This is one of the most commonly used banners in NCAY and has both served as a General Banner for the whole Messianic Evangelical Community (1992-1996) as well as for individual congregations when it was known as the New Covenant Christian Fellowship (NCCF). It was retained by NCAY after the reorganisation of 1996 for use in dependent local assemblies or Missions. Fully organised Local Branches use the same basic pattern but (formerly) with a Melchizedek Logo in the centre of the cross until the latter was discontinued in 2009, and now with the Lion logo in the upper hoist.

This, the simplest of all NCAY banners, has been the most popular of all NCAY banners and remains in widespread use not only by Missions but by Branches and Central Assemblies where the resources to make the more complex banners of the latter are hard to get.
