Understanding Dream Symbolism - Introduction by Lev
Posted by Lev/Christopher on January 3, 2010 at 2:28am in Dreams & Visions
The symbolism we use in our dreams is partly a function of our individuality/personality, making them unique to us, partly derived from a pool of archetypal symbols that may be culturally-related, and partly universal (common to all men and women). If you have been born again, read the Bible a lot and immerse yourself in it, then your dreams will start utilising symbols taken from that and be inspired by the Ruach. The 'power' or 'energy' behind dreams comes from one of ~5 sources:
1. Yahweh
2. Yourself (your own psyche)
3. Demons
4. Other people
5. A mixture of these
Learning to know what's what may take a little time, i.e. a lot of experience. Your relationship with Yah'shua (Jesus) is the key factor.
