Section 80
On Discipleship and
the Deeper Mysteries
The following revelation reflects the continuing problems faced by the Church in 1988 with people who desired to know the mysteries of the Kingdom but were not so interested in simple Christian discipleship. This problem plagued the Church for many years until its dissolution and reorganisation in 1992 along simpler lines. From 1988 to 1992 the deeper mysteries of the Gospel were removed to the Holy Order where they remain to this day. Such problems were not generally experienced after 1992. Again, the Lord informs the people of the necessity of dividing the inner and outer orders of the Church whilst they remain in an unsanctified state. The United Order in the old Jerusalem Colony. Many are called but few are chosen. The keys of discipleship. The divine mandate to love. The fruit of happiness [Frogner, Oslo, Norway].
1. Thus saith the Lord unto the saints of the New Covenant: ye have desires for that perfect Order wherein the power of Heaven is manifest to the healing of the inner and outer man.
The United Firstborn Order in Jerusalem
2. For ye have read of My people in Jerusalem who had all things in common, being neither rich nor poor, being made partakers of the heavenly gift through faith in My Name (Ac.2:44).
3. And ye have read also that there were great and marvelous works done in My Name, inasmuch as the apostles healed the sick and raised the dead, working all manner of miracles.
4. And ye murmur amongst yourselves, saying: "Why do these things not happen amongst us today?"1
5. And it is because ye lack faith and will not sacrifice for the Kingdom, but are divided, for ye yet remain in your foolish ways and will not give up the world.
6. For this cause I have divided you, calling the valiant into higher things but allowing the slothful to follow the dictates of their own wills.
Many are Called but Few are Chosen
7. Ye have all been called but not many shall be chosen (Mt.20:16), for ye are unwilling to leave the lusts and pleasures of the cities.
8. Such are like unto the wife of Lot who turned back unto the cities of the plains per chance hoping to reclaim a fallen portion of the world after judgment had already been made.
9. Know ye not that if ye would consecrate and dedicate yourselves like unto the Christians of old that the covenants of the inner Church of the Firstborn would belong unto the outer Church also?
The Protective Partition of the Inner and Outer Church
10. Know ye not that the two Covenants are partitioned because those of the outer Church are so steeped in carnality?
11. The Law of the United Order belongeth unto the Church of the Firstborn for ye are not willing to live it in the outer Church and must therefore be inducted into higher covenants by gradual steps.
12. But the first Jerusalem Colony lived many particulars of the Firstborn Order, for they were sanctified by the Firstborn and were willing to live righteously and deal justly one with another (Ac.2:42-47; 4:32-37; 5:1-16).
13. And if ye would humble yourselves there would be no need for two Orders, for the two would be one, even as the Firstborn, Jesus Christ is One, being both the Father and the Son (Isa.9:6).
14. For the Firstborn is the fullness of the Spirit of the Firstborn;
15. And if ye desire the fullness, and are willing to lay aside your own sins and counsel for My sake, then ye shall receive the fullness and be sanctified by the by.
16. Therefore what shall ye do, ye New Covenant Christians?
17. Ye must not walk after any shad- ow or type after the Law given unto My servant Moses (Heb.10:1) but ye must walk after the fullness of the command- ments which ye have received of Me;
The Requirements of Sound Discipleship
18. And ye shall continue in fasting and prayer, and in meeting together often both to pray and hear the Word of the Lord.
19. And if ye will do this ye shall be blessed like unto the first Christians, and mighty miracles shall abound among you for the salvation of all. Otherwise many of you shall fall away2.
The Divine Mandate to Love
20. Therefore let the love of God fill your hearts continually;
21. And if ye are filled with this love ye shall desire to seek out those who are lost that they may partake of this love and know the joy thereof.
22. I have given this love not that ye might consume it upon your lusts but that ye might share it with all;
23. But if ye do not administer this love, behold, it shall turn and consume you, and that which was fresh and pure shall be filled with worms.
24. Six days shalt thou plant thy Light and the seventh day thou shalt rest that I may renew {refill} your baskets.
The Fruit of Happiness
25. Therefore ye shall be a happy people at the beginning and at the end;
26. But if ye love only to consume it upon your lusts, or to receive love (NC&C 44), then ye shall be happy at the beginning, but at the last day ye shall know no joy, for ye shall have become as dry wells.
Seek the Kingdom First
27. Seek ye first the Kingdom3 and all things shall be added unto you in proportion to your obedience;
28. Seek not glory, nor honour, nor the praises of men, but crucify your carnal natures and receive the life of the Perfect One of Eternity. Amen.
