The Second Chance
Jericho and the Late Passover
Continued from Part 1
On Rosh Chodesh Preparation Day I was bidden by Yahweh to urge you to get prepared for something important. For Rosh Chodesh itself (yesterday) I was bidden by Yahweh to share a vision He showed me last sabbath (three days ago) at which time my message from Him to you was that you each individually need to go to Source - to Yahweh Himself - to receive an anointing for a message that would be delivered to you. Throughout the night of that creation sabbath
I was in open vision for several hours in which Yahweh showed me many things about the Alef (a) and the Taw (t) that concluded in a final vision about the two balls of fire that I shared with you yesterday. Finally, I reminded you that yesterday was the anniversary of the first day on which Joshua (Yehoshua) circled the city of Jericho. Today, obviously, is the second of those seven days.
We have just completed the three spring festivals of Pesach (Passover), Chag haMatzah (Unleavened Bread) and Yom haBikkurim (Firstfruits). Beginning today, and for the next three days, we are starting our weekly recapitulation, today being Yom Rishon - the first day - that corresponds to Pesach, of the first week, making it a double Pesach. But in addition to being in this annual and weekly cycle, we are also in a monthly cycle, this being the second day of the second creation month making it correspond to double Chag haMatzah. Finally, we are observing the second day of the Battle of Jericho which I call the Overcomer's Cycle, which also corresponds to Chag haMatzah.
What do I mean by all of this? I mean that Yahweh operates in multiple cycles on multiple planes of existence including multiple time-frames and on this particular day some very interesting 'conjunctions' are taking place. This is a day of Double Pesachs (meaning, a time of coming to Yah'shua like a Pesach Child) and of Double Chag haMatzahs (meaning, a time of earnestly working to get sin out of our lives) in the midst of the Overcomer's Cycle - we walk or march away from Egypt. We are on a unique countdown that ends on the 7th day of the Battle of Jericho when walls of opposition come tumbling town if we choose to walk in Yahweh's divine tavnith or pattern. And this cycle comes but once a year.
Yesterday - a 'mini-Pesach' - corresponds also to the day in the cycle of a woman when an egg is presented for fertilisation - to be exact, the 14th day in a woman's cycle that corresponds to Aviv 14, the day Yahweh ordains for Pesach. But simultaneously, on another level, today is the 'day after' the 14th day (Pesach) - that is, the 15th day - which is the day ordained by Yahweh to be observed as the first day of Chag haMatzah, itself also a 7-day cycle and itself also a sequence running from Pesach (1st Day) to Sukkot (7th day), with Sukkot itself consisting of 7 more days running from its own Pesach to Sukkot! What is so special about Chag haMatzah in the human cycle? Once presented on the 14th day, an egg must be fertilised within 24 hours for it to remain viable, after which is re-absorbed by the body and disintegrates. In other words, when Yahweh speaks, there is only a small window of opportunity for us to respond in. This 24-hour 'response window' is true on every level of existence, and if we miss it, we must wait until the next 'egg' is produced in a month's time.
What I am trying to say, brethren and sisters, is that we are standing at a very important door of opportunity which will not come our way again for a long time. And the cycle has already begun! Today we either 'fertilise the egg' or we lose the possibility of creating something new. This is the second day that Joshua's army marched around Jericho which, as a sister reminded me the other day, literally means CITY (Yer) OF THE MOON (Cho[d]) (as Jerusalem or Yerushalayim is CITY OF PEACE MULTIPLIED), a city whose conquest was marked by Yahweh to be taken after seven days, the first day of which was a New Moon or Rosh Chodesh. The children marched around that city for seven days and on the seventh day, seven times, which is the number (50) of the Jubilee (7x7 + 1), the time when debts are cancelled and ancestral land is returned to its original owners. It is the day of absolution, of the cancelling of our sin-debt for the whole cosmos, and the final descruction of hell.
Jericho is the City of the (New) Moon, the city of beginnings - the commencement of the conquest of the Promised Land, the commencement of overcoming of which the Book of Revelation says there are seven followed by an eighth which marks the end of our struggle as overcomers, corresponding to Shemini Atseret, the 'Last Great Day that simultaneously marks the beginning of the Millennium - the 7th Millennium. Which brings me to the last meaning of 'Jericho' which is a 'fragrant place'. Those who are in Messiah and who overcome produce great spiritual fragrance (see Vision of the Windmills), perfuming the feet of the Master who was buried but who is also risen! He wishes that we prepare our own fleshy nature for burial so that we can arise with Him in resurrection power through emunah (faith).
Although today is the second day of the current (second) month, it is technically the first day of the month to be numbered. Rosh Chodesh and Rosh Chodesh Preparation Day are not numbered because they represent the Father (Yahweh) and the Son (Yah'shua/Jesus), respectively, who are eternal beings belonging to the Alef (a)-Taw (t). We are fond of numbers as temporal beings but these two days are without number, not being reckoned as days of the week. Nevertheless, we count it as day #2 of the second month because we are temporal and need to count.
Yahweh had wanted to wipe out the first generation of Israel for their idolatry and apostacy but Moses prevailed upon Him to give them a second chance. Though this generation never reformed, the second did, and proved themselves at Jericho. Today is in many ways the Day of the Second Chance. It was in this second month that Solomon commenced the building of the Temple (1 Ki.6:1) which would later be accepted by Yahweh and blessed in a marvelous way at the dedication at Sukkot. It was also at this time that rebuilding of the destroyed Temple at Jerusalem commenced under Ezra. But perhaps the best illustration of this 'second chance' came in the reign of King Hezekiah during his reforms because the cohenim (priests) did not perform the first passover correctly (2 Chr.30:2,13). So these man under Joshua were walking in tavnith (pattern) and were worthy to receive this great testimony from Yahweh of His care for those who walk in His derech (way). Yahweh gave Israel a second chance, just as Yah'shua (Jesus) gave the woman caught in adultery a second chance if she agreed not to sin again (Jn.8:1-12)! This emet (truth) is further revealed by the fact that Yahweh chose to fill Solomon's Temple on this particular day - the second day of the second month? Why this particular day?
Israel did not remain in tavnith (pattern), and progressively descended into apostacy, with the brief exception of a few lights where the second passover was taken advantage of. Yahweh told me yesterday why this second day of the second month is such an important one: the number #2 represents Chag haMatzah, the Month of the Second Chance. How so? Because Yahweh provided for those who were not worthy to partake of the first Pesach in the first month of Aviv to partake of it in the second month - this month (Num.9:1-14). That's right - those who are rejected at the Spring Festivals because of their sin, starting on the 14th day of Aviv, are permitted to partake of the Pesach Meal - the primary Lord's Supper - on the 14th day of this second month. By His grace - His undeserved loving kindness and unmerited favour - Yahweh gives His people a second chance, the spring festivals all over again. So if you messed up the on first month you are given a second opportunity this month after you have been shown an object lesson in emunch (faith) and obedience as demonstrated by the second generation of those who left Egypt when they took the fortified city of Jericho without the loss of a single man and without a single battle wound.
I know of few who do not want to seize the opportunity of a second chance if they make a mess the first time round. Yah'shua's (Jesus') atoning death provides that opportunity but He does not give licence for us to sin limitlessly, trying to exploit His grace. And there are, in any case, huge consequences, even after forgiveness and cleansing in the blood of Messiah. Never assume that you can keep on breaking 25 commandments whose penalty is death as often as you want. When grace is exhausted, justice takes its unstoppable course. This 'Season of the Second Chance' is to remind us that free gifts have their boundaries too.
Now my purpose in sharing this is not to get you enamoured by mystical theology for its own sake - I am by no means trying to titillate your minds, for unless all of this has practical application, it is little more than spiritual onanism. I want you to understand that there is a massive spiritual movement taking place in the invisible realm even as I speak now and that Yah'shua (Jesus) invites us to be 'in' it now. But first you have got to get out of the élite's counterfeit 'Egyptian' with all its bogus exploitation of patriotism. An awareness of these cycles is supposed to activate our lev (heart) by kindling a desire to walk in this derech-tavnith (path-pattern) and experience it!
The enemy started his latest offensive on May Day, a day of more deceptions and lies, with the announcement that Osama Bin-Laden had been killed, the same day that Hitler's death was announced. It was the day the élite's organisation, the Illuminati, was founded in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, by Adam Weishaupt. However, Yahweh's infinitely greater offensive has now begun too and it is up to mankind to choose whether to ride the devil's rollercoaster going to its doom in the form of Pharaoh's army, or to get into Yahweh's Army that takes us, through all these cycles and mini-cycles, through the Red Sea (Yam Suf) and the River Jordan to the Promised Land for our final Sukkot. That is what we have been invited to do since Rosh Chodesh began yesterday!
Yah'shus (Jesus) wants to come in now and clear out the inside mess of your souls. It's not something He can do in a day but the more in line with tavnith you are, the quicker the cleansing will be. Let's join in the Jericho March for the tearing down of strongholds and grab our second chance if we need it!
