On Midnight Prayer
It had been suggested that midnight prayer was highly advantageous to the saints because there was an abundance of the Holy Spirit at that time. This doctrine is refuted in the following revelation which shows that God's Spirit is available in its fullness at any time and is only limited by the condition of a man's inner soul. There are no times and seasons inthe spiritual realms [Cranleigh, Surrey, England].
1. If a man desireth to pray at midnight, or at any other time, let him do so, for it matterth not unto the Lord thy God when a man prayeth.
Retire to Bed and Arise Early
2. Nevertheless I have already told you that ye should retire to bed early and arise early that your bodies may be refreshed. Let he who hath ears hear.
3. Never at any time have I commanded My people to worship at midnight for I have never given a temporal commandment unto you -- neither you nor those since the days of Adam.
An Old Jewish Tradition
4. It is an old Jewish tradition that teacheth the advantage of midnight prayer, for some suppose that My Spirit is in greater abundance at that time.
5. But verily, verily, I say unto you, what is midnight?
6. One man's midnight is another man's midday -- shall I deny one man the choicest blessings of the Spirit because of time of day, or of the month?
Times and Seasons Belong to the Earth
7. Behold, there are times and seasons upon the earth by which a man may ob- tain blessings, but the highest of all is not constrained by time, but cometh and goeth according to the will of the Father.
8. He who teacheth that I, the Lord, am limited by times and seasons is of the earth;
9. But he who teacheth that the fullness of My grace and power is availableto obedient and repentant man at all times is of Heaven, and it shall go well with him.
The Light is Within
10. The Light is within you; cleave unto it with all your hearts, having no regard for time.
11. The farmer observeth the seasons, for his craft is of the earth;
12. But the son or daughter of God hath no seasons to watch, for that which is of Heaven is timeless, yea, for all things are continually present in the highest kingdom of all.
Live Under Grace
13. Be wise, do not unnecessarily burden the saints like the Scribes {Torah-teachers} and Pharisees of old, but live under grace.
14. I, the Lord, have broken the bonds of time that ye might return unto the heavenly ways;
15. Therefore cease to think and act as the world thinketh, yea, and the traditions of the fallen churches, but pattern your minds after the Heavenly Mind. Amen.
