It has taken me 13 years to untangle the web of lies and confusion that exists both in Judaism and in the Messianic Movement. Having ploughed through Evangelical Christianity for two decades, and before that Mormonism, Anglicanism (my heritage) and a host of other teachings in my search for Yah'shua (Jesus), I really though that I could settle down and live the pure, unadulterated Besorah (Gospel).

I was to be sorely disappointed for not only did I find the Messianic movement rife with heresy and ugly, intolerant spirits, but that Judaism itself absolutely had not transmitted the original Torah-teachings faithfully. In fact, Judaism didn't remotely resemble the faith of Moses at all, apart from the use of some common terminology. The original faith of Moses had mutated into an occultic religion of salvation by works and the worship of a false kabbalistic god that could be traced all the way back to the original Canaanite Baals.

I discovered many earnest Messianics seeking for the emet (truth) and have learned from all of them but many, having Jewish origins, were loathe to part with all the ways of Judaism. From Messianic Jews who were really just Baptists with a Hebrew cosmetic make-over to sound 'Jewish', to radical people- and Christian-hating ultra-Messianic chauvanists who wanted to blame everything on Rome and never anything on their own tainted heritage (or themselevs for that matter), often denying the deity of Messiah and viewing themselves as superior to everyone else, I found ignorance, pride and at times shere devilish nastiness. The more I probed into the Messianic pot pourri, the more I realised how blessed I had been to have met the living Saviour at the beginning fo my walk which so many of these deluded people never had. As of old, the they talked the talk but did not walk the walk.

Two nights ago Yahweh reminded me that in the latter days He would call his avadim or servants by "another name" (Is.65:15) so that they would not be associated with all the rebels and blasphemers of old. I realised, moreover, that not only would Yahweh call His end-time remnant by a different name but that they would be steered in a very different way to the former kingdoms that were destroyed by apostacy.

The table below is a very rough outline of the changing names and covenants of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth that took me many years to piece together and so end the confusion that persists as to where the Kingdom lies today and who is called to actually build it:

Briefly and in the barest outline, we begin with the Patriarchs under the administration of the Melchizedek Priesthood, from Adam down to Joseph, then the Mosaic Covenant under the administration of the Aaronic/Levitical Priesthood down to the time of Solomon's death which lead to a splitting of the Kingdom into two - northern Israel (under Ephraim) that went into rapid apostacy and was taken into captivity and dispersion by Assyria, and southern Judah which retained the kingship and the same Levitical Priesthood even after Babylonian captivity.

By the time of Messiah a pagan Edomite counterfeit under the Pharisees and Sadducees (that evolved into modern Judaism) with false kingship claimants (the Edomite Herods) was established, the Kingdom passing to Messiah Yah'shua (Jesus) and thence to the apostles in the New Covenant of (essentially) Messianic Judah. This Kingdom at length apostacised and the Besorah (Gospel) passed to the 10 Tribes in disperson and evolved into the paganised mix known as Roman Christianity that underwent progressive reformations leading to its purest offshoot, Evangelical Christianity.

In the 20th century people from Judaism began converting to Messiah bringing with them their false traditions along with many true to form modern Messianic (Talmudic) Judaism amongst which were some of the House of Judah. Out of paganised Roman Evangelical Christianity and paganised Messianic Talmudic Judaism are arising the end-time House of Joseph remnant to whom the Kingdom is being given preparatory to the return of King Messiah and the re-establishment of United Messianic Israel in the Millennium.

The confusion - and there is a great deal of that - lies in not knowing the Tribal Head in the end-time and the false claims made by Messianic (Talmudic) Judaism (in spite of claims to have separated from Talmudic tradition) that Judah is still the head of the Kingdom. His headship of the tribes ended when Messiah Yah'shua (Jesus) came for the first time ("until Shiloh comes" - Gen.49:10) whence, as Jeremiah prophesied, the Kingdom of Judah would come to a permanent end depicted as the shattering of a finished clay vessel (Jer.19:13-15) - you can read more about this in The Final Countdown.

Israel, under the headship of the Josephite tribes (that would later come to prominence in their new homes in Britain, America, Germany and elsewhere), though initially in apostacy, would gradually over the centuries receive the Kingdom by first accepting Messiah and then, finally in our time, Torah too, drawing true Messianic Judahites from the counterfeit mixture that is Edomite Messianic (Talmudic) Judaism. This is also portrayed by Jeremiah who describes Northern Israel as a wet clay pot that must be beaten down and reshaped into a new vessel, a symbolic depiction of the transition from lawless Roman Evangelical Protestantism into Josephite Messianic Israelism (Jer.18:1-10).

Judah as an independent Kingdom cannot be reshaped in this manner because it is baked and set in its false traditions of which it will not repent, being unmaleable, a stubbornness and pride we see typically in so many Messianic ministries today. That is why the Israeli Republic in the Middle East is not Biblical Israel restored in any shape or form. Indeed the Body of Messiah has been greatly deceived by the atheistic movement known as 'Zionism'. You can read all about thios deception in my 5-part series, Jacob's Trouble.

My journey through the Messianic Movement has, as I have said, been a long one and an eye-opener at that. That movement has inherited so much falseness from Judaism, of which I make a partial list just by way of illustration:

• 1. It has inherited the wrong Romanised calendar instead of the true Creation Calendar;
• 2. It has inherited the wrong Saturday Sabbath, in the same way that Evangelical Christianity has inherited the wrong 'Sunday Sabbath' or 'Lord's Day' instead of the luni-solar sabbath, and (as we are now learning) the notion that the day starts at sunset instead of sunrise;
• 3. It has inherited the Babylonian practice, still used in Islam, of calculating the beginning of the months using the first crescent (the symbol of Islam) instead of the conjunction, ensuring the festivals are 1-2 days late;
• 4. It has added all kinds of false traditions to the festivals, embellishing them as well as adding man-made festivals nowhere authorised by Yahweh such as Hanukkah;
• 5. It has refused to relinquish the Old Covenant and its ordinance of circumcision in favour of the New Covenant ordinance of baptism but has rather combined the two and created a man-made hybrid covenant which it calls the 'Renewed Covenant';
• 6. It idolatrously gives allegiance to a counterfeit worldly state in the Middle East going by a false name 'Israel' and thus identifies itself with the counterfeit head of the Kingdom, the modern descendants and princes of Esau, and is in consequence divided in its loyalties between the true Heavenly (New) Jerusalem above (Sarah, Israel) and the false one below (Hagar, Babylon, Egypt);
• 7. In many instances, it denies the Elohimhood (Godhood) of Messiah and worships a false Messiah and denies the Personhood of the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit);
• 8. It often reverses headship and gender rôles and denies true divine tavnith (pattern) in, for example, demanding that men wear head-coverings like women, and continues the Roman practice of denying the validity of patriarchal marriage;
• 9. It perpetuates, in many instances, various lies like soul-sleeping, the uniplurality of Elohim and the Roman belief in an all-male Elohimhead (Godhead);

...and the list could go on for pages. In short, we have found almost as many errors in Messianic (Talmudic) Judaism as we have in Roman- derived Christianity with its own propensity for paganism!

Yah'shua (Jesus) does not want a semi-pagan Bride, whether Christian or Messianic, but one that belongs to Him wholly, spotless and pure from the lies of the world. This purification has been going on for centuries and is at its most intense right now, in our day, as believers discover more and more how they have been lied to and deceived by ignorant (and sometimes not-so-ignorant) ministers who either can't be bothered or who don't want to examine the basis of their inherited traditions.

The last generation before Messiah returns, which is coming into the world even as I speak, will inherit a cleansed Kingdom under the headship of Joseph so that it may accomplish the Final Gathering. People like myself are, in a sense, forerunners, preparing the way by clearing out the undergrowth of error. We know that to survive the horror and deception of the last generation of this planet that Yahweh's people must be spotless in order not just to survive but to thrive. Our task is to make sure they are so equipped as to no longer fall into the snares of the Adversary. This is the New Covenant Melchizedek Priesthood in the training and thus the old Aaronic one has to be fully extirpated. If it is not, the Body will remain double-minded and spiritually weak.

My prayer is that I, and others like me, will have the strength to finish this work. The opposition has been ferocious because Satan fears a spotless Bride like nothing else, and wages relentless warfare against her. We are here to birth and nurture that child and see it rise into maturity. In a way we are a lit like latter-day John-the-Baptists in the wilderness of the world and apostate Christianity and Messianism, calling people to make teshuvah (repentance) and to make ready for the return of the Master.
