A Warning Against Gnosticism
There was much pride in the early Church with some arrogantly saying that they were "above" the milk Gospel of Jesus Christ and no longer needed to live a simple life of faith. Some of them were showing Gnostic tendencies, and regarded wisdom and spiritual principles as being higher than Christ Himself. As a result they showed little or no interest in preaching salvation in Christ, which is the mission of the outer Church (local Colonies) but wished only to obtain knowledge to consume upon their own lusts. Denied access to the deeper mysteries and to the Holy Order because of their lack of faith only widened the gap between those truly born again in Christ and the neo-Gnostics. The latter eventually departed, mosly in 1992 though some before. Men and women areequal before Christ and should treat each other as such even though man has a presidential responsibility. The true order of prayer: the saints are to pray to the Father in the Name of the Son, Jesus. Cursed is the man who gives strong drinks to little children. The pseudo-Gnostic doctrine, which is typically occult, maintains that there are two contradictory laws -- one higher for the "elect" and one "lower" for the masses -- and is repudiated by the Lord. There is one law, one faith, one truth, one baptism, one Church, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, even though there are different Orders. The reason the wicked create two disjunctive gospels is so that they can conceal their wickedness from general scrut- iny. This is called a "secret combination" in the revelations. The saints have been tested in this matter. Though traditional forms of persecution are present in all ages, the principal form today is against the mind. Knowledge in the modern age is power. Therefore the saints are urged to get knowledge so as not to be deceived. Accordingly the New Covenant Church of God has always laid stress upon the importance of a good scriptural education. The original revelation has been divided into two and the second part follows this one [Århus, Denmark].
1. Concerning the several Schools of the Prophets (Priesthood Schools) in the Church of God:
Men and Women Labour Together in the Priesthood Schools
2. Let the men and women labour together in these schools, the one gender not supposing that it is greater [than theother], for in the work of the Gospel all are equal partakers and teachers of salvation.
3. Let all be called according to their gifts and labour diligently within their callings, for before the throne of grace there is neither male nor female, black nor white, rich nor poor, bond nor free.
Pray to the Father
4. Thou shalt pray unto the Father in the Name of the Son; and if ye were call- ed to pray to the Son or to the Holy Spirit I would have told you so.
5. Ye have the pattern in the Bible and in the revelations that I have brought forth in this Covenant.
6. Therefore go not awhoring after false gospels and false doctrines which divide the mind and heart from all that is pure and holy.
Alcohol and Children
7. Cursed be the man or woman who giveth strong drinks or any other harmful substance unto children, saith the Lord, for if any defile these My little ones it would be better that they had not been born.
8. And any who do such things in My Name, and repent not, shall be cast down into hell where the fire burneth and ceaseth not.
9. Blessed is the man or woman who is obedient unto My commandments, on whose hearts the Gospel hath been written.
One Law, not Two
10. Let none excuse themselves, saying: "One law hath been given unto us and one unto you; let us live according to our law and we shall allow you to live yours," for I am the Lord, and I am One, and My Laws are One.
11. Behold, there is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism;
12. There is not one faith for the inner Church and one faith for the outer;
13. For there is one God, and one Mediator, the Lord Jesus Christ.
14. Wilt thou say in thy heart that there is one God for the outer Church and one God for the inner Church?
15. Or one Saviour for the outer Church and a second Saviour for the inner Church?
16. Shall a man have faith in one Lord in the outer Church and a second Lord in the inner?
17. And shall a man be baptised into one Christ in the inner Church, and into a second Christ in the outer?
Wicked Combinations
18. O the wickedness and foolishness of men who seek to divide God, that they may justify their transgressions, casting a veil around their iniquities and devising secret combinations {plans}!
19. Verily, verily, I say unto you, that the inner is the same as the outer save that it is deeper, and purer, and holier; for the inner differeth only from the outer in degree.
The Inner is not without the Outer
20. There are many who have used the concept of an inner Church to conceal their wickedness from the outer Church, yea, and they seek every opportunity to mock and revile the outer Church.
21. By this key ye shall know who are of Me and who are not.
22. I have already told you that the inner is not without the outer, nor the outer without the inner, even as the man is not without the woman, or the Fatherwithout the Son, or the spirit without the body.
23. Therefore use your wisdom, ye saints of the New Covenant, and do not be fooled by the craftiness of the evil one, who seeketh to divide and confuse that he might conquer.
The New Covenant Tested
24. I say these things to you now to warn you of false doctrines that have been, and shall be, sent unto you [by the devil] to test you.
25. Seek for intelligence and love and ye shall not be led astray.
The War Against the Mind
26. Behold, the persecutions in your day are unlike the persecutions of the past, for Satan warreth against the mind as like no time previously.
27. Whatsoever the Light bringeth forth, darkness shall counteract. And this is so in all things.
28. Therefore get learning by study and by faith, that ye may resist the darts of the adversary with power.
Knowledge is Power
29. Knowledge is power, and whosoever knoweth God hath power to overcome the enemy.
30. Seek, and ye will find, for I am the diligent rewarder of those who come searching for My Light and Truth. Amen
