The following prophetic word, first published by NCAY in 1991, was received through David Minor, an associate Pastor from Longview, Washington, on 6 April 1987 in the USA, and was published in the Morning Star (1988-9). It is not a product of NCAY but has been included in the Olive Branch because it confirms other revelations received by NCAY's nevi'im (prophets) over the years. A major Christian purging and revival will come in which all false churches will be destroyed as pertaining to the Kingdom of Elohim (God) [USA, 1987].

1. The Ruach Elohim (Spirit of God) would say to you that the wind of the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) is blowing through the land.

2. The [Christian] Church, however, is incapable of fully recognising this wind.

3. Just as your nation has given names to its hurricanes, so I have put My Name on this wind.

4. This wind shall be named: Dedicated to Yahweh (Holiness unto the Lord).

5. Because of a lack of understanding, some of my people will try to find shelter from the wind, but in so doing they shall miss My work.

6. For this wind has been sent to blow through every church that names My Name.

7. It shall blow through every institution that has been raised in My Name.

8. In those institutions that have substituted their name for Mine, they shall fall by the impact of My wind.

9. Those institutions shall fall like a cardboard shack in a gale.

10. Ministries that have not walked in uprightness before Me shall be broken and fall.

11. For this reason man will be tempted to brand this as a work of Satan, but this is My wind.

12. I cannot tolerate My church in its present form, nor will I tolerate it.

13. Ministries and organisations will shake and fall in the face of this wind and even though some will seek to hide from that wind, they shall not escape.

14. It shall blow against your lives and all that surrounds you will appear to be crumbling, and so it shall, but never forget this is My wind, saith the Lord.

15. With tornado force, it will come and appear to leave devastation, but the Word of the Master comes and says:

16. "Turn your face into the wind and let it blow."

17. For only that which is not of Me shall be devastated.

18. You must see this as necessary.

19. Be not dismayed, for after this My wind shall blow again.

20. Have you not read how My breath blew on the valley of dry bones?

21. So it shall breathe on you.

22. The wind will come in equal force as the first wind.

23. This wind too will have a name -- it shall be called The Kingdom of Elohim.

24. It shall bring My power. The supernatural shall come in that wind.

25. The world will laugh at you because of the devastation of that first wind.

26. But they will laugh no more, for this wind will come with force and power that will produce the miraculous among My people and the fear of Elohim shall fall on the nation.

27. My people will be willing in the day of My power, saith the Master.

28. In My first wind that is upon you now, I will blow out pride, lust, greed, competition and jealosy, and you will feel devastated;

29. But haven't you read: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven"?

30. So out of your poverty of spirit, I will establish My kingdom.

31. Have you not read: "The kingdom of Elohim is in the Ruach haQodesh"?

32. So by My Ruach, My kingdom will be established and made manifest.

33. Know this also, there will be those who shall seek to hide from this present wind and thy wil try to flow with the second wind, but they will again be blown away by it.

34. Only those who have turned their face into the present wind shall be allowed to be propelled by the second wind.

35. You have longed for revival and a return to the miraculous and the supernatural.

36. You and your generation shall see it, but it shall only come by My processes, saith the Master.

37. The church of this nation cannot contain My power in its present form.

38. But as it turns to the wind of the holiness of Elohim, it shall be purged and changed to contain My glory [7].

39. This is judgment that has begun at the house of Elohim, but it is not the end.

40. When the second wind has come and brought in My harvest, then shall the end come.

[7] This is not the much trumpeted 'Toronto blessing' of the 1990's which was, and is, a counterfeit that has misled thousands of Christians into falsely believing that they have been specially 'anointed by the Spirit'. There will be no doubt about the anointing of the Second Wind when it comes because it will bring with it all the New Testament gifts in their completeness, and more. The phenomena exhibited by the 'Toronto blessing' - uncontrollable laughing, collapsing onto the ground, talking in gibberish ('tongues' or false glossolalia), etc., are not biblical.

When people speak of modern 'prophets' they usually have names in mind like Leonard Ravenhill, David Wilkerson or Jonathan Cahn, because they had, or have, large ministries or high public profiles. Most aren't aware of the latter-day 'minor' prophets who receive devarim (words) from Yahweh which are rarely heard of. Such was the case with David Minor, a Pentecostal Youth pastor, 22 years of age when he received this prophecy, whose typewritten account of it was circulated locally, before the Internet was active, and eventually filtered into the hands of people like ourselves.

David Minor came to be described by those who knew him as the 'gentle prophet' because of the healing and restorative nature of his preaching. According to those who came for ministry to him, his prophecies always came to pass, convincing them that both character and giftings were needed to do the will of Elohim (God), with godly character leading at all times. This is most certainly the Messianic Evangelical understanding of what an authentic pastoral New Covenant navi (prophet) should be like. David Minor demonstrated that true love is more accurately measured by sacrifice and through selfless service than by mere sentiment. He treated everyone he met with honour and said that all of Elohim's (God's) children were to be hosted as though they were Yah'shua (Jesus) Himself.

When I first came into contact with this prophecy I knew it was a bona fide revelation of the same spirit as our own. This is one of the few revelations in the Olive Branch not coming from NCAY itself.

The two Winds or Ruachot (Spirits) to be sent by Yahweh to the Body of Christ in the end times - the first one destructive, devastating (v.15) or purifying (described as being like a "tornado" - v.15) and the second one redemptive and anointing but equally powerful - are given in this prophecy, are identified as:

• 1. "Dedicated (set-apart) to Yahweh" (v.4) or "Holiness unto the LORD" in the original revelation. This is a phrase from the King James Version (KJV), still widely used by traditional Holiness Pentecostals of Minor's generation, and is a rendering of the Hebrew Torah expression, Qadosh LaYahweh, found in several places in the Tanakh (Old Testament):

  • (a) where it is inscribed on a gold plate on the mitsnefet or turban of the Cohen Gadol (High Priest), who in the New Covenant is the Master Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ), an office He occupies in eternity (Ex.28:36; 39:30);
  • (b) where it represents Israel (both Old and New Covenant in their respective dispensations or æons) as Yahweh's bikkurim or firstfruits (Jer.2:3); and
  • (c) where it is inscribed on the bells and pots in the Temple and in the homes of sanctified Israelites in the Holy Land (Zech.14:20-21).

  More modern English translations render this phrase as "Holy to the LORD" (NIV, NRSV, ESV, NEB), "Holiness to the LORD" (Berkeley), "Holy to YHWH" (ATOT/Riether), "Dedicated to the LORD" (CEV), "Set Apart as Holy to the LORD" (NLT), "Sacred to the LORD" (RNAB), "Set apart for Adonai" (CJT), "Consecrated to Yahweh" (JB, MATS), "Consecrated to Jehovah" (LB), "Holiness belongs to Jehovah" (NWT), "Kodesh LaHashem" (OJB) and "Setapartness to YHWH" (ISRV);

• 2. "The Kingdom of Elohim (God)" (v.23) which is the supernatural Sukkot or Tabernacles Anointing which will separate out the Remnant from nominal or apostate believers, and depicts the Sovereign Reign of Yahweh in the souls and communities of those who have received Him as Master (Lord), a rulership that will become worldwide during the Millennium.

The First Wind that Yahweh speaks of to Minor is known by Messianic Evangelicals as the Penultimate Judgment or last-but-one Judgment prior to the Final Judgment at the end of the Æon (Age), and specifically that part relating to the Body of Messiah or worldwide community of those calling themselves 'Christian' or 'Messianic', as the Penultimate Judgment is also a judgment of the world as a whole. According to Minor, this Wind had already started in 1987 when his prophecy was received (v.1) in which it has been gradually building to a crescendo to the time of the beginning of the Last Exodus in 2015. "The land" (v.1) is assumed by most interpreters to be referring to the United States of America though I have read one which identifies Great Britain as that land. Either way, and even if the meaning is global, there is no doubt that the churches have been devastated in the United Kingdom and Europe generally, though the judgments seem to have built up in two waves following the First and Second World Wars in the old world. My belief is this revelation refers to the USA specifically but that there is, on another prophetic level, global application, as this is confirmed by our own revelations. As a local pastor-prophet it is natural that Minor would mostly be concerned with his own country.

The judgment is universal against churches, ministries and institutions (v.6-13) as well as individual believers (v.14-15) and requires a response or a choice:

• 1. Turn and face the wind of judgment and be refined/purified (v.16-18) as it will burn out all that is not qadosh (holy, set-apart), in other words, every part of a Christian's or Messianic's life not fully dedicated to Yahweh, and specifically "pride, lust, greed, competition and jealousy" (v.28); or
• 2. Flee, which in effect means ceasing to profess a faith in Christ any longer by either becoming an atheist, joining a judged or rejected 'Christian'/'Messianic' institution, or becoming part of some other religion, which collectively and in practice would be the 'One World Religion' of Anti-Messiah/Antichrist.

Minor's prophecy clearly links Ezekiel 37 to the Penultimate Judgment though as an Evangelical he probably did not view this as a restoration of 'Israel' (most non-Zionist Evangelicals view the 'Church' as the 'replacement' for Israel) unless he was himself a Zionist which is a belief commonly held among Pentecostals, in which case 'Israel' and the 'Church' are viewed as two separate entities. However, the Israeli Republic is nowhere mentioned or hinted at in the Minor prophecy. Instead, we learn of a "Second Wind" equal in force to the First Wind of Judgment (v.22), the Second being known as the "Kingdom of Elohim (God)" (v.23) and this Kingdom, we are informed in Scripture, is not a politically instituted state but originates supernaturally within a man and then spreads outwardly through the life thus impacted being lived out to the full:

"...The Kingdom of Elohim (God) does not come with signs to be observed or with visible display. Now will people say, Look! Here it is! or, See, it is there! For behold the Kingdom of Elohim (God) is within you (in your hearts) and among you (surrounding you)" (Lk.17:20b-21, Amplified Version).

The Kingdom can only arise amongst the "poor in spirit" (vv.29-30, cp. Mt.5:3) and is a function of the power of the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) (vv.31-32) operating in the lives of those whose eyes are fixed on Yah'shua (Jesus), who are fully submitted to Yahweh and His mitzvot (commandments). The failure to comply was why the First Wind was sent originally, since the qodeshim (saints, set-apart ones) were precisely not 'set-apart', 'holy' and 'qadosh', and that because they were Torah-disobedient.

Nearly all the revivals in modern times (particularly since the 1950's) have been through counterfeit spirits and each has birthed one heresy after the other, principally in the Charismatic Movement, an offspin of Pentecostalism. The yearning for revival and a "return of the miraculous" (v.35) can only be realised by the supernatural judgment and purging of the First Wind which is the result of disobedience, followed by the Second Wind or Sukkot Anointing, which Yahweh calls "My processes" (v.36). Revival cannot be generated by psychic forces or 'forced excitement and enthusiasm' which only open the door to demonic spirits. In 1987 the American Church was incapable of containing this power (v.37) but 30+ years later the ground was, and is, prepared. Revival can only come through purging or judgment (v.38a) because believers and their organisations must be "changed" or reshaped as Torah-vessels to contain Yahweh's "glory" (v.38b).

Importantly, the vision concludes thus: "When the Second Wind has come and brought in My harvest, then shall the end come" (v.40). In other words, this is a 'last generation' work so the First Wind may last for a long time, by my estimation, a good 40 years. Those experiencing it will think that the End has come "but it is not the End" (v.39), a reason why false prophets are always early with Second Coming and 'Rapture' predictions. The Second Wind or Sukkot Anointing is released for harvesting souls.
