The following vision was received before the organisation of the ministry. It was greeted with scepticism at a time when most geologists believed no seismic activity would occur in Norway for at least another century. But in 1992 a small earthquake occurred off the west coast of Norway to be followed by a larger one in the German-Belgian border region. Since then seismic activity has been recorded in eastern Norway on a number of occasions. Though only small tremours, they are a warning of major activity to come in the future. Stavanger is a wealthy city on the west coast of Norway known for the oil industry; and like many affluent Western cities it is worldly and materialistic. Many such places will be destroyed in the last day [Stavanger, Rogaland, Norway, April 1981].

1. In the early hours of the morning sometime in early April 1981 in the city of Stavanger, I saw a vision of a volcanic eruption a little inland from the city, from the area around Bryne to the south.

2. There were violent earthquakes and rocks were sent flying high into the air and landed on the city which by the by sank beneath the waves of the sea.

I was in Stavanger, Norway, staying in a hôtel, attending to some family matters surrounding my imminent first marriage, when I saw this vision. This was 3 years before I received the call to organise a work and 6 years before it was officially begun in Oxford, England. Though I did not know it at the time because I had no Norwegian family then, most of my family from Stavanger would one day relocate to the quiet commuter town of Bryne, a densely populated rural area with over 22,000 inhabitants. I was standing in my hôtel window facing south, eyes wide open, when everything I saw was transformed and in the same space I saw the volcano erupting and the city being swamped with water. Over the years I have visited Bryne a few times and often thought about this vision.

I have also often wondered if this vision was also a prophetic warning of the troubles that Norway would cause me in the years ahead, as you will see in the Norwegian revelations as they unfold.
