There is a group that is actively trying to minister to these folk. They are also setting up a network of counselors to help thos so oppressed. We are glad Joshua that you are seeing the delima that you descibe. You are absolutelt right, if we are to effectively storm the gates of hell this issue must be addressed. We get persecution in the form of spritual warfare, but we would rather be on the front line doing evangelism rather than discussing and debating it. This will be our twelth year and God has ALWAYS given us the power HE promised to be witnesses. The devils would have you believe that great persecution is in store for anyone doing this. Like everything else they try to make us think it is A LIE. The first couple of years we (my wife and I) were attacked in our sleep, but JESUS shepherded us through that. There have been leaders in the church that have attacked a few weeks before the event,but The HOLY SPIRIT gave discernment. At every bit of persecution GOD has always given the power HE promised.As far as phsical trouble at the tract table, a group a teens came by and threw some eggs-this happened just once.

99% percent take the tracts thankfully some even say they wish their church would do what we are doing. As far as the kids, our kids help pass out the tracts thereby giving the Gospel instead of receiving candy. A soulwinners crown for a cavity , now that's a trade we can live with.

Chick does have some hard hitting material, but they also have a bunch of kids tracts that are very effective and the parents have never come back to us with complaints. Over the years we have had a hand in getting out over 100,000 chick tracts on these two night of trick or treat. You know mpst of the parents are reading these as well.

It would behoove us all to do this while it is yet day, for there comes a time when no man shall work.

I'm not sure I get the whole alien/christianity connection of the site you have listed. How are the 2 related? I'll keep on reading to see if there is more along those lines, but believing in god is fanciful enough, now were going to add in another inteligent life form that abducts people from our plant? Like I said I'll keep looking the site over.

Sure Lev, We represent A WHO, not a what and that WHO is The LORD JESUS WHO is The CHRIST.

We have always used simple English as we are simple people.

As far as what we do, we pastor a small independent Bible church, pass out as many Gospel tracts as possible, and paint houses to make ends meet. If your indirect question was aimed at something like, do we represent chick or echoesofenoch, we do not. We are part of a counselors team however for the echoes group and over the years have helped distribute 100's of thousands of chick tracts.

We would love to answer anymore questions and hope yours about representation was answered in the only english we have ever used-simple.

Relax, Doug. I have hundreds of emails, messages and posts to deal with daily and don't the opportunity to go through the many websites people represent. "One of two paragraphs" is just a figure of speech for keeping it brief. But thank you for your summary anyway.

Lev, Sorry we didn't seemed relaxed and respect the full plate that you have in all the work you do. When you get a spare moment try looking at www.echoesofenoch.com and tell us what you think. This site is not pushing the book of Enoch and has a messianic tone to it as you will see.

Viewing first hand as to how the HOLY SPIRIT works in the tract w/ treat event has made us zealous for others to experience this as well. Passing out The Gospel on "the devils holiday" is such a strong stand that we have a very hard time relaxing about it. As this thread title is "evangelism" we thought it would be a good outlet to share our zeal-Shabbat Shalom, Pastor Doug & Ruth

Np, Doug. I am actually an enthusiastic tract-distributor myself though there is not quite the same receptivity in unreligious Scandinavia as the USA. We have given thousands out over the years but the response here has always been poor and so we find the internet ministry more fruitful. I will hopefully take a look at your website presently.

Thanks Lev, Our method is to just place the tract on the porch and leave,we place no denominational tag or our churches name-just The Gospel. We would get discouraged for lack of friut, but our concern is plantin and watering seed. Besides God is LORD of the harvest anf Is. 55:11 will be our portion. Shabbat Shalom it is time for our home Sabbath readings-
