Chag Sameach Rosh Chodesh Mishpachah and I welcome those who have assembled to hear the Davar Elohim (Word of God) at this appointed time of the New Moon festival. In a world where integrity is sorely lacking, where a man's word is no longer his bond as it was when I was growing up, where lying is practically the default and nobody seems to care much since everybody else is doing it, what our Heavenly Father has to say becomes all the more important. For it is written:

"The Davar (Word) of Yahweh is integrity itself, all He does is done faithfully; He loves virtue and justice, Yahweh's love fills the earth" (Ps.33:4-5, JB)

There is security in emet (truth), even if it isn't aways what we want to hear. In it, we know exactly where we stand. So knowing one's standing before the Creator is a good thing, both in one's personal life in in the life of those communities with which we interact, chief of which are the nations. That's not to say there aren't truthful people because obviously there still are - what troubles me is when they become a minority because then our communities are in serious trouble. It's then Yahweh directs His nevi'im (prophets) to warn communities that if they don't change their ways that judgment will come upon them when they least expect it. And when those communities ignore, imprison or kill those nevi'im (prophets) whom first they may laugh at but who at length they seek to destroy, when mild amusement turns to irritation, then to demonic rage, as King Herod Antipas' did when John the Baptist kept on warning him ever more loudly and insistently that he end his adulterous 'marriage' to his brother's wife (Mt.14:3; Mk.6:17-18; Lk.3:19).

When nevi'im (prophets) keep on calling people to make teshuvah - to repent and turn their lives round and face the Righteous One - then their incensed conscience wants only to silence these men of Elohim (God). Then, at Yahweh's command, the voices of the nevi'im (prophets) go silent and nations are left to their own self-destructive ends. That is why there are often gaps of centuries where no prophetic voice is heard. That is why for some 400 years no public witness of a navi (prophet) could be found between Malachi and John the Baptist. That's a lot of history in which Elohim (God) is silent save what He has already given in Scripture.

I cannot speak for the whole prophetic community nor would I attempt to. A week ago, on 23 June, was the summer solstice or mid-summer's day and hereon the days get slowly shorter and darker in the northern hemisphere. When we reach autumn (fall) and move into its depths and finally into another winter, the dark days will quicken for all mankind.

"Yahweh-Tsevaoth says this: The wide ramparts of Babylon will be raised to the ground, and her high gates will be burnt down. Thus the labouring of the peoples comes to nothing, the toiling of the nations ends in fire" (Jer.51:58, JB).

Up until now we have been eating last year's harvest, which is why the shop shelves are still largely stocked in spite of the recession, but after this summer all that will start to end, and what we have saved will start becoming increasingly important. What we have been expecting for so many years now is but a few weeks away. This message is largely disbelieved and will continue to be disbelieved until all that has been said comes to pass. Again, this is your last chance to be practically and spiritually prepared if you don't have a garden you can cultivate.

That's all I'm going to say on foretelling and I'll tell you why. At the beginning of the month, on 2 June, as I was thanking Yahweh for enabling me to get some sleep after a really bad day before, a vision suddenly opened up. At first I thought it was going to be another one of those fire visions but it turned out that what I was seeing was a very bright golden light. In the middle of it I could see an open mouth and as I got closer to the face I saw that it was my own. Inside my gaping mouth was something white which I could not at first discern, but as my eyes adjusted to the brightness, I could see what looked like a block of square notepaper, the kind you scribble notes on. As I looked closer at this little pad of paper to see if there was any writing on it with perhaps a message, and as I adjusted to the bright light, I could see that the top page was blank. Nothing was written or printed on it at all or apparently on any of the other pages. It was brand new.

Now my voice is a small one, I am not even a navi (prophet) in the conventional sense, and certainly hardly known, but occasional or 'part-time', as it were, which was why there wasn't a book in my mouth, just a small block of 'post-its', I believe they're called. At first I was a little unsure as to what the precise meaning of this vision was and so I asked Yahweh, "What is it You want me to say?" since I deduced that what might have been written on that block of post-its was what He wanted me to speak as I do each Rosh Chodesh, hence it being inside my mouth. The answer came back immediately: "Nothing". Again, I asked: "What do You want me to do?" "Nothing," was the immediate reply. A little baffled. "Should I carry on teaching?" was my last question in response to which the answer came back, "Yes". Short and concise as He usually is!

There will therefore be no more direct prophetic statements from me at Rosh Chodesh on this public platform until further notice other than directly from the Scriptures, at least for now as Yahweh executes penultimate judgment:

"Yahweh, the assembly of qodeshim (saints, set-apart/holy ones) in heaven applaud the marvel of Your faithfulness....Elohim (God), dreaded in the Assembly of Qodeshim (Saints, Set-Apart/Holy Ones), great amd terrible to all around Him, Yahweh, Elohim (God) of Tsevaoth (Armies, Hosts), who is like You? - mighty Yahweh, clothed in Your faithfulness" (Ps.89:5,7-8), JB).

He is faithful. His promises are sure. And He says this of those who love emet (truth) and spread it far and wide:

"Planted in the House of Yahweh, [the righteous] will flourish in the courts of Elohim (God), still bearing fruit in old age, still remaining fresh and green, to proclim that Yahweh is righteous, my Rock in whom no fault is to be found" (Ps.92:13-15, JB).

The House of Yahweh is His Tabernacle or Temple, the chatser or courts of Yahweh is the courtyard of the Temple enclosure (Ex.27:9; 40:8; 1 Ki.6:36), the uncovered area where the Bronze Altar and Bronze Bowl are located. Those believers who are truly walking in their vocation as a Royal (Melchizedek) Priesthood "flourish in the courts of Elohim (God)", meaning they prosper in the sacrificial life represented by the Brazen Altar and the life of purity represented by the Brazen Laver because it is only by these means that they are permitted to enter the covered area which is the Temple proper, and thus into the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies. To be clear, neither the altar nor the laver are about a cohen (priest) cleansing himself - our part is to come and submit to burning and washing. They rather represent a coming to Messiah for both.

In the doing of this, they "flourish", "still bearing fruit in old age, still remaining fresh and green". In otherwords, they are alive and undefeated because being "in Christ" (e.g. Col.2:9) means being in Yahweh's courts and in His Temple, because in the new Coventant, Christ gives His trusting and obedient qodeshim (saints, set-apart/holy ones) access to this place in the invisible realm. He does not give access to those who neither trust Him nor to those who are not ignorant of His Torah mitzvot (commandments) or refuse to do them. If they have diligently read their Bibles, and not just listened to lawless preachers, they will know what Yahweh's requirements for access are, as we have been talking at length about in our Book of Revelation studies.

Now it is not for you or me to judge those who claim to have access to the holy places in the heavenlies for Yahweh alone knows who is ignorant and yet true to what they know. It is our business, though, to instruct and correct whenever opportunity presents itself and to rebuke when we know that they know what the Davar Elohim (Word of God) says and they choose to ignore or trample it in public. It is necessary that we preach the message of salvation to unbelievers by showing them what they may be saved from, but unless we also teach them what they are called to be saved to, we are failing to equip them for lives of enduring discipleship - we are potentially setting them up for a fall. It is one thing to encounter Elohim (God) but quite another to consistently and securely live for Him in all truth! To fail to teach the saved to live the Torah lifestyle is to leave them unequipped for, and vulnerable to, the vicissitudes of life and deny them access to, and flourish in, the fullness of courts of Yah's House where they may be found "bearing fruit in old age [and] still remaining fresh and green".

Brethren and sisters, keep prepping spiritually and materially. Prices aren't going to come down, the crisis will not pass for a long time. Trust in Messiah, obey the mitzvot (commandments), attend to your families and carry on witnessing! Amen.
