1-06. Confession of Messiah (Christ)
"If you confess with your mouth Yah'shua (Jesus) as Master (Lord), and believe (trust) in your heart that Elohim (God) raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed'. For there is no distinction between Judahite (Jew) and Greek; for the same Master is Master of all, abounding in riches for all who call upon Him; for 'whoever will call upon the Name of the Master will be saved'. How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:9-14)
Yahweh has made it very simple. You trust with your heart and tell with your mouth, and this results in righteousness.
"Whoever will call upon the Name of the Master will be saved". You express your emunah (faith) by calling in prayer. In this way you invite Yah'shua (Jesus) into your heart and life. He promises
"if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him".
Yah'shua (Jesus) told how one man was saved when he spoke from the depths of his heart only seven words:
"Elohim (God) be merciful to me, a sinner".
When should you
"call upon the Name of the Master?" Yahweh says:
"At the acceptable time I listened to you...and behold,
now is the acceptable time, behold
now is the day of salvation".
Salvation is not something that should be postponed. It is a private affair between you and Elohim (God). It only takes a few minutes. But the first step into a new life is the most important one. Don't delay. Elohim (God) stresses the word "now" - not tomorrow, or next week, or next month, but NOW. If there was not a good reason for doing this He would not call upon men and women to do it. There are forces round about you that will attempt by all means to prevent you from making your committment to Messiah (Christ). You'll experience that opposition afterwards too but then you will be equipped to resist it victoriously.
In 1940 the German army hesitated in its invasion of France to cut off a large allied Army and destroy it. The Wehrmacht suddenly stopped in its tracks under the mistaken belief that the British would come to terms. But the British didn't and that delay allowed a large British force to successfully evacuate France at a place called Dunkirk. That same army was used four years later in the invasion of Normandy. It was a serious mistake on the part of the Germans.
A sinner at the threshhold of making a confession and committment to Messiah who hesitates could lose his soul for eternity. If you have been brought this far then it is because Elohim (God) has so arranged it for you in His providence. Your reading this, if you are unsaved, is no accident. Maybe this is your first time, maybe you've delayed or postponed your decision once before. This could be your last chance.
Believe Yah'shua (Jesus) died for your sin and
"Elohim (God) raised Him from the dead". You are not being invited to believe in something vague and just spiritual but an
historical event. The apostles and talmidim (disciples) of Yahshua (Jesus) claimed that He died and was raised from the dead - not resussitated, but actually brought back to life in an IMMORTAL BODY. And there were hundreds of witnesses to the event. The physical resurrection of Yah'shua (Jesus) - a tangible event - is central to the emunah (faith).
"Call upon the Name of the Master" and
"confess with your mouth Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) before men, [and] I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven". When you have done this, with real intent, you know that you are saved.
Will you call upon the Master Yah'shua (Jesus) to come into your heart and save you now? If so, say:
"I call upon the Master Yah'shua (Jesus) inviting Him into my heart and save me now".
So do it now. Pray this simple prayer:
"Yahweh, I have sinned. I'm sorry for my sins. I now give my life to You. I accept you as my Master (Lord) and Saviour (Deliverer). I ask you to save me and live in my life. Elohim (God) be merciful to me a sinner. In Yah'shua's (Jesus') Name I pray. Amen."
IF YOU BELIEVE THAT YAHWEH-ELOHIM HAS SAVED YOU NOW, please continue.
