One of the many useful keys, IMHO, in knowing who and what are dear to Yahweh's heart is observing what Satan hates above all else, and top of the list seems to be any person or body of believers who name the Name of Messiah, including those deep in apotasy (and arguably following a demonic script) such as the Roman Catholics. The demons that drive (for example) militant Hindus in India will equally and happily butcher Roman Catholics along with Protestants and Messianics. It's the Name above all Names that drives Him insane with murder-lust, even in its Greek form. Observing these things drives home, and reminds me (when reminding is needed) that the Body of Messiah in this sphere (and in the heavenly) ultimate transcends all denominational boundaries. And whilst this by no means makes me an ecumenical supporting false doctrines and practices, it forces me to conclude - and declare - that for YHWH the most important thing is faith in His Son (as Deity), skewed doctrines about Him notwithstanding. If we would remember that then I think there would be a greater abundance of love in our hearts for those who do not know Torah which would in its turn make us more credible witnesses. For without this love, our Torah witness is, in any case, in vain, and we might just as well become Protestants.
