To Pastors and Teachers
An extract of a revelation addressed principally to the Priesthood offices of Pastor and Teacher -- instructions to individuals have been omitted. The ministry should ever be mindful of the temple covenants they have entered into. The Church of God will be continually cleansed to keep it pure. Pastors should not be dreamers but men filled with a zeal for, and love of, God. They will be weighed like the rest of the Priesthood. Pastors are responsible for ensuring that the Deaconate is properly educated in the way of the Kingdom. Many investigators of the Church at this time were driven away by the bad behaviour of the Elders and other officers. The New Beatitudes [Oppsal, Oslo, Norway].
1. Let those who have been called to enter into My Holy House {Temple} prepare themselves in all things, saith the Lord, purifying and cleansing body and spirit as living temples.
2. I shall reveal many more keys but only as ye are able to receive discipline.
The Church will be Cleansed
3. Therefore I shall purify and cleanse the Church of God, saith the Lord, that she may be prepared for her endowments.
4. If the Church will not repent and discipline herself she shall not be called into My Temple, but must wait, that the pure wine of truth is not spilled out of broken vessels.
The Cost of Sin
5. That which ye lose which ye ought not to have lost ye must pay for, saith the Lord, for the ordinances of My House are not for the slothful and disobedient, nor the scornful.
6. I have told you before that this is a day of choosing: therefore choose ye now and walk the better way.
Leaders are not Dreamers
7. I have not called dreamers to be the pastors of My people but those who are filled with the zeal of the Lord of Hosts and the pure love of Christ.
A Winnowing Fork
8. Behold, I come with a winnowing fork in My hand, and none shall escape My thrashing until they are obedient and pliant.
Pastors will be Proved
9. And this I will do to prove them, saith the Lord, to see whether they love the praises of God better than the praises of men, that I may smash their false idols and [false] hope, and work within them a new work that bringeth salvation; for the old works bring stagnation and death.
10. He who is not yoked unto My Cross is not worthy of Me, for salvation is in the work of the Cross and in no work of men.
The Deaconate to be Educated
17. Let them perfect, and become sanctified by, the ministry of the Deac- onate, praising and serving their Saviour with their whole mind, might and strength.
18. And in this they shall become strong. But if they do not do these things they shall fall;
19. And what I say unto one, or unto a few, I say unto all, for I am no respector of persons, saith the Lord.
Chastisement Saves the Soul
20. For all shall be chastised; and un- less they bear their stripes, they shall not be saved.
21. My House is a House of order, saith the Lord, for I am a God of order.
The True Way
22. Strait and narrow is the way that leadeth unto eternal life, and he that seeketh a wide road, and will not hearken unto the Bridegroom, shall be lost, for the way of man is death, and bringeth only the recompense {reward} of sin.
Many Souls Unnecessarily Driven Away
23. And ye have already done much damage, for I purposed to send many unto you.
24. But they, seeing the unsanctified nature of those who were in authority, were turned away, back from whence they came.
25. The souls of men are precious in My sight, saith the Lord, and woe, woe, unto any man who despoileth one of these who, having taken My name upon him- self, dishonoureth Me in front of them.
26. I am quick to forgive if ye will repent, and shall restore you into full fellowship with Me as ye do what I say unto you.
27. Learn My doctrine and perform your duties with diligence and love, learn- ing to serve your fellow man as befits a disciple of your Lord. Let each soul put his hands to the tasks which need doing, not waiting to be asked, but ever being eager to be a servant.
The New Beatitudes
28. Ye have done well in your [Sabbath] Schools, and your little ones shall be blessed because ye have desires to nurchure them in the truth.
29. Blessed are the teachers in Zion, for their reward shall be great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
30. Blessed are those who will listen and learn pure doctrine from the mouths of the prophets, for they shall be enlarged and rejoice daily in Christ their Saviour.
31. Blessed is he who is humble and full of love, for all things shall be possible for him.
32. Blessed are those who are faithful, for they shall never be alone, but the children of the Kingdom shall be their companions forever.
33. Blessed are those who do not doubt, for they shall not be overturned, but shall abide in Me1.
34. Blessed are those who come unto Me and make no man their god, for they shall be safe always and shall be with Me in the Kingdom of My Father.
35. Go your way in peace, beloved ones, and return in peace, and then theKingdom shall always remain in you. Amen.
