It is possible that the woman represents a religious system or a group of people who are following a particular religious system-- in this case probably Roman Catholicism or the ecumenical conglomeration that is being absorbed into roman catholicism. The fact that she is rising up and making pronouncements, seems to be quite literal in that the ecumenical/papal pronouncements are in fact increasing with intensity and power (demonic power).

The paper-less plain table-- maybe it means that you know your stuff so well that you didn't need any notes.

I think you may be right, Chris. One of the weaknesses I have had has been my love of the music that comes out of these traditions. Not that I think the music is bad per se but because (I think) a sympathy-by-association claim is being made by the system that originated by it. And it is a fact that the Czar of Russia was converted to the Greek Orthodox Church because he was so impressed by the beauty of the liturgy when he visited Constantinople - it was not the doctrine that drew him (he was examining the other branches of Christendom too) but the aesthetics.

I have noticed that many Jews converting to Messianism are similarly drawn back to their Talmudic religion because they miss the beauty of the liturgy there too.

In short, an appeal is being made on behalf of systems we have left because of aesthetic attraction. I think that's why, for example, many people have problems leaving certain denominations because of their love of the music of that denomination. And I do believe there is demonic music that keeps people bound and from growing in the truth - I have certainly detected demonic spirits working in music peculiar to different denominations and traditions which is why discerning music is both essential and much neglected.

I come from an Anglican background (which of course came from the RCC) so I guess I am still working out some 'attractions' on a sub-conscious level.
