Cleansing the Temple of Tresspasses II

    Continued from Part 1

    AVIV 2


    Shalom kol beit Yisra'el and welcome to the second day of assembly for the Great Dedication of the Temple of Messianic Israel. This is also the second day of the Cleansing of the Temple Court by means of spiritual Tresspass Offerings. This is Yahweh's mitzvah (commandment) to His people to cleanse themselves individually of all sins through confession, repentance and cleansing in the blood of Messiah at the Brazen Altar which we shall be speaking of presently. We cannot enter the Sanctuary - the Tabernacle or Temple proper - to dedicate it until we have dealt with all our unaccounted sins. We have four days in which to do that, this being the second day. Only then, on the fifth day, can we approach Yahweh - again at the Brazen Altar - to have our sin nature dealt with by means of the New Covenant Sin Offering. This requires complete honesty and complete transparency, coming our of hiding, asking Yahweh to expose all sin by shining the light of His emet (truth) brightly on us, no matter how much it hurts or shames us, and presenting the whole soul before Yahweh. We are assembled here to assist you all with this and we are to be led by the Ruach (Spirit) on a day-by-day basis individually. It will not be until the nineth day, when we seek entry to the Santuary - those who are allowed to, that is, meaning those who are not found unclean - that we shall be entering into coporate cleansing under Melchizedek Priesthood toqef (authority) according to its several orders.

    Month 3:23 - Is It Significant This Year?

    The morning session of the second day began with Brother Ljungstrand being led to draw our attention to Esther 8:9 that speaks of the order given in the 23rd day of the 3rd month when the King Xerxes' secretaries were summonsed by Mordecai to write letters to all the Jews throughout the Persian Empire authorising them to defend themselves against their enemies. The speculation was that this might be a prophecy pertinent to the Middle Eastern crisis today. We have noted this and shall see.

    Itching for War

    Irrespective of whether this is a bona fide account or not, knowing the penchant of the Jews for aligning military and other hostile actions with their favourite Pharisaic festivals (Purim is often used as a pretext for waging wars of aggression, carrying our assassinations, and so on), and knowing of the occultists' superstitious love of perceived important numbers, this date might indeed signal something important this year, particularly with the mishpat (judgment) hanging over this small Rothschild Illuminati nation. They have been itching to attack Iran for some time now and do not lack supporters amongst the neo-conservatives in Washington DC. It's a date to in any case watch out for, particularly if Yahweh uses it to reverse rôles and execute judgment in the imposters.

    Reproach Rolled Away

    Sister Enger felt inspired to share a passage in Joshua which she had been strongly led to in connection with our long wandering over the years and the calling for heart-circumcision and purification:

      "Then Yahweh said to Joshua, 'Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you'" (Josh.5:9, NIV).

    In the same way that the first generation was now physically dead as Israel crossed the Jordan and that second generation was spiritually 'dead' to their parents' former pagan Egyptian ways, so a new beginning had been made and a new people were prepared for conquest. Likewise we too are to regard our past as symbolically dead too, with our former reproaches rolled away by the circumcision of our hearts. That is what we have come up for, so that we can begin anew in a fresh endowment of the Ruach (Spirit).

    Vision of the Jewel-Encrusted Rock

    I had woken on the morning of the second day with a vision. On the wall opposite me, and in place of the shelf that is usually there, I saw a rock, about the size of two large fists, attached to it. The rock was studded with small precious jewels of various sizes, from the smallest about the size of a waterdrop to the lagest about the size of a fingernail. Because of all the crystals the whole rock shone but as you got closer you could see the dark matrix into which they were set. It looked rather like a mineral ore. I knew that this was a depiction of a soul-type.

    Vision of the Rock-Covered Jewel

    I arose and got ready for the day. As I was sitting at my computer a second vision opened, this time of a rock of equal proportions to the first but devoid of any shining stones. It was a dark brown and apparently without any kind of radiance. But then I could see inside it, and at its heart lay a very large crystal indeed with many faces, tinged with a purple colour, and very beautiful. I am sure you have seen such crystals in a geological museum or in a private collection that have had a section of rock removed showing the gem within. I realised again this was a depiction of another soul-type and that understanding both of them was a key to deliverance and cleansing.

    Humans and Angels

    Though we are all different with various personalities created by all kinds of things - hereditary, environmental, the choices we make, etc. - yet we are all recognisably 'human'. Those of you who have encountered malakim (angels) of either type, whether godly or demonic, will know that while they are similar to our species they are nevertheless different. They physically appear like us (unless they are demonic in which case they are often grotesquely disfigured) but radiate differently. They also comport themselves differently and have supernatural powers quite unlike our own restricted ones. You also sense a different type of spirit in them, one (in the case of heavenly malakim) that is devoid of the uncertainties and struggles that we wrestle with. They are more 'together', as it were, and all this taken together would account for the fact that they are a little 'higher' than we are on the scale of authority and blessedness, at least for now (Heb.2:7,9). They don't wrestle with the fleshy nature as we do because they don't have one, even though they can make wrong choices and rebel. But when they do so, they are never in ignorance, which is why there is no repentance or forgiveness for them if they do, since Yah'shua (Jesus) did not die for them, but only for human beings who made a covenant in the pre-world to come down here.

    Two Broad Categories of Demonised Humans

    Fallen malakim (angels) are of all kinds based on their choices (the kinds of evil they have done) and their satanic assignments. And though on the outside we humans all look more or less the same, in our spirits we are as varied as the demonic hosts in their appearances. However, broadly speaking, there are two categories of demonised human being, in the way they have become disfigured in their mental, emotional and psychic makeup. Importantly, both sets of human beings tend to dislike one another and to avoid friendshipping one another - people of like nature (and disfigurement) tend to be attracted to one another on account of the demonic dispositions within them. This is as true of believers as it is of unbelievers. So bubbly, vivacious though somewhat anarchistic people tend to be drawn to one another where as the quieter more passive and orderly types tend to be attracted to their own. There are many degrees within these natures, many shades of apparent personality type, apparent because it isn't human but demonic. The demonic separates out, based on our choices, the two components (lively, spontaneous and quiet, orderly) of complete human beings. Both view their opposites with a degree of contempt and when they are not avoiding them - because they have been forced together by circumstances - are often driven to try and 'change' their opposite type into images of themselves. Because there is a demonic presence in both, the one type tends to be 'actively aggessive' while the other 'passively aggressive'.

    The Satanic Strategy for Division

    In these visions of the rocks Yahweh wished to show me an urgent problem that needed solving if the Remnant is to have any chance of coming together as echad - in unity. Most believers, believing that someone who is saved cannot possibly have a demonic problem (owing to wrong, usually antinomian, teaching), are in major denial over this matter and need deliverance. Both types, I hasten to add, are not happy. They may have moments of simcha (joy) but overall there is a sense that something is wrong but they don't know what to do about it. And in bursts of conscience, they feel guilty for so disliking the opposite demonic types. Attempts by each to reform the other never work simply because each is revolted and repelled by the demonic presence in the other, each believing they are in a place of blessedness and are called to change the other. It's a bit like ideologically-minded fascists trying to convert ideologically-minded communists, and vice versa, or Muslims trying to forcibly convert Hindus and vice versa only to end up killing one another. The satanic strategy for keeping people divided in this way is diabolically clever. No matter which 'side' you are on, your view is entirely relative because it is in the nature of the flesh to make judgments by comparison. True judgment can only be made on the basis of the Davar (Word).

    Setting People Up For Conflict

    Over the years we have come to identify these two sets of characteristics as belonging to the Hecatic and Lilithic demonic powers, respectively. They are deadly twins and have kept humanity at one another's throats since time immemorial. Satan knows that the two 'types' cannot possibly see the emet (truth) apart from total surrender to Yah'shua (Jesus). The Enemy exploits these two pathological spiritual and psychic conditions and keeps this civil war going in a number of clever ways one of which we have come to know as the Hegelian Principle (named after the German philosopher). He does this in the realm of politics very successfully by setting up two apparent opposites, both of which are demonic, and gets them to war against each other. From the vantage point of an observer, one of these two is a 'good cop' (because the observer will be sympathetic) and the other is a 'bad cop' (because the observer will be hostile). The party which the observer supports will usually be the one most after his own fallen, deminised nature. So two sides are drawn up and they wage war, as in white occult vs. good occult, or Protestantism vs. Catholicism, even though both sides are actually on the Enemy's 'side'. Yahweh's 'side' is invariably a third and entirely different position.

    The Hegelian Principle

    After a while the two sides get sick of conflict and war and seek a resolution. Because neither side yield to the other's position, a 'compromise' is arrived up, which in the Hegelian system is called a synthesis. Karl Marx, himself driven by demons (he was a satanist and by no means an atheist), exploited the tendency to 'war-weariness' and the hunger for peace to use this dialectic to inch people toward toward this goal. That's why 'left' and 'right' democratic parties today are almost indistinguishable - the 'left' looks like the 'right' and the 'right' looks like the 'left' which is why in politics third way parties are emerging. The establishment all think alike now and, predictably, it's anti-Biblical-Christian, because that was in Satan's design from the beginning. Much of Christianity looks like the world because it has thus been compromised. It's how the American Presbyterian Church arrived at its decision to redefine marriage through a process of tiny compromises with the emet (truth) over a very long time.

    The Pizza Method

    To be separate - holy, qadosh - the Remnant has to clearly understand how this satanic method works. It is applied to all spheres of life. It's also known as the 'Pizza Method' - Satan cuts a thin slice off the pizza over a long period of time until he has the whole pizza. Society is in the desperate state that it is in today precisely because it is the victim of this gradual corruption that seems innocuous enough because each change is so 'small'. But once the enemy gets a whiff of success he can often get impatient and want to speed things up, and it's then he makes mistakes and ordinary people begin to see that something is amiss. That is what's happening now and is why the élites are now going to be defeated and be brought to judgment.

    Why We Take So Long to Repent

    The problem is we don't have the same long drawn-out period of time to correct things. Though repentance is often gradual, for various reasons (we are sluggish, lazy, stubborn, or whatever) it's supposed to be radical, like interventive surgery. Yahweh wants to show us our condition so that we can see (and be appalled) by what we see and leap into action. We are supposed to be dragging our idols out of the temples of our body in anger, then smashing and burning them. There must be no hestitation, no residual sympathy for them. As we shall see, the Tabernacle was designed to teach us how to do this. Repentance does not have to be this long, agonising drawn-out torture - it's supposed to be intense and short, as dramatic as resurrection itself, not as tortuous and drawn out as Satan's false evolutionary model. Yah'shua (Jesus) can change instantly, and whilst certain parts of our soul may take time to catch up (the heart normally takes far longer to adjust than the mind, and the body longer even still), we're not supposed to remain in the Enemy's prison cell. We're supposed to be free.

    Being Free

    When the first talmidim (disciples) were gathered together and experienced the Shavu'ot (Pentecost) anointing in Jerusalem, having been told to wait for it, they were transformed in seconds. One day they were fearful and defeated, and the next they were bold and empowered, and launched out into the world with bold testimony. Yahweh wanted sudden and glorious transformation. And whilst, as I said, some things require time for change - some traumas require a great deal of healing with cycles lasting up to seven years (that's why, on one level, we have such cycles as the Sh'mittah or Sabbatical Year), by and large change is supposed to be rapid. Others are even longer, such as the one lasting thousands of years leading to our full Millennial redemption. But we are not supposed to languish in dungeons of despair, nor are we supposed to be gems encased in suffocating rock or fragmented souls riding a vehicle of darkness, apparently fine on the outside but within living in fear and chaos.

    Helping Trapped Souls

    The Remnant has to learn how to minister to the two divisions of soul coming out of Satan's realm, rescuing them and not permitting them to be drawn into, and languish in, good cop/bad cop conflicts that have no possible saving outcome. Without the vision of the Sukkot Anointing it is not possible to do this, and without grace lubricating the Sukkot machinery of the heart we will get sucked in instead of staying apart from it as dispassionate, yet sympathetic and skilled, spiritual surgeons.

    A Story in the Lilithic Prison

    I'm going to illustrate by sharing with you how Satan trapped me in the Lilithic spirit. My first marriage was breaking down, even as Yahweh had told me it would even before I was married, and my wife had gone off for an adulterous relationship with another man deep into the occult. When I heard she had done the dastardly act, it was though a white hot iron had been plunged into my heart. I was crying out silently because I did not dare to give voice to it, raised I had been in another false system, the spirit of Stoicism, whose teaching is that bear your burdens and pains in your own strength. As I was sitting in my flat (apartment) in silent agony of soul, I remember a vision opening up to me, but this time (though I didn't know it then) from the Enemy. I was in this surreal place, a temple without walls or roof (no covering) but consisting only of four stone gates or portals facing a central empty space. I should have known that a demonic trick was being perpetrated on me but I was desperate to have pain relief. I honestly though that Yahweh was at work and that this was His doing, trapped as I still was in the spirit of Mormonism, a gnostic cult. Even in my agony Satan was playing on the kind of religious pride I had learned in part from the esoteric, occultic part of Mormonism, that this pain could be used as a spiritual transforming power and that I could harnass it somehow for that purpose.


    I walked through that gate and though I was still in pain it began to numb. Without realising it, I had entered the temple of the demoness Lilith and it was she who was empowering me to 'copy' with my agony. But there was a price to be paid, as Satan always exacts a heavy price, and that was to experience a hardness, a loss of sensitivity, compassion, especially consisting a demonic contempt for those who did not have the control I thought I now had over my feelings. Progressively, Lilith shuts you down so that making heart-connections with other becomes more and more difficult. You analyse feelings with your head instead, trying to figure out what the proper emotional response is supposed to be. You become withdrawn and private, inhabiting your own inner world, empowered by a dark entity who progressively destroys your health and wellbeing.

    The Leviathan Connection

    One demon attracts others - of course - and with Lilith came Leviathan, the spirit of pride. You pride youself in your apparent self-control and have contempt for those who have none, especially for those who choose Hecate rather than Lilith with which to deal with trauma. In place of the coldness of Lilith, Hecate gives a burning anger, a rage. It is loud, noisy, uncontrolled, tempremental, and loathes the silent self-control of the Lilith infectee as much as he hates his own lack of control and hot-headedness.

    How Satan Harnasses the Lilith and Hecate Opposites

    When faced with pain or trauma, Satan offers two choices - that you simply 'let it all out' in blind rage, often blaming Elohim (God), or absorb it by blaming yourself. Either is self-destructive so he offers two solutions - Hecate to give you a sense of power with aggressiveness to back it up, and Lilith to give you the cold, silent calculated kind of power and passive aggressiveness. Like two jealous women Hecate and Lilith loathe each other while Satan recruits their negative energy discharges them to work for his side by sowing confusion and chaos.

    Using Believers for Destruction

    You see, Satan is never just content to hurt us - he also wants to control and own us and to make us, even as believers, as his instruments of destruction - he wants everything and gets it while leaving you to believe the lie that you are in control when you are, in fact, a slave.

    Shutting Down or Ruled by Rage

    I have been through more than one such trauma in my life and each time things have got worse. Progressively I have handed this over to Yah'shua (Jesus) at the Cross but of course in your blindness you don't always see that there is more to do until (in the case of Lilith) you start shutting down or (in the case of Hecate) you start losing it emotionally when various triggers are activated. For Lilith, it is anathema to talk about heart-issues - for Hecate, it is anathema to be meek, gentle and submissive or to be submitted to others' rules. And of course the two provoke one another 'something terrible', as you Americans put it.

    Internal Hierarchies

    Demons, when they get access to your soul (through your permissions, self-vows or your giving them legal grounds) immediately set up internal hierarchies of control. And one such element, which we discussed a lot in the morning session of the second day, was Leviathan, which is both the name of the demon of pride and a now extinct dinosaur of immense size and strength that was around in Job's day. Pride is a monster and it is used by the Enemy to solidify the control of Hecate, Lilith and indeed a whole host of other demons associated with a wide spectrum of vices. Leviathan is one of those agents protecting the demonic status quo. In a fit of self-pity in his agony Job bewailed:

      "May the day perish on which I was born, And the night in which it was said, 'A male child is conceived.' May that day be darkness; May Elohim (God) above not seek it, Nor the light shine upon it. May darkness and the shadow of death claim it; May a cloud settle on it; May the blackness of the day terrify it. As for that night, may darkness seize it; May it not rejoice among the days of the year, May it not come into the number of the months. Oh, may that night be barren! May no joyful shout come into it! May those curse it who curse the day, Those who are ready to arouse Leviathan" (Job 3:3-8, NKJV).

    Atheism and Heathenism

    Now Job is not here speaking of capturing the living dinosaur Leviathan but of rousing the demon of the same name which was, it would see, the practice of those heathen around him in this pre-Flood days. Who is ready to "raise Leviathan"? Those who are prepared to curse Elohim (God) for their suffering. That is why atheism and heathenism are so saturated with pride and arrogance. One way or another, you will get the whole gammut of Satan's fallen characteristics once you have taken the step to invite one demon into your life, because all demons have 'family connections' and will start coming through that door you opened to the first demon. Either that or, if you are a born-again believer, you will have a battle on your hands, resisting the continual flood of temptation and frighrening urges. Worse, he is fighting Yahweh too:

      "Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to Yahweh;
      Though they join forces, none will go unpunished"
      (Prov.16:5, NKJV).


      "Elohim (God) resists the proud,
      But gives grace to the humble"
      (1 Peter 5:5, NKJV).

    Dealing With Dark Coping Mechanisms

    People have to understand that whatever benefit they suppose they obtain in coping with pain, by having these demons onboard their souls, that they are not only fighting a civil war within but their continuing choice is "an abomination to Yahweh". Yahweh wants you to give Yah'shua (Jesus) the control and to let Him heal the supernatural way. That is why we have so many ailments because we are employing destructive forces, which are at enmity with Heaven, as coping mechanisms. Yahweh shows much grace to be sure but He also offers us numerous opportunities to change masters, for "no one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other" (Matt.6:24, NKJV). Yahweh will forebear with the believer who is under the dominion of Hecate or Lilith for so long but a time most definitely does come when grace is exhausted and he must choose either Him or Satan. Such a time is certainly upon those of the Remnant wrestling with such issues who are called to cleansing. But they must first choose it. Yahweh will not make that choice for them.

    Grace Has a Deadline When It Comes to Pride

    As far as Leviathan or the spirit of pride is concerned, in its kaleidoscope of different forms, Yahweh will not endure it indefinitely in His professed servants and will bring them to judgment. For it is written:

      "Yahweh will punish with his sword,
      his fierce, great and powerful sword,
      Leviathan the gliding serpent,
      Leviathan the coiling serpent;
      he will slay the monster of the sea"
      (Isa.27:1, NIV).

    Leviathan and the 'Evil Boss'

    The many-headed Leviathan, which Yahweh shall crush by the by (Ps.74:14), like Hecate and Lilith, are in the end just names 'the evil boss' himself, as Brother Ljungstrand calls him.

      "It was You (Yahweh) who split open the sea by your power;
      you broke the heads of the monster (Leviathan) in the waters.
      It was you who crushed the heads of Leviathan
      and gave him as food to the creatures of the desert"
      (Ps.74:13-14, NIV).

    Dark Powers Hurled to the Earth

    We do not want demonic presences in our souls as the world gets more and more infested with demons, as it is currently being. It is written:

    "The great dragon was hurled down-that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him" (Rev.12:9, NIV).

    Demons to Physically Manifest

    This is a prophecy that has been, and is being fulfilled, in degress. The world has long been saturated with demons, but before too long we will start seeing them in physical manifestated forms more and more, of which the hybrid nephilim are one such form. We have long contended with them in spirit, but are we prepared to contend with them in the flesh too? It was so before the Flood, the earth was full of these monstrosities, and is filling up with them again. That is why we need the Sukkot Annointing and the Covenant of Wonders (Miracles) to deal with them for they are worse task masters than ISIS ever could be.

    Many Fallings

    The luciferic "star..from heaven" (Rev.9:1, NKJV), that comes from the bottomless pit, has "fallen" to the earth many times and is coming again. With each 'falling' there comes a darkening of the sun and the air (v.2) followed by great destruction represented in the Book of Revelation by locusts (v.3). When they come in vast swarms they blot out the light of the sun too. The solar eclipse, which we witnessed on Aviv 1 is a forewarning of such darkening to come and which is imminent.

    The Time is Evil

    Is anyone in any doubt about the times we are in?

      "Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time" (Rev.12:12, NKJV).

    Cleansing is Essential, All are Two Witnesses

    The sun of righteousness has not been totally blotted out yet but it is getting progressively darker. That is why we must be cleansed so that we can enter the Sanctuary of the Tabernacle and have our lights kindled within so that we can supernaturally shine, bringing the light of the blotted out sun to the world by our testimony. We are all called to be the "two witnesses" (Rev.11:3) which are the fullness of the Torah (Law - Moses) and the Nevi'im (Prophets - Elijah). And though Christendom is saturated with people calling themselves 'prophets' they are not after the Sukkot Anointing - they are not after the fullness - because they yet walk in lawlessness. And so they cannot give a complete testimony because they do not walk after the tavnith (pattern) of the Tabernacle! For it is written:

      "...behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven..." (Rev.15:5, NKJV).

    The Heavenly Tabernacle Necessary

    If the taberbacle is still in heaven, and if we are to "behold" it, then it is obviously of great relevance still because it is by it that we measure our testimony. So when, in a short while, we start talking about the Tabernacle and Temple, which we have been called to cleanse and dedicate, let none despise it. If we are to reflect the heavenly tavnith (pattern) we must understand all the types perfectly.

    Satan is Defeatable

    In all of this, we need to remember, as Sister Hayden reminded us, that though Satan is stubborn and relentless, that he is defeatable. It is an easy matter to get overwhelmed in this time of cleansing if we are not careful but once we are seeing things through Yah'shua's (Jesus') eyes the perspective immediately changes. We are here, today, during this 16 days, being given the opportunity to break out of Darkness for good through that 'love which will not let me go'.

    Henry Gruver's Witness on Sin Remittance

    The afternoon of the second day was devoted to some of the teachings of Henry Gruver and in particular what Yahweh revealed to him about remitting sin. The key passage of Scripture is a resurrection appearance and instruction to the apostles:

      "So Yah'shua (Jesus) said to them again, 'Shalom (peace) to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.' And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, 'Receive the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit). If you forgive ('remit', KJV) the sins of any, they are forgiven them ('remitted', KJV); if you retain the sins of any, they are retained'" (John 20:20-23, NKJV).

    The Roman Catholic Error and the Evangelism Anointing

    From a misunderstanding and twisting of this passage has come the Roman Catholic belief that their priests can forgive sin on behalf of Christ in the confessional. However, the context is plainly evangelism - "As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." This was a unique conferral of the Ruach (Spirit) and in no other place do we find it being given by breathing on someone even though the Hebrew word ruach does indeed mean 'breath'. This is an anointing for a task - the task of witnessing. And Henry Gruver is beyond any shadow of a doubt an evangelist.

    All Must Give Testimony: Lifting the Veil

    That clarified, we are, however, all witnesses - we bear testimony of what we have witnessed, seen and experienced, and we spiritually do so in the "temple of the tabernacle of the testimony". What, then, does it mean to remit or forgive sin in the context of witnessing or testifying? It is, through prayer, to 'breathe' on someone who is in darkness, lifting the veil of blindness by asking Yah'shua to temporarily forgive their sins, even though they have not asked for forgiveness and do not deserve forgiveness because of their choice to remain in sin - it is to briefly have their sins forgiven through intercession so that they can see the emet (truth) of their condition so that they can actually make a choice to be saved if they want to. It is an act of grace, but only temporary, like the animal sacrifices of the Old Covenant.

    Henry Gruver's Story of Sin Remittance Amongst Terrorists

    When we are anointed with an unction of the Ruach (Spirit) to do this, then it is because Yahweh will it to be the time for that particular task. It is not necessarily a 'power' we can use willy-nilly. In the case of Henry Gruver, it was first taught to him in a life-threatening situation so that his emunah (faith) could grow. Captured by Muslim terrorists in Israel, accused of being a CIA agent and told that he would be skinned alive and killed, he petitioned the Throne of Grace for help. He was told by Yahweh to remit their sins quietly in prayer. The result was an instant softening in all the terrorists' hearts, they experienced the power of Elohim (God) inside them, were filled with fear, and fled, thus saving Gruver's life. However, this miracle was not just for him for he had also been led to pray for their lives. A short while later he would encounter them again and find himself between the terrorists who had let him go and the Israeli militia who had them cornered and were about to open fire on them. because of his prayer, instead of fighting it out, the terrorists surrendered. Thus his life, and theirs, were saved through remitting their sins. And as the Ruach (Spirit) wills, we may do the same for others. But first we must learn to hear Yah's voice and not take the initiative ourselves for the anointing is specific to tasks that only heaven can authorise.

    The Saints of the Courtyard

    In the evening session of the second day we started making the first tentative moves toward a study of the layout of the Tabernacle for the current cleansing and dedication. Understanding this tavnith (pattern) is important. We are reminded that the courtyard of the temple/tabernacle, in which we are currently operating for the first 8 days, represents a very large group of believers who will be overwhelmed and conquered by the Enemy at the height of the final tribulation:

      "Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the malakh (angel) stood, saying, 'Rise and measure the temple of Elohim (God), the altar, and those who worship there. But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the qadosh (holy, set-apart) city underfoot for forty-two months" (Rev.11:1-2, NKJV).

    A Symbolic Understanding of the Fate of Courtyard Believers

    This is obviously not literal. No enemy in the past, be it Babylonian or Roman, has sacked the courtyard and left the main building standing. It would make no sense even if they did. This is a description of the qodeshim (believers, saints, set-apart ones) during the 7 year Great Tribulation, and specifically the last 3½ years. At that time those whom the courtyard represents will be taken captive and destroyed whereas those who are symbolically in the Temple will be untouched - and specifically, those of the Remnant who are of the Sukkot Anointing. Applied to our time, it means that a great many - if not most - will not have a covering when the judgment falls and will probably have to shoot their way out of trouble to survive.

    Why the Court Matters to Us

    The question arises, since we are now in the time that foreshadows this latter part of the Great Tribulation, what will happen to the believers who belong to the Court at this time of judgment? Why are we even concerned about the courtyard since our objective is the Sanctuary or Temple itself?

    Our Generation, the Last Generation and the Cleansing

    In answer to that, several things may be said. Firstly, you cannot approach, let alone enter, the Sanctuary without first passing through the courtyard in the correct manner - according to divine tavnith (pattern). Second, there is no reason to suppose that at this time of judgment there is to be a complete captivity of extinction of the believers who spiritually occupy the courtyard, whilst by no means denying that they will not travail in large numbers. We already see the work of destruction of such people in Syria, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan and elsewhere. So even though there most certainly be those of the Court at this time of judgment who may not be touched, or who may suffer but not necessarily perish, this is ceratinly not the place to remain in spiritually, remembering that this is a dress rehearsal for the Last Generation, those who are with us today and those who will yet come. This is why this record is so important for them, though obviously not everything is recorded here, and there will be differences then to what is happening now even though the same tavnith (pattern) will be followed.

    The Glory of the Court Affirmed

    Having said all of this, we must not suppose that the Court has nothing to offer us of itself or that we should necessarily just hurry through it to obtain the safety of the Tabernacle proper. It is, as we shall see, a truly marvelous place to be while it is not trodden down, so much so that David, no less than six times, expressed his desire to be there!

      "Blessed is the man You choose,
      And cause to approach You,
      That he may dwell in Your courts.
      We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house,
      Of Your holy temple"
      (Ps.65:4, NKJV).

      "Give to Yahweh the glory due His name;
      Bring an offering, and come into His courts.
      Oh, worship Yahweh in the beauty of holiness!
      Tremble before Him, all the earth"
      (Ps.96:8-9, NKJV).

      "Those who are planted in the house of Yahweh
      Shall flourish in the courts of our Elohim (God)"
      (Ps.92:13, NKJV).

      "My soul longs, yes, even faints
      For the courts of Yahweh;
      My heart and my flesh cry out for the living Elohim (God)...
      For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.
      I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my Elohim (God)
      Than dwell in the tents of wickedness"
      (Ps.84:2,10, NKJV).

      "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
      And into His courts with praise.
      Be thankful to Him, and bless His name"
      (Ps.100:4, NKJV).

    Doors vs. Hanging Cloths and the Importance of Brass

    There is only one entrance to the Temple Court, called the "gate" but it did not consist of a door or doors but a hanging cloth made up of blue, purple and scarlet thread suspended from brass pillars (Ex.27:16-19; 38:18-18). The whole of the courtyard and its contents, including the altar, is characterised by a single metal, that is, brass, which represents judgment. It represents the judgment of Messiah for our transgressions (Is.53).

    Yah'shua's Door and Humility

    When Yah'shua (Jesus) described Himself as the "door of the sheep" (Jn.10:7,9) He was not referring to a wooden door with a handle but to this hanging cloth, the construction of which was very specific. Neither could you draw the cloth to the side and pass into the Court between it and the brass pillar because the only way through it was under it. Moreover, Yah'shua (Jesus) does not represent Himself as "the" only door or cloth or exclusively to the entrance of the courtyard because, like Elohim (God), who is a compound unity of at least Three Persons, so the singular "door" to the temple is, in fact, three doors or hangings.

    The Other Two Doors

    The third and last of these, between the Holy of Holies and the Holy Place, was physically torn in two - ripped from top to bottom - at the crucifixion (Mt.27:51; Mk.15:38; Lk.23:45). Previously, the Cohen Gadol (High Priest) could only enter that room by crawling under the curtain bringing with him the blood of atonement at Yom haKippurim (Day of Atonements) in the same way that the ministers in the Holy Place could only gain access there by crawling under a second door betwen the Holy Place and the courtyard. In other words, to qualify for service in Yahweh's Place requires that you crawl on your hands and knees three times as a mark of complete humility - that's why the Messiah asked Peter three times if he loved Him (Jn.21:17).

    The Threefold Way

    There was only one entrance to the Temple just as there is only one entrance to the Kingdom of Heaven, which is through Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ). He is the only door into the Holy of Holies and into the presence of Elohim (God), for there is salvation (deliverance) in no other (Ac.4:12). That is why the curtain was ripped at His death so that those in the Holy Place can now have access to the Father from their Eternal Cohen Gadol (High Priest). Most of Protestant Christianity teaches that all you have to do is come through one gate or hanging and you're in the Holy of Holies automatically - in the presence of Elohim (God). Not true. Yah'shua (Jesus) is the Derech (Way) or a road we must walk along, growing stage by stage in emunah (faith) along the path of the festivals and what they represent. The Pesach (Passover) Season is represented by the Courtyard (the New Birth at Yom haBikkurim), Shavu'ot (Weeks, 'Pentecost') in the Holy Place (Betrothal to Messiah by agreeing to enter Covenants of Obedience to Torah) and Sukkot (Tabernacles) in the Holy of Holies (full Marriage to Messiah for those who have overcome). And there is a door to open and pass through - to crawl under in humility - to get to each moed or appointment with Yahweh, just as there are three glories represented by the sun, moon and stars (1 Cor.15:41-42) for those prepared to walk the trail of sacrifice and total commitment to Yah'shua (Jesus).

    The Pre-Eminence of Blood Atonement

    As I said, the huge brass altar is what strikes you immediately upon entry to the Court. Its dimensions and construction were given in great detail by revelation (Ex.27:1-8; 38:1-7). This altar had the pre-eminence, and it stood between the court entrance and the entrance of the Sanctuary. You can't go round it to get access to Elohim (God). Made of living wood and overlaid by brass, so Yah'shua (Jesus) our Messiah is made of mortal, living flesh and is overlaid with the brass of our judgment - the judgment of sin against us because of our Torah transgression. He was overlaid with our iniquity, born by shittim wood. He bore our transgressions in His own flesh. Those who deny the blood atonement of Messiah and will not receive new chayim (life) in exchange for the 'life' of the flesh - of fallen man - cannot return to the Father. They are dead in tresspasses, dead in sin. As we shall see, there is far more to this than what happens at the Brazen Altar and that must await another day. Between this huge altar, taller than anything else, and the entrance to the Tabernacle/Temple, was a brass or brazen, two layered laver filled with purified water. I will speak of this presently too.


    The battlelines with the flesh are drawn, and the flesh must be dealt with in the Court within the first 8 days of the dedication - first vthe sins of the flesh and then the fleshy nature. Yahweh sees into every heart, knowing which is right and which is not, which is repentant and which is not, which is pure and which is not, which ir holy and which is unholy. We are what we choose to be and there is not a single hint in the layout of the Tabernacle that we cannot do anything about ourselves. The blood of propritiation is offered, as with the washings, and much else - all we have to is avail ourselves of them. If anyone is rejected, as Cain was, then is their fault and nobody elses. So cry to come out of darkness, imprisonment, bondage and slavery - cry out for deliverance, for your cries will be of no avail once the tempke doors are bolted, once the door to the ark has been closed by the Almighty. Do not delay, do not postpone, do not procrastinate - do not let shyness, fear, anger, laziness or any other vice of the flesh hinder you. Rebuke it, cast it aside, turn to Messiah, and be delivered. Amen.
