    A PET'S TEN COMMANDMENTS.........

    A PET'S TEN COMMANDMENTS.........

    1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful.

    2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.

    3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.

    4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment, but I have only you.

    5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me.

    6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.

    7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet, I choose not to bite you.

    8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long, or my heart might be getting old or weak.

    9. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too, will grow old.

    10. On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I love you so.

~Take a moment today to thank Yahweh for your pets. Enjoy and take good care of them.

Life would be a much duller, less joyful experience without Yahweh's critters.

~Now please pass this on to other pet owners. We do not have to wait for Heaven, to be surrounded by hope, love, and joyfulness. It is here on earth and has four legs!

We live in Värmland near the Norwegian border and about 2½ hours from Oslo Airport on a direct rail link to Arvika.

    Yes she is.

It occurs to me you might like to post some of your really interesting art up in the Art & Photography section if you're interested.

What brought your patents to Sweden?

My dad was always an entrepreneur and he moved there on the promise of a job in electronics but once we'd moved there the job fell through. So then we were stuck in a foreign country without means of income. Then my dad got a job at steel works which tied us through while he was busy inventing the ultrasonic flowmeter. Once he'd finished he started selling them and I assembled them! Then we moved to the USA as my dad was offered a deal with a company there. Then in 1980 we moved back to England with the company. In 1986 I joined the company and carried on with the assembly again!
I won't bore you with the rest of the details!
I'm glad you like my art work. Where is the art and photography section? Do you mean in 'photos'?

That's really interesting. Sweden has changed a lot since you lived here, you probably wouldn't recognise it.

Shalom! You brought to me so sweet memories of my baby girl “Patsy”, she was so faithful and lovable always protecting my kids and even my grandkid. We thought her about the baby since he was in my daughter’s belly. My daughter used to sit outside and she let Patsy, smell her belly since the beginning of her pregnancy, and when we brought the baby home, we let Patsy smell the baby’s feet. We had a reunion in the house and we invite many friends and family, one of the kids took the baby outside, and when he got close to the stairs that take you outside of the house, my Patsy step in front of him and start growling to him, she felt that he was going to take the baby with him and she did what she knew was the right thing to do to prevent him to take the baby away. I was very proud of her, she was my best friend and I never, never going to forget her. Her memories will be with me for the rest of my life. And I have cats also, but they come and go as they pleased and aren’t very faithful, :-)).

Romania is notorious for its neglect of orphans and the cruel and appalling state of orphanages in the country but most people are not aware of the plight of that nation's dogs...

VERY SWEET.I LIKED THAT.I LEARNED A LESSON SIMILER TO THESE.I WAS YELLING FOR MY DOG AND HAD A BOARD IN MY HAND OR STICK AND I WAS MAD.WELL A MAN PULLED UP TO LITTLE STORE WHERE I LIVE.HE SEES ME YELLING FOR MY DOG.THE MAN I KNOW.HE WAS BIG BURLY MAN AND KNOWEN FOR BEING BIG,BAD MAN.HE TELLS ME LISTEN,I`M NOT GETTING SMART WITH YOU I JUST WANT TO ASK YOU A QUESTION.IF SOME ONE WAS CALLING YOU TO COME TO THEM AND THEY HAD A BOARD IN THEIR HAND,WOULD YOU COME TO THEM?I WAS STUNNED.WHAT HE SAID MADE SENSE.I TOLD HIM NO I WOULD NOT AND HE SAID NOW YOU KNOW HOW THAT DOG FEELS.HE NODDS HIS HEAD AND I THROW BOARD OR STICK DOWN AND WAS ASHAMED OF MYSELF AND WANTED TO CRY.I LEARN YOU CAN RUIN A GOOD DOG LIKE THAT ESPECIALY WHEN THEY ARE YOUNG IT WILL LEAVE A LONG LASTING INPRESTION ON A YOUNG DOG AND MAKE THEM SKIDISH THE REST OF THEIR LIFE.THEY WILL BE SCARED OF YOU THE REST OF THEIR LIFE AND WILL NOT KNOW HOW TO EXCEPT AFFECTION AND THERES NOTHING YOU CAN DO.THAT DOG WOULD BE BETTER OFF DEAD THAN GO THROUGH LIFE FEELING UNWANTED.I NEVER PICKED UP A STICK OR BOARD AGAIN TO BEAT ANY OF MY DOGS.I LEARNED THAT STRESS ALSO LOWERS THE LIFE SPAN OF A DOG.MY DOGS LIVED LIVES FAR BEYOUND THEIR YEARS.ONE OF MY DOGS LIVED 17 OR 18 YEARS AND I DON`T KNOW HOW LONG HE LIVED WITH HIS PREVIOUS OWENER THAT ABANDONED HIM.HE WAS NOT A PUP I CAN TELL YOU THAT.HIS NAME WAS PRANCER CAUSE HE WOULD PRANCE LIKE A HORSE.HE WALKED PROUD AS HE PATROLED OUR DRIVE WAY AND HE WOULD LOOK TO SEE AS IF HE WANTED US TO SEE WHAT HE WAS DOING FOR US IN RETURN FOR SHOWING COMPASION FOR HIM.

I recommend that you take a look at this website to better understand how dogs are and how to love and rule them:
