Month 10:1, Rosh Chodesh, Year:Day 5945:266 AM
2Exodus 8/40
Gregorian Calendar: Saturday 4 December 2021
Rosh Chodesh X
A Word of Encouragement
Second edition, 6 December 2021

    New material on the interpretation of the Vision of the 20 Men appears in this article that is not to be found in the original video presentation broadcast on 4 December 2021. It also incorporates, in an appendix, another vision, on the town of Arvika, Sweden, not shared in the original live assembly.

    Introduction

    Chag sameach Rosh Chodesh kol beit Yisra'el as we begin the tenth month of the sacred calendar of this the Year of Penultimate Judgment and take a brief pause from our series on the Book of Revelation to consider any prophetic words that Yahweh might have for us today.

    Yahweh is Unchangeable and Constant

    With everything in our world changing so fast we need to first of all remind ourselves that Yahweh-Elohim alone is constant upon whom we may safety rely. He does not change. He is "the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning" (James 1:17, KJV). His Son Yah'shua (Jesus), with whom He is completely echad or one, does not change either, for it is written that "Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) is the same yesterday and today and forever" (Heb.13:8, NIV). They do not chop and change as we do, there is nothing They have not anticipated, nothing that either we or the Adversary do takes Them by surprise. When you hear believers say that 'Elohim (God) is in control', that is what we mean. However complex and unfathomable life may sometimes seem to us, it is not so to Elohim (God). He knows, understands, and planned everything out from the beginning.

    The Inevitability of Change

    Change can sometimes be so rapid that it unsettles people, even causes them to panic, because we need certainty in life in order to maintain personal stability. It is the duty of preachers to proclaim the certainly that is in Elohim (God), of parents to create it as best they can in the home for the sake of their little ones and for each other by being true to covenant-love, and of us all to simply trust in the Creator. He doesn't promise us that it will be easy but He does promise us that it will be worth it.

    Wrong Impressions

    The written and spoken Davar Elohim or Word of God, the Scripture, does not change either so we can rely on that too. That's why we have been given it. Be careful of those who attack all forms of written religious record and accuse their writers of using them as a means of control. That may be true of false religions, and certainly even a true record like the Bible can be twisted and used an an instrument of ungodly control by power-hungry, manipulative people, but that does not mean the record itself is guilty. A man can write a love-letter to his woman that is gushing with affection and yet it can be twisted and misquoted to give entirely the wrong impression.

    Judging the Whole and Not Isolated Incidences

    When we judge we are to "judge righteous judgment" (John 7:24, KJV) but if we are not righteous it is better that we do not judge at all because with the same judgment that we judge, we too shall be judged. Therefore judge righteously or not at all. When it comes to people judge them for the sum of their life - their overall character - and not on the basis of the individual mistakes that we all make, for we are all sinners working out out the details of our salvation (Phil.2:12, NKJV). When we judge Scripture are not to judge it because of isolated passages that we do not yet understand because either the context is not properly understood or because the translator has perhaps not done a perfect job, but we are to judge it as a whole, ever seeking to now the heart of Elohim (God), and thereby avoid wrongly judging the character of Elohim (God), to our great cost, of He whose thoughts and ways are far higher than our own, even as it is written):

      "For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
      neither are your ways My ways,"
      declares Yahweh. As the heavens are higher than the earth,
      so are My ways higher than your ways
      and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow
      come down from heaven,
      and do not return to it
      without watering the earth
      and making it bud and flourish,
      so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
      so is My Davar (Word) that goes out from My mouth:
      It will not return to Me empty,
      but will accomplish what I desire
      and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
      You will go out in simcha (joy)
      and be led forth in shalom (peace);
      the mountains and hills
      will burst into song before you,
      and all the trees of the field
      will clap their hands"
      (Isa.55:8-12, NIV).

    This is wisdom. Any other way leads to folly and self-hurt. For it is also written:

      "The desert and the parched land will be glad;
      the wilderness will rejoice and blossom.
      Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom;
      it will rejoice greatly and shout for simcha (joy)"
      (Isa.35:1-2, NIV).

    Taste and See

    There are always desert and parched times in our lives, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter, but Yahweh promises us that there is purposes for these times (some being of our own making and folly and others purposed by Him to bring us to spiritual refinement) because when all's said and done, "the counsel of Yahweh standeth for ever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations" (Ps.33:11, KJV), and we, in all our finiteness, proneness to error and misjudgment, and mortality, are never going to improve upon it. Therefore "the prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it" (Prov.27:12, NIV). Our only safe refuge is in Him:

      "Taste and see that Yahweh is good;
      blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.
      Fear Yahweh, you his qodeshim (saints, set-apart ones),
      for those who fear Him lack nothing.
      The lions may grow weak and hungry,
      but those who seek Yahweh lack no good thing"
      (Ps.34:8-10, NIV).

    So testified the Psalmist.

    Like Lost Sheep

    The Bible is your friend, pointing you to the character of our Heavenly Father, explaining His ways, and showing you the safe ground to stand on in life. Once firmly rooted there, then He may speak to you directly through His Davar (Word), which is His Son, to whom He has given all authority to represent Him since they are one mind and of like character (Mt.28:18). Once you are firmly rooted in Him, then He also speaks by way of personal revelation. Far too many people are like leaves being blown around in the wind because at times they doubt both Scripture and what has been shown them in the past through the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit), giving the Enemy an opportunity to infiltrate our mind and heart with thoughts and feelings that are destructive to self and to others. So we go to the Scriptures to get tuned to His frequency and then we are better able to hear His instructions for our own life. We should keep a record of these times so that when we do wander, which we are prone to do like lost sheep, we can be reminded of who He is and what His promises are. Peter reminds us:

      "He Himself (Yah'shua/Jesus) bore our sins in His body on the tree (cross), so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls" (1 Peter 2:24-25, NIV).

    The Need

    We are in great need, constantly, of oversight, because we do wander from Him and from emet (truth) when we assert our independence. Lone sheep are vulnerable and the predators in this world like to prey on them. That is why the Good Shepherd searches them out and returns them to the flock where they are always safer.

    Many Revelatory Sources

    I try to spend every day in Scriptue to keep tuned to His spiritual wavelength but I also find myself periodically needing to go back the things He said to me personally in the past to remind myself of what He has both said to me personally and to those called to this work. I do that by returning to the Olive Branch, which is a collection of revelations given to this ministry and published for all to read, and to my diaries where I keep a record of many of the personal revelations that are not for the public. Only the other day I felt I needed to return to that early revelation I received in the nine Books of Abraham thus far revealed (3-11 Abraham) which so much encapsulate my spiritual heart and vision for the Millennial society, and found renewed joy. We are blessed to have so many revelatory resources to help us maintain focus and be nourished by.

    Bearing Witness of the Messianic Evangelical Work

    Today I want to bear witness of this work. Usually I am bearing witness of Elohim (God) and His Christ (Ac.4:26; Rev.11:15; 12:10) because they are the most important of all, obviously, but unless you know what your life's work consists of, you can only partially follow Him, and thne only for yourself alone, which is a lonely walk. The sheep needs the flock because the flock is called to work together. We are all a part of a Great Flock but there are also smaller flocks, and we all have a home flock. My home flock is this work and those called to it. Knowing by whom you are called is the main thing, but unless you also know where you are called, you cannot be complete, for we are all called to cooperative service in the Kingdom of our Elohim (God). For us, as Messianic Evangelicals (or New Covenant Christians as we are also called), our specific calling, in the here and now, is to be found in the Olive Branch. Those who are not called to this work do not, understandably, consult the Olive Branch, for theirs is a different (if related) calling, even though I know many from other groups who consult and use it for their personal edification.

    The Original Commissions to This Work Remain in Force

    So I want first of all everybody to know that this work - the calling of myself and others called up to it - is the same as it was when we started back in the 1986/7. Many of our initial assumptions and perceptions may have changed and needed correction (for we bring in many false assumptions and beliefs from our previous religious and non-religious life), many new and wonderful deep truths may have been shown us over the years (which isn't just for our personal consumption but is to be a fellowship meal for those called here), but the original Five Comissions, given to me in a revelation (OB 263) received on 25 June 1990 when I was in the United States, remains unaltered and unalterable. Unfortunately they sometimes gets neglected and even forgotten and we must periodically be reminded of them.

    The Five Commissions

    These five commissions are parts of a unified whole. We can't just pick and choose what personally suits us even if there may be, and have been, emphases on certain of these over the years. We are to:

    • 1. Make talmidim (disciples) for Yah'shua (Jesus) without regard for which church or messianic assembly they may be capped to;
    • 2. Gather the elect or Remnant to this nucleus, the New Covenant Assemblies of Yahweh;
    • 3. Plant the keys of emet (truth) everywhere we can;
    • 4. Lift up a prophetic warning voice 8which we have done of lately); and
    • 5. Commence the gathering, albeit in small trickles initially, of the Ten Tribes of Israel, which is an extension of #2.

    A Tree Deeply Rooted

    Things may not have happened the way we had hoped, or planned, or as fast as we would have liked, but that does not mean the calling has been annulled. For a seed to prosper, it must be planted in well-tilled soil with depth for deep roots, so that it can grow into a strong tree - the tree of this work. That tree has been pruned severely many times because of carelessness, sin, rebellion, or whatever, which is the lot of fallen man wherever he is called, and at times it may have appeared cut down altogether, giving the false impression that it has either been rejected altogether or that we have been given a new direction, a 'new commission'. I am here to tell you right now that neither has happened. This work, with its specific commissions, remains, no matter whether I live or die.

    When All Seems Lost

    The Enemy has opposed it most vigorously by making appeals to the flesh to either change direction or flee, as many have. He has done so, consistently, by all-out assaults on the spirit and enticements to the the flesh which all of us have had to resist or fall away. We have suffered much to bring this to birth. Building a new work, especially an end-times work like this one, takes time - a lot of time. Israel may have come to believe it was rejected as the first generation died off one by one and that it would never leave the Sinai wilderness but it did - eventually - when the time was right. Few have retained that kind of vision and determination to see it through. In the case of Israel, of the hundreds of thousands that left Egypt, only two souls remained true - Joshua and Caleb. Did you suppose it would be any different with us? Rebellion is visible to all but indifference is just as deadly in its results. We have had plenty of both.

    A Reawakening in the Penultimate Judgment

    So what better time could there be for a re-awakening than in this day of Penultimate Judgment? I welcome the test even if I did not do so initially because I have realised that to abandon or slowly die away from one's life calling is worse than a catastrophe, worse than death itself, because to have failed to to carry regrets that cannot be undone. And I refuse fail my Master. So like the day of Ezra, when the Torah was re-opened after years of neglect, it is time to reopen the revelations to this work and to remember what Yahweh has privately spoken to each person called into it. Both of these are extraordinary witnesses.

    VISION OF THE LAKE AND THE 20 MEN

    To that end, I wish now to share a revelation with you that I don't think has ever been made public because now it is time to do so. We have arrived at the time for it to happen. This was a vision seen by a German sister who visited us for a conference in Sweden some 17 years ago, in 2005. The vision was seen on 25 November 2005 in one of our assembly meetings, I believe. In the vision she saw a lake come out of Yah'shua (Jesus) like a pencil-thin beam of light and alight or rest upon about 20 men. This light, from each of them, then converged on me.

    Meaning of the Number 20

    10 is the number of the divine perfection of order, and the 'Holy Order' of Chavurat Bekorot lies at the very core of this work. 20 is the doubling of 10 and represented the concentrated meaning of the number 10. The fact that 20 is 1 short of 21 (20+1=21) is not insignificant because 21 is the threefold of 7, and signified Divine (3) completion as regards spiritual perfection (7), then 20, being 1 short of 21, signifies expectancy, of which there are 7 known examples in Scripture:

    • 1. For 20 years Jacob waited to get possession of his wives and property (Gen.21:38,41);
    • 2. For 20 years Israel waited for a deliverer from Jabin's oppression (Judg.4:3);
    • 3. For 20 years Israel waited for deliverance through Samson (Judg.15:20; 16:32= but his work was never more than begun (Judg.13:25);
    • 4. For 20 years the Ark of the Covenant waited at Kirjah-jearim (1 Sam.7:2);
    • 5. For 20 years was waiting for the completion of the two houses (1 Ki.10; 2 Chron.8:1);
    • 6. For 20 years Jerusalem waited' between its capture and destruction; and
    • 7. For 20 years Jeremiah prophesied concerning it.

    In other words, 20 depicts a long waiting time. Each of the 20 have had to wait while they were perfected in the wilderness, as has the 21st (myself) likewise in the wilderness. But there is a day of convergence, of uniifying and of unity - of echad (oneness).

    Why Yahweh Causes us to Wait

    There is a reason, then, for the long wait. Good things require long, patient waiting. Most will not wait, however, but go off, abandoning their calling, assuming that Yahweh does not require waiting. We have consistenly, and dishearteningly, witnessed abandonment by brother, sisters, husbands and wives over the long years. It is hard but free agency must be allowed to be exercised. Commonly, those called want to do things their way, not Yahweh's, and when their way does not work, they blame Yahweh, or the one called to lead them through the wilderness - the long waiting period.

    My Generation and the One-to-Come

    My generation is that 'Moses generation' awaiting its Joshua successor. We have provided the Davar (Word) and the prophetic guidance - the next generation must go forth and conquer usig that guidance. If it does not - if it tries to lead the people into the 'Promised Land' by some other route, then Yahweh will raise up another generation and there must be more waiting. This danger is always present - it was present in the days of Moses when Yahweh wished to destroy Israel and start again because of outright disobedience and rebellion, but Moses begged they be spared. This did require a long 40 year wait, however, for a proper purging to take place.

    The Reason for an Approximate Number

    Why was the revelator not given an exact number? Why "about 20 men"? Because mine is not the final generation but the waiting generation even though it has by no means been an idle generation. What I have been called to bring about is not the final tally or amount - that must be completed by another. That final number is 24, a doubling of 12, 12 being the number of perfection of Divine government, 24 being the higher (first resurrection) form of the same, namely. heavenly government as pertaining to the Council of Yah's Elohim or the Heavenly Council. As the Olive Branch pertains to the earthly council (represented by the number 12), so the Books of Abraham pertain to the Heavenly Council (represented by the number 24). But woe unto those who attempt to leap over the Olive Branch to favour the Books of Abraham in the same way Christendomchose to leapfrog the Torah in order to exercise the prerogatives Grace. With privilege first comes responsibility and discipline. The Holy Order is not called an 'Order' for nothing.

    Leading to the Number 24

    Moses and David ordered all things connected with the Tabernacle and Temple by direct revelation from Elohim (God) and as a copy of things in the heavens (Heb.8:5; 1 Chron.28:12,19). And the sevenfold phrase in Exodus 40, "as Yahweh commanded Moses", witnesses to the Divine rodering of all. The same relationship exists between the preparatory NCAY (New Ciovenant Assemblies of Yahweh) and the chavurat Bekorot or 'Holy Order'. It was so also with the 24 courses of cohenim (priests) in the earthly temøple - these were ordered according to the "pattern (tavnith) of things in the heavens". There is reason and order in all things commanded by Yahweh but the whole is not surved all at once but only to those who uncomplainingly prove their faithfulness so as to be true servants and not burdens to bear. Thus the 24 heavenly elders of Revelation 4 are the leaders of heavenøy worhsip, as the restored 12 apostles will be here on earth. That is why there must be 12 apostles and no more than 12 apostles on the earth at any one time. These 24 heavenly elders "sing a new song, saying, 'Worthy art Thou to take the book, and to open the seals thereof; for thou wast slain and didst purchase unto Elohim (God), men of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation, and madest them to be unto our Elohim (God) a kingdom and cohenim (priests): and they reign upon the earth" (RV).

    Remaining Where We have Been Called to Wait

    There have been a number of prophetic dreams and visions received by others about me over the years that I don't usually share though you will find two or three on the Christopher C.M.Warren articles website page in the 'Further Links' section. One of these, a prophetic dream seen by a sister in Ireland, also in the month of November but much later, in 2016, noted: "...you remained where you were and were obedient to what you had been called to do...and Yahweh took care of the rest" (A Prophetic Dream About Lev-Tsiyon). Again, the emphasis is on waiting.

    Do What Yahweh Tells You to Do

    Maybe you too have had such revelations and witnesses given to you, and if you have, you need to remind yourself of them, or get on your knees and ask for fresh knowledge, or reconfirmation, of that calling. Our location here in the Swedish wilderness has baffled and frustrated not a few of our people and pressure has frequently been laid on me to relocate. But as the Irish sister testified, confirming what Yahweh has told me again and again, namely, to remain where I am, obedience is more important than anything that we must think is superior to Yahweh's calling. Until we line ourselves up with His calling and will, we shall always be frustrated and find no peace. Do what He has told you to do and don't try to improve on His instructions.

    Find Out What Your Calling Is

    If you don't know what His calling is to you, wait patiently until you receive it, but do so expectantly and not in doubt, and get on with your life in the meantime. There are plenty of other profitable things you can be doing in the meantime. Therefore you should take the counsel of the apostle James who said:

      "Consider it pure simcha (joy), my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your emunah (faith) develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask Elohim (God), who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Master; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does" (James 1:2-8, NIV).

    Remain Where He Has Put You

    This adminition of the apostle underlines a vitally important character trait that all who come to this work must possess: they must be obedient to Yahweh's calling and remain in their place...where Yahweh establishes them. Whether in the midst of a bustling town, or in the wilderness, or in a foreign land, wherever it may be, we must remain where we have been put until instructed otherwise. If we are under the authority of a husband, then we must follow his lead. If we are under the authority of an authentic end-time apostle (and remember, there are no more than 12 on the earth at any one time), then we must collectively follow him. And those seven congregations in Asia Minor that are spoken of in the first three chapters of the Book of Revelations, were most definitely under the authority of the apostle John. They were his spiritual children whom he had birthed through the Besorah (Gospel, Good News), as we spoke about yesterday, as Paul also testified:

      "Even though you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Messiah Yah'shua (Christ Jesus) I became your father through the Besorah (Gospel, Good News)" (1 Cor.4:15, NIV).

    Spiritual parenting

    There are altogether far too many spiritual orphans without a spiritual father and the many such fathers ("ten thousand guardians") they seek out often turn out to either be ravenous wolves or unequal to the task of apostolic fathering. That is one of the purposes of this Penultimate Judgment - to weed out the false shepherds by exposing them and so set free their followers whom they have ensnared. Why do we need such fathers? That ought to be self-explanatory, I hope, because it is for the same reason children need parents. We were designed to be raised and nurtured in a unique way - in families, because Yahweh-Elohim is a Family and we ourselves were created in His image. Our earthly families may be imperfect but we are given them so that they can raise us inb the admonition of Yahweh (Eph.6:4) and point us to the perfect Father above (Yahweh) and secondarily to His apostolic agents on earth (when they can be found).

    The Heavenly Family

    To Those With Itchy Feet and Restless Souls

    Those with itchy feet and restless souls lack the discipline to be effective in carrying this work out. I will say that 99 per cent of those who have come to this work have been so inclined and very few have remained. Part of the reason we are called to pass through the Penultimate Judgment is to ensure that that character trait of constancy, loyalty and committment to all emet (truth), is burned into us otherwise we cannot be used.

    Continuationism vs. Cessationism

    We have always been continuations because we believe in all the original gifts of the Ruach (Spirit) but we have come out strongly against all the false charismata of Pentecostalism and the Charismatic Movement. People have wrongly assumed this was because we were cessationists and didn't believe in these gifts anymore. This is not so. We have simply refused to entertain or execise any gifts that have not come in the correct Divine tavnith or pattern through proper discipleship and have learned to be content with what we have. We do not covet what Yahweh has not yet given to us though we await in hopeful expectation.

    Loyalty and Constancy

    Yahweh gives no more than what we need at any one particular time. Each gift has to be honed and perfected through proper use, and not used for either personal edification or gain, as, for example, false prophets do. I have been strict about these matters, much to the annoyance of many both within our ranks and (especially) outside in the lawless domain of the antinomian Church. Learning patience is perhaps one of the most important disciplines the Remnant must learn, along with long-suffering when under pressure from those who ought to have been loyal, but were not. Loyalty and constancy are the most precious gifts of all because they are so rare. They aren't showy, they don't lead to acclaim or popularity, but they are the foundation of all the other genuine gifts. So "be true", like Paul's protegé, the young minister Titus (2 Cor.7:14).

    Top the Persecutors and the Persecuted

    I had planned to share several visions with you, some new and some older that Ihave not shared, but the Ruach (Spirit) constrained me to talk about this subject today instead (see the Appendix below). That's how it goes. We must be obedient to the instructions we receive. So let me just say this in closing today. It is futile to ignore Yahweh, insane to oppose Him, and there is nothing that can be done about this Penultimate Judgment until it is over. Those intent upon murdering millions will be brought to account, many will be dispatched by yahweh supernaturally. They are already marginalising the 'refuseniks', in some countries worse than others, especially tyhe pastors. They cannot escape and in the end will be forced to confess the truth and acknowledge the justice of their own punishment before the Judgment Bar of Yahweh. The righteous, on the other hand, have nothing whatsoever to fear, those who trust in the Most High and seek to please Him. They are, like the Psalmist, able to say aloud without any shame or embarrassment before the throngs of the mockers and unbelievers:

      "Let every created thing give praise to Yahweh,
      for His issued His command and they came into being.
      He established them forever and forever;
      His order will never be revoked"
      (Ps.148:5-6, NLT)

    Surf Above the Evil and Enjoy the Ride

    So if you have finally made your peace with Yahweh, settle back and enjoy the ride. If I might paraphrase Forrest Gump, 'Life is a combination of divine destiny coupled with the randomness of traveling on a breeze'. Part of the confusion that plagues us is caused by this strange mix of destiny and randomness, because such is the experience of life on this world where the chaos of Satan's temporary kingdom intersects with the precise order of the eternal Kingdom of Yahweh. It's hard teasing them apart sopmetimes. Only those not linked to Yahweh through faith in the Son and living a responsible obedience, can ignore the chaos and ride it like a surfer. But don't get cockey. Remain humble. It's when you're not right with Yahweh, and not confidently resting in Him, that that surf can toss you about, throw you off balance, and engulf you.

    Conclusion

    So, please, do the right thing and enjoy the exhilaration of Yahweh being in control! I keep thinking of what my good friend Chris Sharp, a retired minister with an active interet ministry, said in a sermon: "Let go, and let God". That's about it. That's what I'm doing and will continue to do. And that is my message today. Amen.

    Vision of a Second Flood in Arvika, Sweden

    On 21 October this year I had a vision of my home town of Arvika. It was again partially flooded as it had been in the autumn of 2000. At the time, this was blamed on the 'climate change' scapegoat but the real cause of the bad weather was an occult ritual performed on the roof of the railway station celebrating the new millennium. In the vision I was looking along the road that passes by St.Michael's Lutheran Church and then takes a sharp turn to the left where it runs parallel to the bay where the yacht club has its moorings. The water had broken over the banks of the bay and had covered the road, covering both the grassy verges and concrete pavements. It was only in puddles on the pavement (sidewalk) by the Church but the road was inundated. An unhappy and very sullen group of youths were fooling around in the water, though I would not call their activity 'playful' by any means, for some of them were quite bullyish toward other youth present. I was lifted higher and higher into the air in the vision and was shown rivers and other waterways.

    October and November Troubles

    October and November was a very intense time of visions as I expect at that time of the year because of all the occult activity. Some of these I have shared with you in recent Rosh Chodesh meetings. Throughout I have been aware of the truism voiced in the Book of Job:

      "How frail is humanity! How short is life and how full of trouble" (Job 14:1, NLT).

    Man's Frailty

    That frailty will become more and more apparent as the Penultimate Judgment comes to a climax next spring as the sins of the world bring down the wrath of Yahweh:

      "As mountains fall and crumble and as rocks fall from a cliff, as water wears away the stones and floods wash away the soil, so You destroy people's hope. You always overpower them, and then they pass from the scene. You disfigure them in death and send them away. They never know if their sons grow up in honour or sink into insignificance. They are absorbed in their own pain and grief" (Job 14:18-22, NLT).
