1.1 Marriage in the Bible is sacred, set-apart, holy, and eternal and is a type or allegory of the intense relationship that should exist between Yahweh (our Heavenly Father) and the people of Israel, and now between Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) and the Messianic Community (the Church, New Covenant Israel) who are the redeemed.

1.2 It is with this model of the Mystical Marriage of Messiah taught in the New Testament that we interpret all human marriage in Messiah on this website as being the fullest and highest exposition of Yahweh's revelation for the marriage estate.

1.3 It is therefore defined and regulated by the Holy Scriptures, the Bible, and is the same today as it was at the beginning of time, even if some less than perfect forms may have appeared, owing to man's sin, in the period inbetween.

1.4 This fullness of marriage is, we firmly believe, from the very heart of Elohim (God) Himself.
