    A Kenyan Pastor on
    Celibacy, Monogamy
    and Polygamy
    by HW

ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN CELIBATE? ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN MONOGAMOUS BELIEVER? ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN POLYGAMOUS BELIEVER? Peace and grace be unto you in Jesus Messiah's name AMEN.

No one is justified because he or she believes in monogamous marriage neither is anyone justified because he or she believes in Christian Polygamous Marriage. Those Christians who cannot accept Christian Polygamy are not less Christians. Those who accept Christian Polygamy are not better than those who reject Christian Polygamy. Nevertheless if you cannot accept Christian Polygamy, do not speak evil of what others have accepted and do honor God who never spoke against polygamy even ONCE.

This doctrine of Christian Polygamy cannot be accepted by all Christians except to those it is given. God gave Adam one wife and generations afterwards the same God gave King David more than one wife (2 Samuel 12:1-8). Moreover today the same God who appointed Brother Paul to serve God without even one wife [1] is the same God who appointed others to serve God with one wife. He is the same God who called others to serve God as Polygamous.

If God used Paul or used men with one wife as well as those who are polygamous; who are we to sneer at others? God does not justify anyone of us by sneering at others. Do you have grace to serve God without marriage? Well, it is given to you by God Himself. Do you have grace to be contented with one wife?? So, live and serve God within the grace God gave to you. Some of us our tents are enlarged and our cords tightened to accommodate more than one wife. Selah!!

Comments: It is the position of HEM that Paul had to have been married at some point in order to have been a bona fide rabbi in the Judaism of his day. By the time he was called by Yahweh it is more than likely that he was either a widower or a divorcee (SBSK).
