"After these things I saw another malak (angel) coming down from heaven, having great toqef (authority), and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, 'Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.' And I heard another voice from heaven saying, 'Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and Elohim (God) has remembered her iniquities. Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her lev (heart), 'I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.' Therefore her plagues will come in one day -- death and mourning and FAMINE. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is Yahweh-Elohim who judges her'" (Rev 18:1-8, NKJV).

Famine in the Bible is described as two things:

• 1. An extreme shortage of food; and
• 2. Failure to hear and respond to the Word of Yahweh (Amos 8.11)

Famine can be caused by many things including drought (one is threatened in the United Kingdom as I write this), too much rain at the wrong time at harvest time, destructive hailstorms (I was shown one of these in a vision quite recently that will strike here), pests (like locusts), scorching and mildew of crops, war, deliberate weather modifciation (such as by HAARP), inflation (so that people cannot afford to buy food), and so on (Amos 4:7-10; Hag.2:17).

Whether we like it or not, a global famine has begun. And it will likely continue for some years. Prolonged famine can wreck havoc on mental and physical health, causing lethargy to set in, emotions to dull, and mental apathy. All the mind can think about is food (Ex.16:3) causing moral standards to be abandoned in the frenzy to satiate hunger. The dehumanising effects of hunger result in theft, muder and even cannibalism. And once famine sets in, sickness and epidemics are not far behind because of the weakened condition of the hungry (Dt.32:24).

How can we avoid starvation in times of famine? By being faithful to Yahweh who assures such that they will receive their daily bread. Those who put the Kingdom first will be cared for (Mt.6:11,33; cp. Ps.33:19; 27:19,25). It also means using your common sense and heeding the warnings of the prophets to plan ahead by quietly storing food and other essential supplies. Many will not and will wonder why their trusting has not resulted in provision - the point is, trusting also means listening to His promptings to take practical steps in providing for your family.

I am using this opportunity - at this late hour - to once again beg believers, and anyone else willing to listen, to first of all make sure you are hungry for emet (truth) and righteousness and obtain spiritual nourishment (Mt.5:6; Jn.6:35). That's the first step, because if you're not listening to Yahweh, you won't hear Him when He directs you to take physical action. And remember, preparation isn't just about having adequate food supplies but making sure you have a roof over your head by not living beyond your means, getting out of debt immediately and living (if necessary) a simpler lifestyle, converting your paper and electronic savings into silver or gold (which you can trade when the economy crashes) and into things which you can barter.

Voices like mine may soon be gone as the enemy starts censoring the internet (take down my address on the contact page so you can get a copy of this website on CD-ROM) - then you'll need to be able to hear Yahweh for yourself (not a bad thing)! The signs are everywhere for those who will open their eyes and look. You have to be completely ignorant and brainwashed not to see it. The trouble is you need to acknowledge the facts now. It may well already be too late for many but for some they can still be delivered. Repent and get into action right away!
