him; for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which you will see'" (Dt.3:23-28).

I know there is a wealth of understanding to be gained from this dream, but there are two principal messages that need to be heeded here.

Firstly there are some people within the Messianic Israel remnant who are engaged in various sins and are not engaged in an active life of daily repentance. A time is opening up where we will be given a specific opportunity to repent, to have our spirits and hearts rendered, to be truly sorry for our sin, to be convicted and come fully to the knowledge of what it means to be flesh.

To those who refuse there is a warning here: a shattering is about to come, only those who have found a home in their prayer closest, found a place in their weakness, a place of pain, lament and brokenness are going to be salvaged. The warning to these people is the same that Yah'shua (Jesus) gave to the Assembly at Ephesus in Revelation 2, like the people in my dream they have a good exterior, they do good things BUT have gone after various lusts and fallen into various sins and thus have left their first love:

"I know your works, your labour, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have laboured for My name's sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place - unless you repent" (Rev 2:2-4).

The second message has various layers, the first layer is personal - I relate a lot to the woman in the dream having been involved in illicit (non-covenantal and rebellious) relationships when I was younger while trying to maintain an outer godly appearance. I did go through a period of repentance for those things and I continue to maintain a lifestyle of repentance - thankfully through the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) who continues to humble, break, and convict me on a daily basis. But I know the fuller meaning is a lot more than just a personal meaning. I am also sure that [the man] will relate to how he was represented in the dream.

However this is not just a personal message. We both were shown to represent two of something. Two people from two generations, both with a part to play in Yahweh's plan for the Second Exodus. The dream is a call for the older generation to raise up the younger - in commandment, encouragement, and strength. The dream shows specifically WHO these two generations are - because it isn't just about any church leader training just any young person. Neither is it entirely about individuals, although individuals will all play their specific rôle (and I myself must pray over where I saw myself in the dream), I believe the wider meaning is more appropriate - identifying groups/types of people/characters, rather than specific individuals. I believe this is why I did not recognise specific people in the dream except two. The others were types of people living in types of sin.

The Moses' of this day are not the rebellious people leaving their love for various false gods and sin - they are the weakest men, ageing, held up only by the breath of Yahweh, spending much of their days in combinations of physical, emotional and spiritual pain! They are broken and contrite, wrestling to finish the work they have been commissioned to do. To them, they have come to the place where only the Ruach (Spirit) is the soothing balm for their tired limbs and soul.

The Joshua's of this day are those who have done, seen, and experienced much wrong, but have come to understand the meaning of 'those who are forgiven much, love much'. They are the young women of today who have been caught up in the over sexualised society of today, who have been abused by modern culture and enslaved into serving false elohim (gods). They are the people with 'baggage', the damaged goods that no one wants to help fix. They come to Yah'shua (Jesus) with nothing - not reputation because they have been slandered, but they come with the only thing they have…a box of offerings of tears and repentance representing the death and burial of their own life, poured out upon His feet (see Luke 7:36-50).

It is these two people who Yahweh is going to use in this Exodus - the old and broken Moses', and the young and broken Joshua's.

I believe that right now we need to decide in which place we are going to fall - age is going to determine a lot. For the young - We can either be young, repentant Joshua's who will be brought under the instruction of the weak yet empowered older generation with the aim of one take being anointed to take charge of this task. OR - your light will be removed. For the older - You can either be the older, repentant Moses' who have led up to this point, who will be given great visions of what the Promised Land is like and the charge of training up the Joshua's. OR - your light will be removed.

A shattering is coming, the light of those whose love of Yah'shua (Jesus) is not true will be removed. No longer is He going to perpetuate our deluded lies and deceptions, our visions of self-grandeur and self-love. Regardless of who you are, the older or the younger, there is only one place for us to be right now and that is on our knees!

Simon the Pharisee and the Sinful Woman are a fantastic image of two types of believer (Luke 7), I believe it is worth adding this little insight in at this point.

Yah'shua (Jesus) said that in the last days lawlessness will abound and the love of many will grow cold (Matt.24:12). In Luke 7:47 Yah'shua (Jesus) points out that those who are forgiven little will love little. We are seeing the fulfilment of these two things combined. Lawlessness abounds, and the love of many is growing cold. Why? Because congregations, assemblies, and for lack of a better word - the church - is full of Simon's.

Simon had the typical symptoms of a person who believed they had no sin, comfortably pointing the finger at the supposed lesser person while entertaining the popular figure of that day. He was convinced of his own self-righteousness, and probably convinced of his salvation according to the works of law. However, the Sinful woman knew she was a sinner, and poured herself out to Yah'shua (Jesus) in faith, knowing He was the only one who could redeem her. One of these two was a blind person, the other could see. Both were equally sinners, born into sin, fallen and subject to flesh, but only one was aware of this reality - the scorned, persecuted, and slandered.

It is the woman who loved much because she had been forgiven much. She was forgiven much because she knew there was much to be forgiven and lay it all down. Simon however, was forgiven little because he was blind and did not need the forgiveness. In his actions he showed very little love to Yah'shua (Jesus), but the woman showed much love.

The day is here now where men are blinded to their sin and receive little to no forgiveness. They convert to a false form of Christianity and worship a false image of Yah'shua (Jesus) because it is expedient to their own selfish gain. They do not love anyone but themselves. Behind their appearance of Godliness is many diverse sins. But their lights will be removed.

Unbeknown to these men, the ones they have written off as useless, broken beyond repair, and damaged beyond reason, will be the ones to receive forgiveness, greater love, greater faith, and greater grace.

So if you want to love more, you must pray for your eyes to be open to your own sin and sinful condition, you must lament and weep over your sin and flesh, and you must allow the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) to become your Comforter as we live in this fallen world and fallen state. You must become broken, more broken…and let His forgiveness emanate throughout your life. Then you will love Him more, when you realise that His existence is the breath that keeps us alive every single day.

I do not want to finish this post without once again expressing the warning I saw for those who do not repent. Some in Messianic circles want to count their feast-keeping, pork-abstaining, and commandment-keeping, as a form of righteousness more superior than the righteousness of the repentant lifestyle of a sinner. No amount of external commandment-keeping can save us more than the baptisms of repentance, fire, and suffering. I believe this dream is specific to Messianic Israel, the messianic and Torah-observant believers in Yah'shua. This is where I have a heart for some of the old preachers…Ravenhill, Tozer, Wilkerson…their writings express a profound grief which was the fruit of their salvation. I rarely if ever, have heard these expressions from the rabbis, and messianic teachers and leaders.

I have seen superior teaching styles, superior intellect, superior Hebrew knowledge…I have seen nastiness, brutality, false accusations, pettiness, and various forms of injustice. I have seen WOLVES who claim to be pastors, ENSLAVERS who claim to be servants.

None of this will last. In the whole mountain of people I saw, only two remained after the shattering.
