We Have a Problem and Need Your Input...

We have a problem, and it would seem we're not the only ones. It seems that people are so spread out in dozens of other Messianic and Evangelical Ning Networks (which keep on multiplying) that most members become mere statistics and forget even what groups they belong to (after switching off post-monitoring features when their email boxes get bombarded from different groups).

As ministers it does help to know whether we're making any difference to the people we try to serve so in order to justify continuing using time and other resources in maintaining this ME Group, and so we'd appreciate it if you could just drop by this Forum on a once-off basis (we're not 'demanding' regular contributions as some groups do) to let us know if anything we post here is useful to you, and specifically what. If not, then we will post our materials on our main website, as we used to before, and revert back to maintaining 1-to-1 email contact with people instead.

I think Ning is a fantastic free service but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that what it tends to become is a mass of one-man-churches with everyone seeking their own following. So as part of a review of our stewardship, we'd appreciate a word to know if you think this service is helpful to you or not. If not, we will likely channel our energies elsewhere.

    Thank you and Yahweh bless!

I too have been baffled by the plethora of ning sites. Every time I post a new chapter it takes a long time just to put it up on all the sites of which I'm a member, and I decline about half of the invitations to other ning sites. All of the different factions are hard to keep up with. It seems that the sheep scatter all on their own. Messianicim is messy and more fraught with division than I've ever seen in Christianity.

I don't check in alot, just don't have time or the heart right now as my depression has gotten so bad.I do read your sermons though.I am not a member of any other ning groups as far as i remember.I was a member of one but they started demanding photos from all members so i left.

    Shalom, shalom,
I love the site, but you are right about the email boxes being bombarded and then having to go and click on the links to read what has been posted. It is certainly much easier to read them directly from one's email inbox. I must admit that at times, I would read more if I didn't have to click on the link, long into ning, etc. But, I do so cherish the daily inspirationals and all of the teachings. Please don't stop what you are doing, you are making a difference in many lives, and I do share much of what you post with others in the are of influence where YHWH has placed me.

May YHWH bless you and your precious family.
Tons and tons and mountains upon mountains of Agape Ahava in our precious, beloved Bridegroom and Master, Yeshua HaMashiach,
    Rivkah

I'd like to thank the first of you to reply to my letter - it means a lot to have some feedback.

Yaacov - I agree with you and your observations as to the factionalism amongst Messianics only convinced me the more that there is 'something' missing. I think we have a pretty good idea what it is and I don't mean just doctrinally (though I think agreement on the Godhead/Elohimhead is where we have to start on that one) but in terms of which spirits people are being led by - and frankly I see more that unifies evangelical Christianity in spite of the diversity there too because they mostly operate out of correct first principles. Keep posting your book wherever you can - this information is critical to unity! If we don't have Elohim right, how can we get the rest right?

Gus - we're here to help if you want to get in contact privately. We have missed you, actually. Theology is pretty useless if we don't get down to the nitty-gritty of helping one another with the issues of the soul. These are tough times and the Body of Messiah IS under assault in the invisible.

Rebecca - I know what you mean about the bother of having to multiply log-in. Thank you for the support.

Angela - your observations about the group's "size" have been noted - I can relate to that. That's part of the problem of trying to be comprehensive, I guess because we do feel it is important to keep people maximally informed in all spheres of life. At least in Ning you can choose which groups within a network like ME that you can follow in email. I have never tried Facebook though from what I have seen it lacks many of the excellent features of Ning. We do need to use the chat feature more though I find MSN better in that department still. What do people think to getting a regular chat period going? I tried before but there wasn't much response. It of course requires comittment to work and proper coordination of time-zones. Sunday has always worked the best in the past.

GENERAL - I'll wait for some more responses here before working out a strategy that will serve everyone best. I have been thinking of stopping the sermons for a while and focusing on catching up on the website but if people feel they minister to them, I will continue. We tend to have ex tempore sermons in our home congregation based on the written material so the written is mostly for our internet viewers.

Thank you again for your input and Yahweh bless!

That is good to know, brother, and I see where you're coming from. I have long believed and preached that in the final times every man and woman would be his own church/assembly. Doctrinal diversity is ok provided one is united on the essentials and one thing that united Evangelicals is the Trinity and the Person of Yah'shua. Though their Trinity doctrine is erroneous they are right about the Person of Yah'shua and that does at least allow the Ruach haRishon flow through them, lead the unsaved to salvation, and give them a taste of the better things. I find THAT is almost totally absent from most Messianic sites because, as I've said before, for many Torah is their Messiah (though they would categorically deny it).

I think there are adversaries about creating profusions of ning sites for the "hell of it". The new sites that I hear about find their way to my junk mailbox so I typically don't pay them mind. Full marks to you for creating this network. It's been very helpful for me.

Thank you for this forum. I clean a church once a week and broadcast the video teachings while I work. It is a blessing having these resources, however if it is too difficult to maintain . . . HaShem bless you.

Shalom brother and thanks for the input. It is not 'too difficult to maintain' - I don't mind the effort or time usage - but more a question of whether it's being used or not. If it is, then it is worth the investment of time and effort.

I don't particular care for it because it opens the door to many other things/ministries. This special ministry is set apart sort of. I would prefer it be a separate entity from the others. Then if we choose other ministries to join we need to seek them out ourselves.

the deliverance articles have been a G-d send to me ! it is also good to know that there are people there that we can contact if we want further assistance ! please keep on keeping on ! Cheryl.

We are definitly being blessed by this group, thanks for being here for us.

I like this site a lot,I do not get on here as much as I would like to because my pc blew up and I have to use the public library's computer and the time there is limited per day to 1 hour.YAHWEH willing when my disability finally comes through,I will be able to purchase another computer of my own. Please forgive me if it seems like I am ignoring the site. There are many things I would like to discuss and many questions to ask, as I am fairly new to the faith.I do,however want to be able to take my time and read everything thoroughly.I hope your feasts days were full of Shalom and joy as were ours.
    Shalom Kathy McCoy

Thank you all for your latest additions - I appreciate them. I hope you enjoy the sabbath sermon.

    Baruch haShem YHWH!
