Revelation on Governments and Laws. Christians must obey the laws of the lands in which they live to the extent they do not compromise their faith. The New Covenant Cities of Refuge will be the only places of order and stablity in the last days. The prophecy here given on the communist lands began to be fulfilled two years later as their governments were toppled and Christians were given more freedom after decades of repression. Governments exist to bless their citizens. The call to gather to Zionic communities is again affirmed [Tøyen, Oslo, Norway].

Governments are for the Peoples' Blessing

1. Thus saith the Lord unto the saints and all those who live in the world: I am a God of law and order and it is I who have established governments, even as I have told you many times, but there are still those who will not hearken (Rom.13: 1-7; Titus 3:1; Mt.22:15-22; 1 Tim.2:1-3; 1 Pet.2:13-15) but who suppose the devil is the originator of all earthly govern- ments and that they are therefore above the law of the land.

2. These are the thoughts of the lawless one {Satan}, who opposeth all government and order, for he seeketh disorder and chaos that he may destroy the souls of men.

3. Some governments are more righteous than others, and some are exceedingly evil because the devil hath corrupted the minds and hearts of those who hold the reins of power.

4. Nevertheless the principle of government is Mine, saith the Lord, whether in Heaven or on earth, and verily it is better to have a wicked government than no government at all.

5. A wicked government may be reformed or overthrown, but a country without a government is hard to restore unto government without much bloodshed and sorrow.

6. Even in wicked governments I establish good men that per chance the wicked may repent and reform the evil laws they have established.

7. When the saints live in righteousness and obey My commandments they shall be upheld by the laws of the land and may live their religion in peace and security.

8. But when the people turn unto evil ways it is impossible for the Heavens to sustain them, or the nations in which they live, save it be according to that degree of Light which they have chosen.

9. Thou shalt therefore obey the laws of the land according to those principles which I, the Lord, have established.

Cities of Refuge during the Great Tribulation

10. It is only when the Desolator cometh and the sword is lifted against the saints that ye shall flee unto the Cities of Refuge and live My laws apart from the laws of earthly governments, for then ye shall be justified if ye have not lifted up the sword of vengeance yourselves.

11. Until then let none suppose they are above any earthly laws, but let them uphold all earthly governments, and pray for them, that My righteousness may be manifested in them.

Prophecy on Communist Eastern Europe and China

12. Behold, the prayers of a multitude [of Christians] have prevailed and I have softened many of the governments in the lands of the East.

13. It is impossible for men to abide ungodly laws for ever for they shall thirst for righteousness when they behold their desolation.

14. The Light cannot be hidden in the darkness but must burst forth, and though the darkness comprehendeth it not, neither can it resist it always, but must flee.

15. Therefore the giants of the East, even Russia and China and those who hold fellowship with their governments, shall know a period of greater Light and shall cease to persecute the children of God to the extent they have been doing so.

16. And as the righteousness of the eastern nations increaseth, so the righteousness of the western nations shall decrease, until all nations are swallowed up in their {the western nations'} iniquities and blasphemies, from one end of the world unto the other.

17. And thus the Tribulation shall begin, and the saints shall be gathered out of the world, [even] those who hearken and are obedient.

The Call to Gather to Zion

18. Therefore gather ye, gather ye, for I am working a sifting in all nations, and I am beginning in the West. So no more for now. Amen.
