"I tell you the emet (truth), unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow Me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honour the one who serves Me" (John 12:24-26, NIV).

Yesterday we took a look at the Book of Jasher as it relates to the Creation Sabbath and today I wish to share a prophetic word which Yahweh gave be this morning before sunrise.

Today is the 30th day of the 10th month, being Rosh Chodesh Preparation Day, or the Day of the Son, Yah'shua (Jesus). Many of you are anxious about the immediate future, and understandably so, as the world heads for the financial abyss and as the international leaders of the Babylonian system, along with all the other evils they are behind, face imminent judgment from Yahweh. This does not mean, though, that there isn't going to be a terrible cost to be paid by those who are suffering, and will suffer, at their hands, because this is also a judgment time against those who have either not trusted Yah'shua (Jesus) at all (when the message of salvation has been presented to them) but also for those believers walking in disobedience. And even some of the righteous ones will have to suffer for the sakes of the aforementioned. The urgency for everyone to make teshuvah has not abated nor has the command to them been recinded to hurry up and get ready. Japan, Europe and the USA are all on the edge of the financial cliff.

This morning I had a prophetic dream, part of which I want to share with you. In the dream I was taken from the safety of our place of refuge and into the world outside. Society had come to the point where in the cities, at least, anatchy reigned and street gangs ruled. I watched as one gang attacked some people and on the side lines I saw a young woman whom they had not yet spotted but whom they would undoubtedly shift their attention later if she remained there in open view. But rather than seek shelter and safety, as I supposed she would do, whe went right up to the gang members and with nervous laughter surrendered herself to them. I was astonished! Why would she do that? And when I asked Yahweh about what I had seen upon wakening, He simply said: "She has chosen to believe and follow them for imagined safety". Then I knew that she represented that majority of people who, lured by the promise of endless entitlements without personal responsibility or labour, would surrender themselves to anything or anyone who would satisfy their laziness and lust, even at the loss of their own personal freedom to become slaves and - ultimately - welfare. For there is no ultimate safety, of course, in a system that enslaves you.

In spite of their being an awakening in America and elsewhere, those who are aware remain in the minority, even if that minority is growing and, according to one estimate, may be as much as a quarter of the population now. However, the reason that Yahweh is going to deliver a blow to the wicked rulers in high places is not because a majority is righteous but for the sake of the righteous within the minority whilst we must realise (for the sake of perspective) that a very large portion of the minority is not seeking Yahweh either. Yahweh's intervention is for the sake of the elect and in spite of the rising wickedness of mankind.

My message today is for those who are represented by the woman who chose safety amongst the lawless and the heathen thinking that thereby they will save their own skins. They will, of course, learn the hard way - the bitter way - and discover to their dismay that their 'protection' is anything but protection. Rather, the way of the world leads to slavery, abuse, numbness of soul, bitterness and misery. We should never underestimate the stupidity of the flesh and its skill in making monumental spiritual misjudgments and blunders, but unfortunately our pride will likewise deceive us into thinking that our intellectual prowess is somehow wisdom when it is not. Our wisdom is revealed by what we do and what we become. It is not revealed or determined by biocomputational skills. You only have to consider all the asinine things that so-called atheistic 'geniuses' like Dawkins, Hawking and others say about Elohim (God), Creation and spirituality to know that these 'clever' people are complete fools. Neither they nor anyone else will ever intellectualise themselves into right relationship with Yahweh or the Emet (Truth). The intellect is useless and vain unless it is in the servive of El Elyon, the Most High because it wasn't designed for anything else. Man's attempt to understand the universe and the reason for everything without recourse to the Creator is a bit like my expecting my Pentium 4 to explain the meaning of my dreams.

The greatest intellectuals who reject Elohim (God) so frequently reveal themselves again and again to be spiritual imbeciles devoid even of the basic common sense owned by the simplest of people. They forget that Satan is far more intellegent than they are and can run rings around their supposed brilliance...which, of course, is how he puts them into bondage in the first place. Believing one big lie is usually enough to put them behind bars whilst convincing them they are free. Freedom is not a function of brain power but of surrenderedness to the Creator; but that freedom can only ever be received if their lev (heart) has first freely and genuinely forgiven those who sin against them, whether these sins be real or imagined, because the result is the same.

The good news is that some of the people represented by the woman who yielded herself to slavery will come to their senses when they finally come to the end of themselves and will choose Yah'shua (Jesus) either for the first time or because they have lost faith. I saw in my dream one such woman who, in front of the Tempter who wished her to follow him, said, no, that she would return to her Master and try to make it work. And, of course, it takes guts and courage to make a U-turn, which is itself to be admired and applauded.

After the choice, however, comes the real work, as the Prodical Son discovered, taking the proper attitude of offering himself up as the lowest hired servant in order to make things right with his father whom he had so shamelessly used and betrayed.

When we seek to compromise with the enemy and try to find our own safety, rather than choosing to try Elohim (God) with the risk of receiving difficulties and persecutions from, it's important to remind ourselves that we will still be destroyed in the same way the beast at one point throws off and kills the whore that had been on its back (Rev.17). There is NO SAFETY aligning yourself with the best system!

What if the enemy intimidates you into abandoning Yahweh, Yah'shua (Jesus) and His mitzvot (commandments) and into sin? Every Halloween celebrants are programmed into believing that resisting the enemy will lead to something bad - 'Trick or Treat'. This pagan festival teaches people to submit to threats with the promise that 'good' will follow instead of something bad. Of course, the object of all this is to get you to fear Satan more than Yahweh

The Bible gives us plenty of grounds for trusting in Yahweh when the enemy starts threatening. Consider, in the light of the state-sancioned terror that is being used against citizens today, the response of a righteous Hebrew King who would not be terrorised when his antagonist pointed out to the fate of other nations who had resisted the pagan king. 'Submit or be destroyed' was the matter-of-fact threat. But Yahweh promises a favourable outcome to those who will call upon Him in times of such evil breathings:

"The king of Assyria sent his supreme commander, his chief officer and his field commander with a large army, from Lachish to King Hezekiah at Jerusalem. They came up to Jerusalem and stopped at the aqueduct of the Upper Pool, on the road to the Washerman’s Field. They called for the king; and Eliakim son of Hilkiah the palace administrator, Shebna the secretary, and Joah son of Asaph the recorder went out to them.

"The field commander said to them, 'Tell Hezekiah: This is what the great king, the king of Assyria, says: On what are you basing this confidence of yours? You say you have the counsel and the might for war — but you speak only empty words. On whom are you depending, that you rebel against me? Look, I know you are depending on Egypt, that splintered reed of a staff, which pierces the hand of anyone who leans on it! Such is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who depend on him. But if you say to me, 'We are depending on the Yahweh our Elohim (God)' — isn’t he the one whose high places and altars Hezekiah removed, saying to Judah and Jerusalem, 'You must worship before this altar in Jerusalem'?

"'Come now, make a bargain with my master, the king of Assyria: I will give you two thousand horses — if you can put riders on them! How can you repulse one officer of the least of my master’s officials, even though you are depending on Egypt for chariots and horsemen? Furthermore, have I come to attack and destroy this place without word from Yahweh? Yahweh Himself told me to march against this country and destroy it.'

"Then Eliakim son of Hilkiah, and Shebna and Joah said to the field commander, 'Please speak to your servants in Aramaic, since we understand it. Don’t speak to us in Hebrew in the hearing of the people on the wall.'

"But the commander replied, 'Was it only to your master and you that my master sent me to say these things, and not to the people sitting on the wall — who, like you, will have to eat their own excrement and drink their own urine?'

"Then the commander stood and called out in Hebrew, 'Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria! This is what the king says: Do not let Hezekiah deceive you. He cannot deliver you from my hand. Do not let Hezekiah persuade you to trust in Yahweh when he says, ‘Yahweh will surely deliver us; this city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.’

"'Do not listen to Hezekiah. This is what the king of Assyria says: Make peace with me and come out to me. Then each of you will eat fruit from your own vine and fig tree and drink water from your own cistern, until I come and take you to a land like your own — a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive trees and honey. Choose life and not death!

"'Do not listen to Hezekiah, for he is misleading you when he says, ‘Yahweh will deliver us.’ Has the god of any nation ever delivered his land from the hand of the king of Assyria? Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim, Hena and Ivvah? Have they rescued Samaria from my hand? Who of all the gods of these countries has been able to save his land from me? How then can the Lord deliver Jerusalem from my hand?'

"But the people remained silent and said nothing in reply, because the king had commanded, 'Do not answer him.'

"Then Eliakim son of Hilkiah the palace administrator, Shebna the secretary, and Joah son of Asaph the recorder went to Hezekiah, with their clothes torn, and told him what the field commander had said" (2 Ki.18:17-19:37. NKJV).

Well, we know what the outcome was, because of the faith of Hezekiah:

"That night the malak (angel) of Yahweh went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand men in the Assyrian camp. When the people got up the next morning-there were all the dead bodies! So Sennacherib king of Assyria broke camp and withdrew. He returned to Nineveh and stayed there. One day, while he was worshiping in the temple of his god Nisroch, his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer cut him down with the sword, and they escaped to the land of Ararat. And Esarhaddon his son succeeded him as king" (2 Ki.19:35-37, NIV).

There is no fear for those rooted in b'rit-ahavah (covenant-love) in emet (truth) in Yah'shua (Jesus) our Messiah - they have the same promises and assurances as Hezekiah! Those who do not, who feast away like Belshazzar, mocking Yahweh-Elohim, know what they can expect:

"That very night Belshazzar, king of the Babylonians, was slain, and Darius the Mede took over the kingdom" (Dan.5:30-31, NIV).
