MORMON ARCHAEOLOGY AND OTHER TIDBITS
Respected Mormon archaeologist, Professor Dee F. Green has written:
"The first myth we need to eliminate is thet Book of Mormon archaeology exists...If one is to study Book of Mormon arachaeology, then one must have a corpus of data with which to deal. We do not.
"...no Book of Mormon location is known with reference to modern topography. Biblical archaeology can be studied because we do know where Jerusalem and Jericho were and are, but we do not know where Zarahemla and Bountiful (nor any location for that matter) were and are.
"...a concentration on geography should be the first order of business, but we have already seen that twenty years of such an approach has left us empty handed"
(Dialogue, A Journal of Mormon Thought, Summer 1969, pp.77-78).
Thirty years on (1999) the situation has not changed at all and there remains not one single SHRED of direct archaeological for the Book of Mormon in the New World.
By contrast, Biblical archaeological data just grows and grows. And what are we told by Mormon apologists? "It all got swallowed into the ground" or "sunk into the sea", just like the disappearing Book of Mormon plates and Joseph Smith's Quaker-like moon men.
We are dealing with one giant myth - a religious hoax of epic proportions not unlike the Hindu myths. The more honest Mormons are finally admitting it and getting out of the Mormon illusion.
Mormon Super-DNA
Mormon Biologists ought to be having a field day for they have at their fingertips a sure method of provind that the Mormon Church's claims are absolutely true. Joseph Smith taught:
"...the effect of the Holy Ghost on a Gentile is the purge out the old blood, and make him actually of the seed of Abraham". (History of the Church, vol.3, p.380)
This would mean a genetic correspondence between all Mormons, no matter what their racial origin, because they will have become genetically modified. Thus it should be a simple matter to make some simple DNA comparisons by extracting cells of new converts who have been baptised and then taking fresh samples after they have received the laying on of hands for the Gift of the Holy Ghost which will then genetically reconstitute them.
I wonder why they have never done it?
The Knees that won't Bow and Antichrist
The New Testament teaches that a person born again of the Holy Spirit will testify with his lips, and with bended knee, that Jesus Christ is Lord. In fact, the New Testament goes further by saying that finally everyone will be forced to admit that Jesus is Lord because the truth of it will be presented to them in an undeniable way. This will happen at the end of the dispensation when Christ returns. All will say, "Jesus Christ is Lord".
But this is not acceptable for the Mormon brethren who insist on a few other stipulations for confession. Brigham Young declared:
"If you will believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is the Christ, that Joseph was a Prophet, and that Brigham was his successor, you shall be saved in the kingdom of God"
This is most embarrasing for at the end of the age the whole world, believer and unbeliever, will be confessing only that Jesus is Lord. That means NO-ONE WILL BE SAVED because they will not be adding Joseph and Brigham to their confession of faith.
Worse, Brigham said:
"Every spirit that confesses that Joseph Smith is a prophet, that he lived and died a prophet and that the Book of Mormon is true, is of God, and every spirit that does not is of anti-Christ" (Journal of Discourses, vol.6, p.176; also Doctrines of Salvation, vol.1, p.236; JD 6:229; History of the Church, vol.7, p.287).
This is a terrible lie. The first Christians were saved and went to heaven, inheriting the highest rewards, without any such confession. For them, Jesus was enough. But the Mormons are making salvation conditional upon human beings notorious for contradicting themselves, even teaching that men live on the moon and the sun.
Mormons, you are living a delusion. You do not need Smith, Young, Uncle Tom Cobley or anyone else to be saved. All you need is Jesus. Read your Bible and see for yourself.
Noah's Ark in North Carolina?
Mormons claim that Noah's Ark was built in what is today North Carolina.
Read your Bible carefully and you will see that Noah built the ark in Mesopotamia and all the Middle Eastern traditions of the flood say that the venerable patriarch came from what is now Iraq.
Not only do the Mormons lack a map for the Book of Mormon but they have apparently lost their Bible maps too.
"Hand Over Your Wife" - Non-Mormon Marriage Abolished
Jedediah M. Grant, second counsellor to Brigham Young, said on Fevruary 19, 1854, in the Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City:
"When the family organization was revealed from heaven - the patriarchal order of God - and Joseph [Smith] began on the right and on the left to add to his family, what a quaking there was in Israel (the LDS church).
"Says one brother to another, 'Joseph says all [e.g. marriage] covenants are done away, and none are binding but the new [LDS] covenant; now suppose Joseph should cpme and say he wanted your wife, what would you say to that?...
"If such a man of God should come to me and say, 'I want your gold and silver, or your wives,' I should say, 'Here they are, I wish I had more to give to you, take all I have got!'"

The diaries of those who lived with Joseph Smith attest how this pervert approached faithful Mormons for their wives. Smith made a mockery of marriage, annulling all marriage contracts outside the LDS Church. No marriage was safe.
Mormonism was founded by an adulterer, and an unapologetic one at that.
