I was sent the following web page which has been posted on the Internet

and I noticed that a name I used to use, Abba James, was mentioned. I read
the following on this page,
"In the fall of 2000 I began to be interested in finding out more about the
various Essenes in history and came upon an "Essene Church of Mount Carmel"
on the computer operated by an Abba James who had formerly been in close
association with Yesai Israel. Seems like all the Essenes are Abbas. He
offered a correspondence course online which I began at the time, but then
later found out the material was almost identical to Yesai Israel's. Yesai
later explained Abba James had pirated his original material and so I
requested a hard copy of the Essene Introductory course from Yesai which he
promptly mailed to me."
It appears to me that what you are searching for is truth pertaining to
this Davied Israel, a.k.a. Yesai, so I thought I would write you and
present you with some facts.
We were associated with S.A.I. in what we were led to believe was a
cooperative effort. This was a long time ago and lasted for only a couple
of months. When we discovered that their inner teachings were against our
beliefs and the teachings of Yeshua (and that they were not willing to
cooperate), we parted company. Also, Mr. Israel had made some commitments
to me which he refused to keep. We also realized that their beliefs and
names change regularly and do so to this day. There are those driven by
lower motivations taking advantage of the name Essene and Nazarean. Some
people like to make it up as they go along to suit their agenda. We prefer
to stick with the traditional Essene Nazarean teachings. Our beliefs have
pretty much remained the same for over 25 years.
As far as our on-line correspondence course goes, that was supposed to be
part of the cooperative effort. The idea of creating a correspondence
course was mine from the beginning. Mr. Israel and I collaborated on the
first two lessons. We parted company shortly thereafter. I spent the next
eight months writing the rest of the entire course which we now offer.
About a year later, Mr. Israel sent me an email telling me that his
computer had a virus and he had lost everything. In the interest of
brotherly love, I offered to send him my correspondence course so he would
have something to work with. Shortly thereafter, I noticed on his web page
that he had insinuated that the correspondence course was his and I was
using his material. I thought this was pretty infantile but didn't think
much of it since we offer this course free of charge. It is informational
and historical so the material contained therein is not anyones personal
revelation. I guess this is another one of Mr. Israel's stories driven by
his ego to appear to be the great guru to others.
He also has on his web page that our church, Essene Nazarean Church of
Mount Carmel, broke off from his organization (O:N:E:). The fact of the
matter is we did not break off from anyone. Our church was in existence
long before I ever knew Mr. Israel. What is written on that web site is
another one of Mr. Israel's misleading lies. The name, O:N:E, wasn't even
in existence when I worked with Mr. Israel. This name is a new invention of
his. I sent an email to Mr. Israel and asked him why he would create such a
lie. The only answer I can think of is pure ego. As I'm sure you will
notice while reading the web site of S.A.I., their personal name is pasted
all over their web glorifying themselves. We prefer the name of Yeshua on
our web page as He is the only one we glorify.
Just for the record, I used to use the name Abba James. This was just a
title for the head of a church. It is the Aramaic, familiar form of father
or even dad. When I realized that others were misinterpreting this name as
something other than just a title, I dropped that name and now go by
Brother Jim (which I have used for years). I am in total agreement with
CE's views and observations on this matter. In our church, some members
have more responsibility than others but NO ONE is treated superior to
another. We are all brothers and sisters in Yeshua, our Lord and Master,
and it is Yeshua who is the head of our church.
Our church was realized around 1975 after a number of brothers and sisters
had been traveling monks living the Essene Nazarean teachings of Yeshua. He
said, "take up your cross and follow me" and we did. We traveled from town
to town as the spirit moved us. To make a long story short, after many
years we discovered that there were others interested in being dedicated to
the original teachings of Yeshua so this church was formalized such that
others so inclined could participate. We are also dedicated to preserving
the original texts as best we can. We do not condone tampering with the
manuscripts of antiquity.
