A21. Dedicating Your Body to Christ

Your soul is sacred. It was crafted by the Cosmic Creator, Yahweh-Elohim, and its bluebrint is stored in your DNA molecules. Your physical body is a highly complex, intricate and structured vessel that sustains your life processes while you are in mortality. From the tip of your head to the soles of your feet are complex organs and organ systems which are highly integrated. They perform a wide variety of functions enabling you to think, feel and act. The whole is connected by two primary systems - the blood stream, which supplies nutrients to the building blocks of your body (the individual cells) as well as carrying away waste products for eventual disposal - and the nervous system which coordinates every part of your physical being. It has two parts - one that runs automatically without your having to worry about it (the autonomic nervous system) and another that you must control by will. The brain is the central processing union of your nervous system where decisions are made, memories stored, and where every organ of the body is controlled. Coupled to this mental activating and processing system are your feelings or emotions which are located in the centre of your heart region that arise out of your psychic body. Though the brain is the principal organ of the physical body, the psychic-spiritual body - which is invisible to the physical senses - is the origin of your will and morals. Everything that the brain computes is influenced and ultimately determined by what comes out of your psychic-spiritual body. This body plus psyche-spirit the Bible calls your Soul, or the whole Person. At death the physical body disintagrates and its components dispersed in the gound, air and water.

Your soul was made in the very image of Yahweh-Elohim, our Father in Heaven. Indeed, it is made in the image of the very Godhead, male and female. We are given a description in Genesis as to how Yahweh made the body of Adam out of the elements of the earth and then breathed in the "breath of life" (Gen.2:7). This breath is called Neshamah in the Hebrew Scriptures, a word not used very frequently in the Bible at all, appearing only 16 times elsewhere in the Old Testament. It is distinguished from the more common word Ruach which has a double meaning, referring also to air and wind. When the word Neshamah is used we are to think of it in terms of the "breath of Yahweh" (Is.30:33) whereas ruach is generally understood to refer to human breath and breathing alone. When coupled to the Hebrew Qodesh ('holy') the designation is given meaning 'Holy Breath', 'Holy Spirit' or 'Holy Ghost' and is descriptive of the third member of the Godhead. We recall following the resurrection:

"So Yah'shua (Jesus) said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit (Breath)" (John 20:21-22, NKJV).

The breath of the resurrected Yah'shua (Jesus) and the breath of our Heavenly Father, Yahweh, are virtually synonymous. But there is one difference: Yahweh gave Neshamah whereas Yah'shua (Jesus) gave Ruach (in Greek, pneuma - the Greek translation of the New Testament unfortunately makes no distinction). In reality, the word 'spirit' is 'breath' or which there are two principal kinds.

Neshamah ('Yahweh-Spirit') is the life force in every living soul and is in the blood (Lev.17:11). Ruach haQodesh ('Holy Spirit') belongs only to those who have reveived Christ through faith, and grows stronger in presence as a disciple learns obedience and sactification. This Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) literally blends with our own ruach (breath). In deliverance ministry, the breath of a Ruach haQodesh-filled minister can greatly agitate demons. On more than one occasions when demons have taken away the breath of an SRA victim with a view to suffocating him, the this Holy Ruach can immediate restore life to the lungs again.

The Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) is, moreover, not a single Ruach but seven (see Rev.1:4; 3:1; 4:5; 5:6). Christians rarely distinguish between them and lump them as one, calling them the "sevenfold Spirit of God" which is not strictly an accurate translation. Yahweh has Seven Ruach haQodesh's which are collectively called the Ruach Elohim (Spirit of God). Getting back to the Hebrew root-meanings of words is very important to deliverance ministry if it is to be done thoroughly and completely. Knowing the original construction of words removes much of the mystery and oversimplification that Christians are wont to indulge in. The subtle and ingenious abuse of our souls by Satan is best understood when we understand what it is he is minicking and twisting around, and that requires we understand better our own construction and what one might call the Godhead 'system'. These do, of course, fly in the face of the Roman Catholic-originated creeds which birthed the neo-pagan Catholic cult and its offshoots and which has made them ineffective in full deliverance, often leading their adherants to metaphorically deliver with one hand and redeomonise with the other. Western Christianity has been badly infected pagan Greek neo-Platonism which obscures many basic biblical truths. Part of our purpose will be to rip down these veils and see things as they really are.

So let's summarise - what do we now have? We have a physical body (Heb. geviyah) and a psyche-spirit called in Hebrew ruach (breath). In addition we have the life principle which is resident in the blood called Neshamah or Neshamah haQodesh which everyone is born into the world into and which demons love to plunder. And finally, for those who are grafted back into Israel and into right relationship with Yahweh our Heavenly Father through faith in His Son Yah'shua (Jesus) there is the bequest or gift of the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) (Ac.2:38; 10:45; Heb.6:4). How does the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) function in us?

"And She the Ruach (Spirit) gives testimony to our ruach (spirit) that we are sons of Elohim (God)" (Rom.8:16, Hebraic original - note that the Greek translation changes the Ruach to 'He' because this word has a different gender in that language, but not in the original Hebrew).

From this we learn that the sevenfold Ruach Elohim (Spirit of God) or Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) communicates to us through our own ruach or spirit.

We also learn that the body of flesh is supposed to become a holy Temple or Hekal of Yahweh. We read:

"Do you not know that you are the temple of God (Hekal Elohim) and that the Spirit of God (Ruach Elohim) dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God (Hekal Elohim), God (Elohim) will destroy him. For the temple of God (Hekal Elohim) is holy, which temple (Hekal) you are. But he who is joined to the Lord (Yah'shua/Jesus) is one spirit (ruach) with Him. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple (Hekal) of the Holy Spirit (Ruach haQodesh) who is in you, whom you have from God (Elohim), and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God (Elohim) in your body and in your spirit (ruach), which are God's (Elohim's)" (1 Cor.3:16-19, NKJV).

When a man or woman receives Christ, ownership of the body is transferred to Yah'shua (Jesus) who has paid the price for its redemption on the Cross. It becomes the dwelling place of the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit/Breath). The body becomes a sacred 'building' in the same was the Tabernacle of Moses was in the wilderness and the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem. In other words, it becomes a Vessel of Holiness. In a moment we shall see just what this vessel consists of, how it is laid out and what the different parts of it are for.

I wonder is you have ever converted or rennovated a house? Often this involves completely stripping down the inside, removing walls and perhaps even adding new ones. A completely rennovated house can look completely unlike the original one. Depending what culture you come from, rooms may have different functions. Poorer people tend to have only one room in many Third World countries which serves as kitchen, bedroom, living room, bathroom and study. Different houses have different arrangements. Yah'shua once remarked:

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in Elohim (God); trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going" (John 14:1-4, NIV).

This particular 'house' is the Mansion of the Messiah and has rooms for all His allegorical Bride, the redeemed. This is a big place. The Tabernacle of Moses and Temple of Solomon were, however, much simpler because they represent our bodies individually.

Our bodies are sacred and Satan knows that. But do we realise how sacred? Perhaps this reminder is timely: "If anyone defiles the temple of God (Hekal Elohim), God (Elohim) will destroy him" (Ibid.). Strong words not at all liked by your modern, liberally-minded Christian who in truth would rather explain them away in order to justify a more liberal and unconsecrated lifestyle in compromise with the world. Our bodies are now, however, ours to do with as we please. Their purpose is the same as the original Tabernacle or Temple of Israel. Having this truth properly fixed in your minds will make the process od deliverance considerably earlier and more straighforward.

I think one of the reasons Christians fail and fail again in deliverance is because they try to make an artificial distinction between 'salvation' and 'devliverance'. Everyone involved in the latter knows how tough it can be. However, alongside this is the notion there is something called 'salvation' which is much simpler - you simply 'believe' and that's it.

The word 'salvation' translates the Hebrew yah'shua (or yeshua) which means to be safe and have victory. It is related to another word, teshua, which means to 'be at ease' or 'relax'. It is used over 100 times in the Old Testament. A person who believes in Christ but it plagued by demons is hardly 'safe' or 'at ease'. They may be on the right path or track but they haven't 'made it' yet. Victory has not yet been one. How does one reconcile this with the many glorious salvation experiences that new found believers - including victims of SRA - have? And the answer is to be found in what we were discussing at the beginning of this article and concerns our spiritual orientation in the 'rooms' of our 'house', 'temple' or 'body'.

When you renovate a house you can either set about doing the whole place all at once or you can work on one room at a time. In our home we follow the latter formula because we are constrained by financial resources. One year we built a meeting room and several years later we converted an old storeroom into three bedrooms. Believers come to 'salvation' in similarly diverse ways. We shall understand these differences by taking a close look at the rooms of the original Tabernacle and Temple. It will also help us understand why deliverance comes about differently in people.

The original Tabernacle and Temple of Yahweh (before it was elaborated later by Herod and the original pattern obscured) consisted of two rooms and a courtyard. One gate led to the temple area on the east side. Inside the gate was the Court of the Assembly or Congregation. Only those under covenant (ritually clean Israelies) were allowed to enter that area. In this compound was the Altar of Burnt Offering and a Laver. Beyond these two objects was the temple-proper into which only the priests (kohanim) could enter. The first room was called The Holy Place or Hekal and contained three objects: a lampstand (seven-armed menorah), the shewbread table, and the altar of incense. Separated from this room by a thick veil was a second room known as the Holy of Holies or Debir. Only the High Priest (Kohen gadol) after the Order of Aaron was allowed to enter it once a year at Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. It was perfectly cuboid, had no natural light, and contained only one object: the Ark of the Covenant that contained a pot of manna, Aaron's rod and the Tablets of the Law. It faced west. It was here that Moses communed with Yahweh directly.

These two rooms and the outer courtyard are, in the New Covenant of Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ), representations of sacred space within our own physical bodies which, you will remember, is holy, sacred, purchased by Christ at Calvary, and a vessel of the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit).

Today every believer is becoming a Royal Priest of the King (Yah'shua/Jesus) (1 Pet.2:9) and Yah'shua (Jesus) is his High Priest after the Order of Melchizedek (Heb.5-6). Every believer has direct access to the Holy of Holies now because of the work of the Christ on the Cross, symbolised by the ripping of the veil when He died (Mt.27:51; Mk.15:38; Lk.23:45). I choose ther word 'access' delibrately because when a person is properly submitted in Christ he does not own his 'Holy of Holies' - why? Because it is the throne room. If Christ is truly his Lord and Master, then he may approach the Father Yahweh who has sat His Son down on His right side - on His Throne (Heb.8:1; 12:2; Rev.5:1,7).

Every soul has a Throne Room or a Holy of Holies and every soul has an Ark with a Mercy Seat. This room in each soul was built so that Yahweh, our Heavenly Father, could be seated in majesty through the Messiah Yah'shua (Jesus). An unsaved person (in the most basic sense of the word) has enthroned himself or Satan. In the Debir of the psyche-spirit of an unsaved person is enthroned the Ego or Self. It sits on the mercy seat and has its own tablet of laws which are usually contradictory. When a person is truly saved and has invited Yah'shua (Jesus) into his heart, Yah'shua (Jesus) is sitting on the Mercy Seat of the Ark of the Covenant as Yahweh's representative and the Tablets of the Law are that soul's rule of life - the Ten Commandments. A person who is truly saved has enshrined the Ten Commandmeents on his heart and obeys them to honour the King, Yah'shua (Jesus). Together they represent the twin arms of the Gospel - loving Yahweh-Elohim with might, mind and strength, and loving your neighbour as yourself. The first basic evidence that a soul is saved is obedience to the Ten Commandments yet you would be surprised how selective the vast majority of Christians are. The majority are not obeying the Ten Commandments and in so not doing are evidencing that Yah'shua (Jesus) is not fully on the throne of their lives! They may be surrendered to Him in their heads but in their hearts they are not because they are living a lifestyle inconsistent with true salvation - they have watered down the Gospel. And that is why when they go to Yahweh for guidance they very often find that Yah'shua (Jesus) is not present.

The Ten Commandments define how we are administering our temple-bodies and so they are critically important. When we obey them properly we are showing true love to God and man. When we are not we are showing contempt for one or the other, or both. And that is why prayers often are not answered. It is hypocrisy to claim Yah'shua (Jesus) as Lord and disobey Him. This is what He said:

"But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say? Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great" (Luke 6:46-49, NKJV).

"The ruin of that house was great" ... and Christians wonder why their lives are a mess when they do not build on the true foundation of Torah (Law). It's why deliverance is so often hampered. It's why demons continue to remain. Yah'shua (Jesus) further said:

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness (torahlessness)!" (Matt.7:21-23, NKJV).

You see, even deliverance ministers aren't guaranteed salvation if they are lawless! Those who disobey may think they are hearing Yahweh and may think they have a relationship with Yahweh but Yah'shua (Jesus) says they are unknown to Him - strangers, imposters. Those who are truly saved witness that salvation in their obedience to Torah, of which the Ten Commandments in the Ark of the Covenant are a summary of all the other laws. If you are not obeying the Ten Commandments then something else - a counterfeit law (or maybe no law at all) is residing in your Throne. And if that is the case, I can guarantee it is not Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) sitting on the Throne of your Debir but a counterfeit. Then your Debir has become your spiritual coffin.

The Throne Room is the heart of the soul. If that is properly in place, everything else tends to follow more or less effortlessly. The truth and reality is, sadly, that most Christians have not got their Throne Rooms in order. Worse, these people are attempting to do deliverance ministry, as Yah'shua (Jesus) said they would do, and are leading their clients into their own lawlessness and rebellion.

The Throne Room was designed to be Yahweh's and Yahweh's alone. If you set it up wrong then you will have intruders in there. It might be yourself, if might be demons, or it might be Satan himself if you have given your soul to him. And if Satan is on your throne, then the Ten Commandments will have been replaced by the occultic counterfeit: "Love is the whole law: love under will" - that is, human will as opposed to God. Then the mark on that throne is truly 666.

Satan does not, however, get access to the throne all in one go. It is usually gradual. So I am going to skip the other room for the moment and take you to the courtyard. This was where the congregation of Israel was supposed to assemble on the Sabbath day - the seventh day (one of the Ten Commandments). In the New Covenant this is the sacred space in your body where godly soul ties can be formed with other redeemed souls. It is into this part of your psyche-spirit that you can safely welcome those who are covered by the blood of Christ as friend, brothers and sisters. Such a soul-tie existed between David and Jonathan. But that is the limit - you are not allowed to form soul-ties with unbelievers. The world was strictly excluded from this area. The apostle James said:

"Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with Elohim (God)? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of Elohim (God). Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Ruach (Spirit) who dwells in us yearns jealously"?" (James 4:4-5, NKJV).

When you befriend people in the world and establish soul-ties, you bring unbelievers into the area reserved for the assembly of Israel - for believers alone. You are defiling your soul. We may have acquaintances in the world but when we form intimate connections with them, even if it is only on the psychic level, we are defiling our temples and opening a door to demons. And you can well imagine what happens when you have sexual contact with them. Indeed, the verses immediately before say:

"Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. Adulterers and adulteresses!" (James 4:1-4, NKJV).

What do we turn to the world for usually? Entertainment and pleasure. Here the seeds of sin are sown. We are not supposed to be a part of it but to interact in it only to earn our daily bread (if we have to) and to witness. Until this is understood, then the whole concept of holiness (separation) will be totally missed and Christians will be plagued by demons. Yah'shua did not revoke separation between Israel and the world - only between races which distinguished Old Covenant Israel from the heathen nations. The wall of partition between Jew and Greek (Gal.3:27; Rom.10:12) has gone but not between what is holy and what is defiled.

Now this Court of the Assembly of Israel contained, we must remember, two ritual items in the Old Covenant - first, an alter of burned offering, and second, a laver consisting of a huge water-filled basin supported by 12 oxen representing the 12 tribes of Israel. This area is a place of purifiation, not of defilement with the world! The area outside the camp represents destruction. Our friends, to make soul-ties with us that are godly, must be purified in the blood of the Lamb.

The Hekal of 'Holy Place' was only a place for the Priests (Kohen). In it were, as we have already seen, the mystical lampstand or Menorah, the shewbread table, and the altar of incense. In the case of an unmarried woman, only her father (who is her blood-covered head) may have access here, and then only in a limited capacity, for this room is reserved for her future husband. Here one of then most sacred soul-ties is made in the covenant and act of marriage. Not surprisingly, having got a believer to create soul-ties with the unsaved, his next ambition is to defile this room in the soul by ungodly sex. Not surprisingly satanists are particular about getting fathers to defile their daughters by making them usurp the husband's rôle instead of protecting this sacred space for her future lawful husband in Christ. Also this is another reason why Christians are not supposed to marry unbelievers (2 Cor.6:14) for to do so is to bring the heathen - with their demons - into the Hekal of Yahweh! Such a woman must be constantly alert to possibly contemination whereas she was built by Yahweh to be perfectly submissive to her godly husband in all things knowing that he is her spiritual covering and safety from the invisible world of darkness. This is also the room where the spirit of her unborn child is given sanctuary whilst in the womb to which it can retreat after birth until finally it comes to dwell in the Court of the Assembly of Israel with other blood-purchased believers.

Thus the soul is partitioned into three areas:

    • (1) The Holy of Holies (Debir) or Throne room for Yahweh alone through Yah'shua (Jesus) our intercessor;
    • (2) The Holy Place (Hekal) for a woman's husband-in-Christ and to a limited extent her unborn and young children; and
    • (3) The Court of the Assembly of Israel for blood-redeemed brethren and sisters in Christ.

What of the men? The Hekal is his inner sanctuary or holy place, which his father has limited access to as his head but which becomes exclusively his, and his blood-covered wife by invitation, upon marriage. Here they worship together. He, in his turn, has full access to his wife's Hekal which no other living soul may so have. It is one of the deeper mysteries of the Gospel which Paul alludes to (Eph.5:21-32). Satan's lust to destroy this sacred space is the more readily understood, therefore. Marriage, after Yahweh, is the most sacred and intimate relationship we have. Very often mothers and fathers will intrude into this Hekal in order to retain control after marriage which creates ungodly soul-ties psychically which must be broken in deliverance. These rooms do not 'belong' to parents. They belong to their owners.

When you become a believer, all of these areas - the two rooms and the court - should be dedicated to Yahweh through the blood of Yah'shua (Jesus). This is especially important for those who are victims of SRA whose inner rooms have previously been dedicated to Satan and have become a habitation of demons. There are examples in the Bible of the Temple being rededicated after defilement following apostacy. This we should do as believers and indeed is something we are supposed to do annually during one of Yahweh's Moedim or Appointments which the majority of Christians have rejected but which are a part of New Covenant Israel. Rather than go into this in detail here, you are referred to the several links in this article as this is a subject that could fill a whole book.

As each of these three areas has doors, each implies an openness and vulnerability. The true use of the Debir implies complete openness and surrender to Yahweh through Yah'shua (Jesus). The true use of the Hekal implies an openness on the part of both husband and wife - complete submission to her husband in Torah, and Torah-condition love by the husband for his wife. Both imply vulnerability. Finally, openness to blood-purchased brothers and sisters in Christ in the Court of the Assembly of Israel.

In Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA) these rooms get shattered, dupilicated, partitioned and completely jumbled up. But not just SRA victims, but anyone not in Christ and not walking in the sacred pattern of holy living. Spiritual rennovation takes time. The soul needs stripping of all that is ungodly and unclean and that is why everyone has a wilderness period. It's not easy and it can be painful. Things we enjoyed in our unredeemed state, with which we have grown comfortable and into which we may derive some form of artificial security, have to go. The brain needs reprogramming to think as Yahweh thinks, feelings need reprogramming to flow in holiness and purity. The whole inner man (or woman) has to be completely reorientated. And this takes time. Demons do linger because we cling on to pet-sins or because we have been taught false doctrines. It's a struggle, and usually life-long, but as the old clutter gets removed, so the soul more readily breathes the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit). And because we have a tendency to slip back into old habits, Yahweh has provided cycles of renewal in His festivals. In them there is spiritual systematics. They were designed to match our original internal construction whereas false systems (originated in Catholicism for the most part, and borrowed from paganism) destroy it and leave the soul anchorless. Yahweh's ways are always the best.

So it is not just a matter of expelling demons - the whole inner man has to be restructured. The speed it does so is a function of faith and obedience. More could be said on this subject but it is a very large one and currently beyond my scope to address in detail at present because of time restraints but hopefull at some future time we will be able to look at the various implements in the Temple Rooms and find their spiritual equivalents in our souls. In the meantime, I encourage you to rededicate your bodies and to ask Yahweh to replan and structure them in the manner ordained and as revealed in the Tablernacle and Temple of Solomon. Be sure to do a thoriugh deliverance first, as well as restructuring your social life so that you are living in conformity to the commandments. Break all ungodly soul-ties. Cleanse the Debir, Hekal and Court of the Assembly of Israel and ask Yahweh's Ruach (Spirit) to flood all the areas. Declare this space holy (set-apart) to Yahweh and His set-apart people (the Court).

This is something I did a long time ago and redo every now and then, particularly at Yom Kippur. I will share one experience which I hope will be encouring to those of you embarking on this for the first time.

About a year ago when I was doing so high-level deliverance work with a client, billed by the Illuminati to do some satanic 'works and wonders' preparatory to the advent of the Antichrist, I was subject to an introject by five satanists. Introjection is a form of astral projection in which the person projecting actually enters the body of the one who is the object of attack (in this case, me). These five persons had entered my Hekal or or Debir (I don't know which). One was advancing on me with the intent of killing me when the Ruach (Spirit) told me to say: "You are standing in a Temple of Yahweh". This caused them to pause for a second before again advancing towards me, whereupon the Ruach (Spirit) once again inspired me to speak: "Your heads are separated from your bodies!" All five died before my eyes, dissolved, and disappeared.

If your Temple - your Body - is properly dedicated and held pure, you have the right to demand Yahweh's judgment on intruders, since it is His Space. This is wonderful protection indeed.
