I am sure that you, like me (if you were a boy, and perhaps some of the girls too, who knows) were fascinated by stories about pirates like Blackbeard during your childhood. They appealed to something of the wild, untamed and adventurous because of the romantic way in which the stories about them were told. Amazingly, some countries like my own actually commissioned pirates to rob ships and coastal towns for the crown (so that they didn't have to declare war on a country...wars were less economical) and called them 'buccaneers' or 'privateers'. Sad to say we and the French abused the Spanish 'something terrible' by this activity even though it is true they themselves were plundering native populations of their gold and wealth at the same time. It was a lawless age in so many ways.
The unusual theme for today's devotional came during my morning prayers for guidance for the day and excited no small amount of curiosity on my part. The more research I did, the more fascinated I became. What possible message could Yahweh have in this theme?
To answer that, we first have to understand more about the buccaneer, a word which comes from the French boucanier meaning 'someone who smokes meat', itself a loan word from the American Indian bukan which was used to describe some sort of grill on which the Caribbean Arwak Indians smoked their meat. I guess these buccaneers 'grilled' their victims - literally.
One thing I discovered, to my great surprise, was that a century before the brainchild of the Illuminati - the French Revolution - is that buccaneers were not only espousing later French republican and socialist ideas but were living a lifestyle not at all unlike the modern Illuminist 'ideal'. First, buccaneers were organised as companies (like business corporations) in which 'liberty, equality, and fraternity' were the rule - not biblical liberty that comes from a life submitted to Christ, not the fraternity of the saved, and not the equality of souls before Yahweh, but a kind of secular, atheistic democracy.
In a buccanner ship the captain was elected and could be removed by a vote of the crew. The crew, not the captain, decided where to go and who to attack. Spoils were divided into equal shares (there being no wages) and a social insurance system ensured that each crew member would get compensation for battle wounds on a scale of merit. Amongst the Tortugan buccaneers, homosexual partnership known as matelotage was the rule with the partners being called 'matelots'. They shared their beds, property, food and spoil.
These buccaneers were definitely 'for themselves' and yet ironically they were patronised by those who espoused a totally different lifestyle. The arrangement was purely for mutual gain and neither cared much for what the other believed in or practiced. Indeed, they probably would have been hung, drawn and quartered had they swopped societies.
This reminded me a lot of the modern arrangement in societies. We are ruled by a secret élite whose business is exploitation. Those they exploit live by a set of secular, atheistic socialist ideals similar to both the buccaneers and French revolutionaries of the Paris Commune. The latter know little or nothing about those at the top except the 'buccaneer captains' who are the middle men between the élite and the egalitarians who unknowingly serve them. The buccaneer captains, whilst highly limited by the 'democratic' power of their crews, nevertheless not only got prize money for the maintenance of their ships and the equivalent of 5-6 crew shares of the spoil but also royal favours from their Masters (or Misstress in the case of Sir Francis Drake and Queen Elizabeth I) so the captains reaped benefits from both systems.
In thinking about this perverse arrangement and the way we are ruled today, I concluded that the worst were actually the middlemen - the 'buccaneer captains' - playing both systems. Who are the 'buccaneer captains' today? Captains of industry (particularly in armaments, oil, food, etc.), government officians (politicians and bureaucrats) and those who visibly hold power. They are the pawnbrokers between their greedy, exploitative, overlords and the masses whose consciences are lulled into a false sense of security and thus rendered docile by their socialist utopian ideals. Only it isn't, in the final analysis, socialist at all, but fascist. Instead of the redistribution of wealth, plundered (in the buccaneering spirit) off others, what happens is a manipulating of the consumers into behaving in the way the élite want. In short, total control.
When the buccaneers had served their use, amassing wealth for their masters, they were eventually exterminated. Their captains either became pirates (serving no one but themselves) or went 'legit', funnily enough becoming lawyers or otherwise involving themselves in the legal profession. Does this sound uncannily like the way the EU staffs its vast bureaucracy?
Sad to say, churches have behaved in this wicked pattern too, thereby bringing great disrepute upon the Name of Christ. The Vatican has often played this 'middleman' rôle with the monarchs of Europe and is trying to do so again with the modern European Union. The Vatican is not, however, alone in this. There are plenty of evangelical Christian leaders playing the same game, ostiensibly working for the spreading of the Gospel of Christ with one face but serving the interests of corrupt and evil powers with the other. And not just evangelicals - the Mormon and Jehovah's Witness institutions have been serving the élite since the last world war. There are few organisations of any size who are not in the payroll of the banksters.
It is hard for believers not to get their fingers dirtied by the spirit of this world who are not fully yielded to Messiah. I speak now of the 'little men' - Christians and Messianics - with small ministries who like to 'think big' and who certainly have big ambitions. Satan wants them too - Satan wants everyone and is going flat out to corrupt everyone. Make no mistake about that. Which is why the Kingdom must exist in small, vital units that are so full of the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) that it is almost impossible to corrupt them. It will first become increasingly difficult, and then totally impossible, to find Yah'shua in institutionalised Christianity and Messianism. For the Gospel to survive it must have no ties to the Babylonian system whatsoever. It must give account to no one but Yahweh. If it refuses, it will find itself a buccaneer of sorts, forced to do the state's will of pillaging souls and wealth in order to survive.
Many souls come seeking Messiah who are spiritual buccaneers - they want to play both sides. Some are captains (ministers or those with ministerial ambitions) who want to exploit both - they are attracted by the egalistarianism of the Gospel but equally want to rake in the gold of Babylon, finding accomodating 'health and wealth' teachings with which to justify themselves. These are dangerous men and women. They succeed only because they successfully bait their 'crews' with promises of loot - lots of money and good health. But the 'crew' is only as useful to them for as long as it is exploitable and is doing their dirty work for them - raking in the money. Then something happens. Like the surrealist artists at the turn of the 20th century, who claimed to be 'reformers' bringing in positive 'change', they first shocked and then self-destructed.
You see, there are parallels in society at every level. The devil's methodology is painfully and monotenously consistent but people are blind to it. The surrealists were revolutionaries, wanting to overtrun the Christian order. They got to work big-time after the First World War, drowning society with decadence and immorality and paving the way for contemporary liberalism. The élite financed and orchestrated this, of course, as they always have done, in order to increase chaos for the purpose of then stepping in to offer order and salvation through oppressive control measures of its own. Obama is trying it right now with 'Homeland Security' using state-manipulated and controlled terrorism as the justification. And he's not the only national leader doing so. The same élite who patronised surrealism and other revolutionary movements also financed the very war-mongering, murderous nazis and communists who suppressed it, thereby creating more disorder and chaos, thereby weakening the roots of Christianity even more. Even Messianics are falling into their trap by attacking all 'Christianity' as bad.
When the surrealist artist René Magritte painted a picture of a smoker's pipe and wrote underneath it, Cesi n'est une pipe - 'This is not a pipe' - he made a profound statement underlining the truth about all revolutionary movements other than Christ's, namely, that their aim is to shock, create chaos and then self-destruct. Which is probably why so many revolutionaries, who rejected God, either killed themselves or died horrible deaths.
There is no future in spiritual buccaneering. The buccaneers are Satan's troops working for him whilst deceiving their underlings. They bring 'blessings' but with a heafty price tag attached to them - death.
Do not be deceived by the world and its glittery promises. They all implode eventually. And beware of religion that cooperates with it whether under the label of 'Christian', 'Evangelical' or 'Messianic'. No label is safe. Your only safety - and mine - is under the blood covering of Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ), fully submitted to and owned by Him as a true wife is to and by her husband in the Messiah. War, trauma, and distress of all kinds will crack the confidence of everyone not properly rooted in Yah'shua. The Torah hedge then becomes replaced by absurdity, irreverence, crudity, insensitivity, discord, incoherence and the excesses of loud, aggressive ugliness. Perversion of every true pattern leads to people lost like ships at sea without sail, rudder or anchor.
Thus Oliver Wendell Holmes was wrong when in the 1920's he said that good Americans when they die go to Paris. Paris and Berlin were the crucibles of the decadence following the horror of World War I that would sweep and morally destroy the Western world. They were open invitations to Mussolini and Hitler who of course were financed and scripted into the scene to further the Illuminati agenda. Today we live in the cesspool of that rebellion against the old order which, though corrupt, did at least have some semblance of Christian virtue. It could have been reformed but it was overthrown because the 'Christians' in power were either themselves corrupt or were but counterfeit fronts for the élite. The Hippie Revolution of the 1960's was the final nail in the coffin of the old order, leaving a scorched earth before it of sexual licentiousness. Their values are today the norm. The satanic utopia has arrived before it finally reveals its true colours and in an orgy of terror unlike anything experienced before in this world, shocks the sleepers into wakefulness before self-destructing.
There will be much for us to do when that happens, as it will. The buccaneers of the liberal revolt will be suppressed and actually have been very gradually and so slowly that they have barely noticed. They have been left with a few scraps of 'freedom' that fools them into believing they are still 'free' and emancipated while all along they are slaves. Of this wicked system Yahweh says:
"Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and Elohim has remembered her iniquities. Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, 'I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.' Therefore her plagues will come in one day -- death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is Yahweh-Elohim who judges her" (Rev.18:4-8, NKJV).
