The very same day that I prepared Delivering a Demonised Alter: Doing It, it was my privilege and joy to minister and witness the complete deliverance of both a counsellee and very dear friend. Though she had been through deliverance on one previous occasion it was never properly done, most of the more powerful demons being left untouched, on account of the blind-spots of the minister who had tried before. The failure was primarily on account of the fact that this minister had wrongly and idolatrously placed himself as a Christ-substitite in the mind and heart of the victim, claiming to be an intermediary to God on her behalf, a form of spiritual abuse which actually created more problems than it solved, as we shall presently see.
The minister, for reasons known only to himself, but which I am now persauded are because of a demonic problem of his own, refused to complete the deliverance process and abandoned his patient. This deep sense of rejection and hopelessness caused her to fragment further into more alters and subsequently resulted in the admission of more demons as the dark alters within her assumed more and more control. This woman then placed herself into the hands of another deliverance minister who, inspite of assurances to me that he would minister to her, never lifted a finger once to help her, and finally dismissed her altogether.
It was during this time that I came to know Rose (whom I mistakenly believed, in the beginning, was the core alter) and began the long and arduous, though very satisfying, process of converting a number of key alters to Christ by means of deliverance, including Vixen, Tomma, and Shammashiel. It turned out that Rose had very little control or knowledge of what was going on and she fairly early on faded out of the picture. It was during this time that I came to know the core alter whom I shall call Carol.
My relationship with Carol was stormy at first. Very self-willed, and though claiming to be on the Light side and in a relationship with Christ, visions shown me by the Lord revealed that she was still highly demon possessed as her spiritual instability subsequently proved. By the intervention of Yahweh she was saved from placing her life in jeopardy amongst Satanists after being unceremoniously rejected by her second minister who, though promising to look after her for as long as she wanted, broke his word and packed her off to a family many hundreds of miles away who had no knowledge of MPD, nor belief in it, for that matter. After many months of ups and down, Carol decided that she wanted her homelessness and demonic nightmare to come to an end and agreed to recommit herself to Christ and go through deliverance.
She was initially very scared - scared that the demons would rip her to pieces, scared that the deliverance would fail, scared that she might not be able to manage. After much reassurance on my part that the power of the evil one would not be able to prevail against the omnipotent power of Christ, we set about preparing the room she was in by sealing it off from Satanic interference. My mistake, as will be seen in a moment, was in not sealing off the whole house at the same time, as this was not her home and as it turns out the owners, though Christians, had legal grounds for Satan to interfere outside the room.
Carol was fully prepared for what would happen and shortly after getting into the deliverance session, she came under such ferocious attack from the demons inside that she felt nauseous. Both the demons and dark alters began yelling at her in a bid to arouse as much fear and doubt as they possibly could. Mid-way she began to waiver slightly but at length rallied spiritually and we moved on. To my surprise the prayers of demon expulsion did not work until we attended to generational curses. Once these were broken, she at once experienced a great release and freedom within, as she watched the demons departing one by one. She was amazed at her new found liberation. The session over, and Carol completely emptied of demons, we started to relax ... prematurely, as it turned out.
The next thing that happened was that two demons, whom she was able to see with her naked eye, appeared in the adjacent room and began to smash the place up (poltergeists). I told her to cast them out in Yah'shua's (Jesus') Name by the power of His blood but her attempts failed. At once the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) said to me: "Tell her to plead the blood of Christ over the whole house and then expell them." This she did, the demons fled, and the work of physical destruction immediately stopped.
I turned out that those demons had legal grounds to be in the rest of the house but not in the room which had been spiritually sealed by us and where the deliverance had taken place. But once Carol intervened and invoked the atonement of Christ over the whole building, she had access to them and could cast them out.
The sudden loss of demons provoked intense anger amongst the dark alters within, deprived now as they were of their evil power and influence over Carol. It had been they who, manipulating the undismantled Molech stronghold of which the first minister had been entirely ignorant, had led her into a near fatal situation. That was now gone. Though I had vaguely hoped for an integration of the alters at the same time as deliverance, it was soon clear that other work yet needed to be done. One of the Light alters broke down into tears and an idolatry was revealed to her directly by Yahweh Himself speaking audibly to her which she reluctantly but obediently relinquished.
The healing process will likely take a little more time as both the Light and Dark alters confront various issues free of demonic influence. They will face temptations and the infinitely more difficult task of Christian discipleship and all the readjustments that that requires. No doubt there will be minor setbacks from time to time, as is the lot of all the sons and daughters of Christ stumbling through this dark veil of mortality, but the major victory has now most certainly been won. Devils will attempt to regain admission but so long as Carol is diligent in prayer, scripture study, and good works, placing her entire faith in Christ, she will not only get stronger and stronger spiritually but ultimately win the prize.
What SRA victims, and indeed, any with demonic problems need to realise, is that they can do their own deliverance with some prayer support and guidance. What they do not need is human beings interposing themselves idolatrously as God and demanding the kind of worship and adoration that is reserved for Him alone.
Carol has not only been horribly abused in the past but also badly let town by ministers claiming to be Christian - ministers who knew about MPD and had some experience of it. Sufferers of MPD face so many mountains of disbelief in the Christian community, itself infiltrated by Satan who wishes believers to disbelieve in a personal devil and demons. Carol's story is not over - indeed, it has just begun. I hope that you, the reader, will lift up a prayer for her from time to time as her new life in Christ begins.
