Rosh Chodesh VI
Beware of Wrong Doors of Opportunity
Introduction
Chag sameach Rosh Chodesh kol beit Yisra'el and may this sixth month of the biblical year bring shalom (peace), direction and prosperity of every good kind to your house. It is yours if you will trust in Messiah and carry out His will for you in your life. Blessings upon you all in Yah'shua our Messiah (Jesus Christ).
The Judgments are Still Coming
Some of the messages I have had to deliver recently to believers, both the lukewarm and the disobedient, have not been received well even if the initial optimism displayed by them at the accession of the current administration in America has somewhat diminished. You have to know - and accept - that all the Mishpatim Yahweh are still going to be executed. It should be obvious, as you scan the world and what's happening, that Jeremiah's earlier pronouncement, is true today - now - for this generation:
"The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved!" (Jer.8:20, NKJV).
Making a Right Response
People are waking up to the dark forces bent on destroying their nation, values and future but instead of turning the Yah'shua (Jesus), the vast majority are turning to counter-politics and affirmative action on the ground. There is nothing wrong with the latter if it is non-violent but in the end it cannot succeed if its impulse and empowerment is from the flesh - from human will alone. What is needed more than anything else, to defeat the enemy and making positive change lasting, is individual, local community and national repentance. Individuals will repent, and are repenting, and some small communities are doing the same. This will be blessed and rewarded. Yahweh will intervene in behalf of the righteous if they do what is pleasing to Him.
Vision of the Door and Yellow Snake
At dawn this morning I asked Yahweh what His will was and what, if any message, He had for us today. He gave me but one: be very careful to test any door that may open for you, which might appear to be Yahweh but is not. I saw a vision of a large white door and it was opening but attached to its front, and up in the upper right-hand corner, was what looked like a largish lump of mud, or something like that. It looked unoffensive enough but when I drew close to it I saw a very large, smooth, sluggish and fat yellow snake with red markings all curled up as snakes are wont to do. For a negative image like a snake, at any rate, red symbolises aggression and yellow sorrow. The door which looked promising, when opened and passed through, will not lead to good things but to sorrow and disappointment.
A General Vision
I cannot say if this vision relates to anyone particularly. As my question was non-specific, I can only assume it is general. In hard and challenging times, when we are looking for opportunities, ways out, and so on, we may be tempted to sacrifice caution by throwing it to the wind in our desperation for deliverance. So be careful with doors of apparent opportunty. It might be the wrong one or it may be that you are simply to stay put and wait on Yahweh patiently. The Enemy is fond of offering shortcuts that rob us of the blessings of waiting, shortcuts which lead to destruction.
Conclusion
Since I do not want to add to what I was told this morning, we will leave it at that. To the faithful and obedient I would encourage you to stay calm, keep your eyes on Yah'shua (Jesus) and do not falter. Your Redeemer is alive and active. Amen.
