Dear Mr. Warren,
I have met your Davied Israel and I am not impressed! He is not as you describe on your website, but much, much worse, in my opinion. Let me tell you what I know.
I have known him for 2 years now. I met him just after my younger sister got married to him. Why she did this I don't know, but she did. She was a very spiritual person before that, but now - o my!
I cannot describe how she now lives and now thinks as spiritual. To begin with, she sleeps with this seducer and his other wife – all together in the same bed. There is nothing spiritual about this and I think even the Apostle Paul said something about this type of thing. I have warned her repeatedly to leave this man, but she is so infatuated with him for some reason and will not listen to me. She is also about to have his child. She wants to name it Buddha - God help her! I tried to show her your site but she won't look at it and says that a person should not delve into darkness.
She also now tells me that she is becoming enlightened and started seeing her own visions and special dreams. I know this is probably because she is influenced by some spirit or other, but who knows. She claims it is all the prayer, fasting and meditation. All the astrology, yiking, and other occult stuff that Davied Israel has got her into probably the real reason - opened her up to demons of one sort or another, or maybe her bad diet did.
She also does weird rituals on the full moon in their little temple they have. I don't know exactly what they do in there but it can't be good since they are in there all night with lots of people.
They have really changed my little sister. She is a different person now and I hardly know her anymore thanks to that Israel character who has defiled her with his false teachings. She has bought into all his strange unbiblical ideas, no matter how ridiculous they are. He calls the Bible the book of satan, and she believes him. He says it was written by a Tavis and not Moses and is full of lies, and she accepts this. He tries to prove this but it makes little sense to me. Actually it does make some sense what he says, but I know it is a lie of satan to tempt me to set aside the Word. He says that good Christians are deceived and will only reincarnate until they find gnosis in some Future life.
He says that those who eat meat are possessed by demons when it is probably him who is possessed by the demons who make him say such things. Things like: the Bible was not written by Jesus or the Apostles, or don't eat meat. The New Testament says that it is okay to eat meat, but he says that these are false lines that meat eaters have inserted. He has his own bible made up of all kinds of weird books, some maybe even written by himself. He makes his teachers read from it before he teaches in his meetings he has on the quarter moons of his weird moon calendar.
They also have baptisms on the new moons. Some of them get drunk on wine at these. He doesn't like this but doesn't stop them. This shows what a bad leader he is. They also sometimes drink lots of coffee so they can stay up all night and pray on those nights he calls vigiles. My sister was raised to never drink coffee, and never did until she met this Davied guy, now she
drinks it all the time. She does other stuff now that she never did before too. She dresses different now for one thing.
Its really weird but Davied makes both his wives wear only black clothes all the time. Even their underwear is black expensive stuff from Victoria Secret! My sister would never have worn thongs before she met this guy. His one poor concubine has to wear only green. Her underwear has to be red my sister says, something about balancing her aura? She is a stupid girl, but very pretty and sexy. That is why he keeps her my sister says. She also says that he won't make her a full wife because she won't study at all. Isn't faith in Jesus enough? I think so, but he thinks study gets you into heaven – gnosis he calls it. He says faith in Christ is not enough and just that will get you no where. He makes everyone meditate instead, and do prostrations 7 times a day to a bunch of Gnostic gods he worships.
Since my sister Sarah became his wife two years ago, she has thrown away all of her Christian books, even the Bible, and all of her old clothes and possessions. She dropped out of medical school and now seems content to study Chinese medicine and read old gnostic books. She changed her name to some weird Aramaic one that I can't even pronounce, and acts totally different. She eats weird like him – only once a day at sundown. They eat just vegan stuff, out of wooden bowls with one dark and one light colored chopstick. They never eat any eggs or dairy and won't eat with anyone who is. I don't know how they survive on such stuff. Maybe that is why my little sister has gotten so skinny and pale looking? Since she has become a vegan she won't come to family dinners any more either. This breaks our poor mother's heart. That does not sound like the love of Christ to me. She could eat meat once in a while so that our mother would not feel so bad.
She has a ankh on a rosary that she wears all the time with her black clothes that her sick husband makes her wear. What a lie to wear black robes like a monk but underneath you have on sexy underwear like a hooker! She also kisses her sister wife too much too, like she is some sort of lesbian or something, but I know she isn't because she is so starry eyed for that Davied. Maybe she is bisexual or something after sleeping with Davied and his other wife for 2 whole years. She says that when Davied sleeps with his concubine on Tuesdays and Thursdays, that her and Isis still sleep together in the same bed. How sick is that? I read on your web site something about Davied spouting some sort of nonsense about curing homosexuals, but if you ask me, what he is doing is creating them instead since my sister now sleeps nude with another woman and does who knows what with her?
Anyway, I thought you might want this update on my crazy sister and that Davied Israel guy. What a lunatic he is and what stupid ideas he teaches. He talks about the Light of Christ hidden in nature, and how everyone must grow their own food to get it out of the earth and collect it and send it back home to heaven. This Manichean mumbo jumbo is absurd to me and can't be found in the Bible. Since when does the Savior need a savior? He says too that the regular food is tainted and poison and that you have to grow your own food if you want to be healthy and spiritual. He is against the resurrection of the body and so why is he worried about its health anyway? He says that Armageddon and all the other prophecies of the Bible are nonsense, except as happening inside of us, and that we must have faith in the Gnostic scriptures instead of being deluded with the fake Bible.
I asked Isis about you and your website. She just grinned and said that you were drunk with your own ideas and projecting your own secret fantasies off on others.
I asked Davied once if he thought my sister would ever leave him. He said all marriages must prove themselves over time, and that there are no guarantees. I asked him if he would ever let her marry another man besides himself. He surprised me and said – why, are you interested? He was just kidding I think, but who would know with such a crazy nut.
By the way, he is dating some other girl now too, although dating probably isn't the right word. It looks like she is trying to seduce him rather than the other way around, but who knows. She is a well off Buddhist woman from Oregon with 2 kids that left her husband to join his group a couple of years ago. His first wife is really pushing for him to get together with her, since they are such good friends, but he doesn't look too keen. I don't know what his problem is since she is quite intelligent and cute. Maybe that sexy concubine of his keeps him too worn out to get married again to a fourth woman – who knows. If she starts wearing all white clothes like my sister did the first year of her marriage, I will know they got married in some secret midnight ritual or something. They probably will sooner or later. Will it ever end?
Anyway, pray for my sister Sarah even though I know there is not much hope for her. Maybe someday she will give up all this new age nonsense of talismans, tattoos, invoking angels, yoga, trying to purify her body and clean out her subconscious and just trust in Christ to save her like the Bible says to do. I'll write again if I see anything else really strange going on.
