One of the great blessings of living in our time is being given the keys by Yahweh to meet the enemy's last moves for his final onslaught on planet earth. A wise military strategist reserves his best for the end, keeping an élite reserve with which to secure final victory. One of the reasons the French lost the Battle of France in 1940 was that they had no reserves to meet the final German onslaught. Never commit all to the battlefield at once.

Yah'shua (Jesus) taught this principle in the Miracle at Cana. After He had turned water into wine, the Master of Ceremonies - aware only of what was presented to him, and unaware that a miracle had been performed - said to the Master:

"Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!" (John 2:10-11, NKJV).

The Enemy is, of course, extremely curious about these things, which is why he carefully follows what the remnant is up to, hoping to glean some useful intelligence. As I mentioned yesterday, Satan relies on an extensive spy network combining demons with human agents. He labours under a handicap that Yahweh does not, for Yahweh not only sees everything in the moment it is happening but He saw everything long before He even created the cosmos. Satan doesn't actually stand a chance. However, the remnant need not become too self-confident or cockey for unless believers are fully submitted to Yahweh, they will neither hear nor do what the Master Strategist says and get themselves into deep and dangerous waters. Man's own intellect and will-power will prove a handicap, not an asset, if he isn't listening and doing as he is told.

The inner re-landscaping of our soul by the Heavenly Landscaper is vital to both survival and victory in this sphere. Unsurrendered areas of our soul are simply Satan's springboards to harrassment and deflection from our task. You may believe that spiritual issues are of no consequence, as one lady did who wrote into me recently, but you will pay the consequences of such foolish thinking. This sister says she was a deliverance minister but that every time she ministered, she would herself get violently attacked and would spend days afterwards recovering. When I explained to her that she had spiritual issues that needed addressing before she did any kind of spiritual work like that, her pride was offended and I never heard back from her. The truth may injure your pride but it will save your life if you submit to it.

A soldier with double-vision is no use on the battlefield. A believer who has one eye on Messiah and one eye on the world is going to be a lousy shot when it comes to helping others. He becomes a blind guide (Mt.23:16) and more than likely shoot his own foot into the bargain. There are altogether far too many self-appointed ministers who need to go back to spiritual school to learn Yahweh's ways (especially His Torah) and to spend time in healing and rehabilitation from their own issues. It really doesn't matter whether you believe me personally when I say this - what does matter is that on the battlefield such immature and unprepared believers not only not end up getting hurt but not end up hurting those they seek to help. They're actually a menace to themselves and to others, and just make Satam's task that much easier.

That is why the last generation isn't going to consist of lawless evangelicals or legalistic messianics. It's why the last generation isn't going to be from the established churches and assemblies at all. It has to be a new spiritual generation of messianic evangelicals. We're here to train them.

Though it should be ridiculously obvious to anyone with common sense, the first thing we have to do is to be brutally honest about ourselves. As one commentator has said: "You can't see your issues in technicolour before you've admitted them in black-and-white". Living in denial is living in defeat.

If we are Torah-less, we have to admit we are meeting wall after wall in our spiritual life (because Satan has legal grounds to prevent you because of disobedience) before we can do anything about it. If we are legalists, we have to admit that our spiritual lives have run dry and powerless (once the psychic kick has worn off from our failed use of fleshy methods), and get Yah'shua (Jesus) back in the centre of everything where real power can flow througb us.

So the first thing I want you to do is honestly admit that there are problems and to be willing to deal with them the scriptural way even - and especially - if this contradicts with what you have been taught in your evangelical church or messianic assembly. And to take the next step is going to require some very hard choices that may involve stepping out of the religious traditions you were raised in or to which you currently belong, and stepping into new shoes. For one of the pieces of spiritual armour Paul commands us to put on, you will recall, is a pair of sandals: "[having] your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of shalom (peace)" (Eph.6:15, NIV).

Now if you think the believer is here commanded to wear a pair of soft household slippers you would be sorely mistaken. And if you put on sandals like that, you will be useless in battle. For the "sandals" Paul speaks of here were a Roman soldier's shoes not only made of a mixture of leather and metal for toughness and protection but having dozens extremely dangerous spiked nails that were not only designed to keep the soldier from slipping but to be used as an offensive weapon to kick, wound and trample an opponent to death.

To be an effective soldier for Messiah in this last campaign prior to the defeat and incarceration of the Enemy requires that you are cleansed and trained. You have to be kosher. Your education, your genius, your reputation as a speaker, teacher, leader, writer or winner of people's trust because of psychic charisma are going to be utterly and totally useless. If you are relying on any of these carnal things you're going to be canon fodder on the battlefield that is now being set up, which is why so many ministers and ministries are going to be obliterated by it. I personally don't care how 'good' or 'loud' you are because these are the carnal weapons of Goliath. Without being properly equipped for the fight ahead you're going to be naked and defenseless.

No one was prepared for Hitler's tanks and blitzkrieg strategies in 1940 and 1941. Though they had been around as ideas for some time, including in the Allied camp, the military establishments didn't take them seriously. They paid for their folly in northern France and the western Soviet Union, and by the time they 'caught on', armies had been defeated and countries enslaved.

That's why I am warning you right now. That's why I am prepping believers - giving them notice - that a whole new set of weapons are being rolled up to the front line the likes of which believers have never seen before, save for the few path-finders who have been fighting the enemy's prototypes. Unfortunately, I know that most will not believe me, and I know that not only are many believers going to get seriously hurt but many are going to unnecessarily lose hope and lose their emunah (faith). Some will repent, bloody and beaten in combat and some will repent now and go fron victory to victory. My message is mostly to the latter at this time, for those of you who will listen and learn will be the means of helping those dfeated and dejected lawless or legalistic believers who refused to listen the first time round.
