"Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!" (James 5:9-10, NKJV).
This is becoming a very 'different' kind of teshuvah season to any other I have experienced before, the more so as time hastens to the month of October.
Two nights ago I was awakened to see a most unfamiliar vision. I saw before me a door - the front door of a house. First the frame caught fire and then, quite quickly, the whole door was ablaze.
As I prayed for an interpretation, all I could get was: 'Judgment lies at the door' - the door of every man and woman's heart. I then thought of the door of every soul's heart that Yah'shua knocks on seeking entrance in (Rev.3:20) and I wondered at what point this gentle pleading would cease in His call to errant mankind to make teshuvah - the picture of a door burning down was a dramatic one to be sure. But why the door frame first? Because this is where the protective blood of the Lamb is applied on the homes and hearts of the redeemed (Ex.12:7).
Are you taking the teshuvah season seriously? Or are you just continuing as normal, hoping that nothing untoward is going to happen? Are you hoping that the world will just basically continue as it is? The world, brethren and sisters, is plunging into the abyss at an ever increasing and alaming rate. Our whole world could suddenly change overnight and you could find yourself in a global dictatorship with most, if not all, your taken-for-granted suddenly removed. It happened in 1917 in Russia, in 1933 in Germany, and in 1949 in China.
Doors open and close and sometimes they burn down. If a home has no front door, what is left to protect that home? What is it the protects your heart, your life? And will you let Yah'shua in?
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Ruach (Spirit) says..." (Rev.3:20-22, NKJV).

In Joel we see the condition before the Day of YHWH. The fields contain vines producing fruit, the people, He is bringing into His Kingdom. It describes this generation we live in as there is very little left that hasn't withered that He can get to grow fruit. Even the harvest is withered that He would be able to bring in. The Fig Tree is barked, His Vine has been laid waste. We see there is only a remnant where the vines should be full. The missing having left their true Love and let it grow cold because Lawlessness abounds... We see this in the days where the Day of YHWH is at hand or prior to it. Leading up to the Desolation Made Desolate at the revealing of the son of perdition/satan.
Joel 1:17 The seed is rotten (the witness of our savior being sown is rotten) under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.
Joel 1:18 How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.
Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
There are however still the faithful though there should be so many more. As we even face much opposition to witness of a truthful savior rather than a lawless one even within the ones professing Him as their savior.
The time is coming where a solemn assembly will be called and a gathering before that terrible day. And there will be repentance in sackcloth by some and of those who must perform the things to which they are called for our Yahushua is true to His word even of His being as the Way, the Truth and the Life. So wonderfully given of that Torah, the remission of sin, in the side of that Living Covenant Himself, cut by the Roman soldier of the giving of the Life of blood and water. The path made sure and in the one we are together with as members of one another in great fellowship as our Covenant is what we have been baptized into by the baptizer Himself where we know that is the circumcision made complete and whole, the Power of the message and where there is Life!
Until the blowing of the trumpet (Joel 2:15) is the sackcloth message and it is for this day, our generation, this time.
