Martin Luther ghost and three flies - NCCG.ORG Ning Network Archive 2008-10

I had a dream where I was confronted by what seemed to be a demonic, ghostly version of Martin Luther - I recently saw a movie about him, and generally like him and admire his fight against Catholicism, so I felt as though his shape and likeness had been "hijacked" by something demonic.

I banished him in the name of Yahushua, and remember vividly pronouncing this name - I've said the names Elohim and Eloheinu, and seen the Aharonic Blessing in other dreams.

Shortly after, I am confronted by three particularly disgusting flies - I interpret this to be something akin to the three "frog spirits" from Revelation. I try to crush them with my hand, and manage to squash one of them under a blanket.

Interesting dream. Luther was indeed an admirable man in most respects and certainly courageous. If this had been my dream I would have interpreted this as meaning that Luther was unkosher in three areas represented by each of the flies. In the Canaanite religion, as you almost certainly know, Baal was known as 'Lord of the Flies'. My guess is that Luther's weaknesses were in that he still subscribed to 3 pagan/Baalite doctrines which he carried over from Catholicism. One of these you have expunged from your life but two remain, which I am guessing is antinomianism. What the three are I have no clue without knowing you better.

Yes, I see the link to "Baal Zebub", the flies are almost too obviously representative of someting spiritual or at least related to my religious life, and not something outside this sphere of influence.

I'm actually comforted by the appearance of these spiritual themes in my dreams, it lets me know these ideas and doctrines have an impact upon my deeper consciousness.
