Section 112
On Responsibility and Spiritual Growth
This revelation, and several others like it, explains the psychology of salvation. We have a childish tendency to run away from responsibility, preferring to abdicate in favour of giving such responsibility to others. There will always be two types of Christians: the followers (those who follow the Aaronic/Zadokian pattern) and the doers (the Melchizedek/Enochian). Growing up is a painful experience for many who are unwilling to make the transition. Therefore they remain as children in adult bodies, refusing to acknowledge the real world of suffering around them. Various escape mechanisms are invoked that are an unconscious desire to return to the warmth and comfort of the womb. Those who do this consciously are in rebellion against the Light of Christ and create an emotional and spiritual limbo for themselves where there is neither joy nor suffering. This is in many ways worse than hell (Rev.3:6). The power of the resurrection (Cross) provides the means to come out of such a condition provided there is faith and a willingness to change. Helping those with this problem is very much a calling of the Elders who must be able to discern the spirits [Rødeløkka, Oslo, Norway].
1. Q. What should a man do when he is encompassed with sorrows that weigh him down, or is cold and empty because he has fled his sorrows?
2. A. Such a man must claim the victory of the Cross, for whosoever hath given his life unto Me shall receive all that I, the Son of Man, have.
3. If a man receiveth Me he shall also receive the victory of the Cross, and proclaim it in his life.
4. Verily, verily I say unto you, that he who claimeth the victory of the Son hath also the victory in his own life, which victory filleth the void of coldness and beareth the sorrows of the world with strength.
Draw Near to Christ
5. As a man draweth closer unto Me he shall receive a two-fold endowment, which is joy and sorrow -- joy, because he knoweth his Lord, and sorrow because of the sins of the world.
6. He who receiveth one but not the other hath not comprehended the Christ but is as a babe in either an inner world of innocence and ignorance, or is a sinner in need of a Saviour.
Childish Adults
7. There are many who behold Me as through a child's eyes, yet wearing the mantle of spiritual innocence because they are unwilling to bear the burdens of mortality.
8. They have a form of the Christ, loving Me as a child [loves], but they only know Me in part.
9. Verily it is better to know Me as a child than not at all, but it is better still tocast away childish robes and to take up one's cross, bearing the burdens and responsibilities of the world as a true son or daughter of Christ (1 Cor.13:11).
10. He who cometh unto Me as a child shall be nurchured as a child, but he who cometh unto Me as an adult shall be nurchured as an adult, and know all things.
11. Most men and women are childish in some things and adult in others, supposing the two are the same, not discerning the difference.
12. It is only by the example of the adult and mature that the child-nature discerneth the adult; and he shall desire it or flee from it according to his strength and courage.
The Weak-Hearted
13. For most are weak-hearted, saith the Lord, and are too afraid to cast off the robes of youth, and must therefore remain as children.
14. Nevertheless they are no longer innocent for they are no longer children in the flesh, their spiritual vessels having been enlarged according to immutable law, that they might receive greater things.
15. But their vessels remain empty, for they will not fill them.
16. And thus little boys and girls dwell in the tabernacles of men and women [respectively], and are without increase.
Responsibility and Adulthood
17. There are many in the Church who will not allow themselves to grow into the full measure of their foreordination because they are afraid of the responsibilities of adulthood.
18. But if they will reach out in faith, not doubting, and receive their calling in humility and trust, they shall surely be enlarged and blessed.
The World of Suffering
19. The world in which ye live is a vale of suffering and tears; those who apprehend and comprehend it, by choice or by force [of circumstances], are enlarged by it.
20. And for this cause were the sons and daughters of Adam sent into the world.
21. But those who will not enter it, hiding away from it as though they had not separated themselves from their First Estate1, cannot be enlarged by it, and must remain as though they were not born into the world.
Fleeing to Mother
22. It is the natural disposition of men and women to flee to the comfort and safety of their mother's womb when they are afraid. This they cannot do literally and so they must do so in token.
23. Those who are afraid of their spiritual heritage and calling seek to return to the spiritual womb, which is the First Estate. This they cannot do literally and so they must do so inwardly.
Melchizedek and Aaronic Laws
24. Such persons must be guided outwards by the spiritual fathers and mothers of Zion {Elders and Eldresses}, and this is the especial calling of the Enochian Priesthood (Eldership).
25. Spiritual infants are more disposed towards the Zadokian Law, prefering the breast of the prophets and Moses-men to that of the Father.
26. It is the tendency of most men and women to flee into an inner childish sphere when they feel they are unable tobear the burdens and responsibilities of the word.
Limbo and Hell
27. And if they do not do this, comprehending this action, they flee into an inner world of non-existence which is neither adult nor childish, which some are wont to call "limbo", being suspended in a cold world of nothingness, where all feelings have departed.
28. Behold, this is a degree of hell, where a portion of the spirit cannot live, but must remain behind.
29. It is hard to arise from this world or sphere, and the one thus imprisoned there must be coaxed out by love and be invited into the bosom of spiritual parents.
The Victory of the Cross
30. It is better to become as a child than to descend into limbo, or hell, but it is better still to receive the victory of the Cross and continue courageously in the world of your probation.
31. Such saints enter into their Melchizedek (Enochian) endowment and are able to comprehend the calling of that Priesthood, which is to be a father or mother unto all people who will hear the Gospel.
Discerning the Spirits
32. They are able to discern the spirits and can adapt themselves to the spiritual language and understanding of those to whom they are ministering.
33. They must of necessity be spirit- ually mature and able to comprehend the nature of man in both its glorified and fallen states.
34. The Zadokian Law of Christ administereth the law of commandments {the calling of the Deacons and Deaconesses} but the Enochian Law of Christ administereth the inner keys of grace {the calling of the Elders and Eldresses}.
35. And grace cometh through Christ, and Christ is because of the Cross, and the Cross is the victory of Heaven over all that leadeth unto death, despair and sorrow.
36. Therefore all ye who are in sorrow and have received Me: proclaim the victory of the Cross, no longer drooping in sin, and go forth as diligent stewards. Amen.
