The Fire & the Sheep
Vision of the Remnant in This Hour
Introduction
I awoke this morning and lay resting when a vision opened up to me. I was not thinking or praying about anything at all, just enjoying the stillness of the moment before I got up.
The Vision
I saw a large herd of white sheep, thousands in number, all moving towards where I was standing (though I was above them), converging from two points - one to the left and one to the right - so as they merged together into a single flock their body had the shape of a heart. They were almost completely surrounded by a thin wall of fire from behind and to the side. The fire was moving with them slightly moving ahead on the sides as the leading sheep they caught up with it, leaving a neck or tunnel in front of them. They were not moving especially fast - the herd was not in a panic or running by any means - but moving steadily and peacefully toward an invisible point ahead of them.
Yahweh Our Rear Guard
This scripture immediately came to mind:
"Then your light will break forth like the dawn,
and your healing will quickly appear;
then your righteousness will go before you,
and the glory of Yahweh will be your rear guard.
Then you will call, and Yahweh will answer;
you will cry for help, and He will say: Here am I" (Isa 58:8-9, NIV).
The Current Status of the Final Exodus
This is a picture of the current Final Exodus in the process, the two converging parts of the top part of the heart representing, one supposes, Ephraim and Judah moving towards Yah'shua (Jesus) and to what symbolically respresents a kind of spiritual birth canal where they emerge as echad or one. There was no single human shepherd, as in the days of the First Exodus when Moses led the children of Israel, for their Shepherd was invisible to the world.
The Pharonic Army and Its Fate
Don't forget that in the original Exodus there was a pursuing Pharonic army that was destroyed and that in the current Exodus there will be another, arraigned against both individial Exoduseers as well as the collective Body of them, that will meet the same fate.
Conclusion
So if your back is up against a 'wall', remember our ancestors who faced the same 'impossible' odds. Keep your eyes on the latter-day Moses - Yah'shua (Jesus) - and see His mighty arm stretched out on behalf of His people!
