Farewell Internet Explorer, Welcome Firefox - NCCG.ORG Ning Network Archive 2008-10

I have had a love affair with Internet Explorer for years and was loathe to give it up (familiarity syndrome), especially after I dumped Netscape some years before. But I just got so sick of the latest IE - slow, always crashing, wouldn't let me cut and paste, etc., that I finally took the plunge and downloaded Firefox. It's like walking into a new world.

I got to thinking that that's often how we relate to sin. We cling onto it because it's familiar and are reluctant to try Yahweh's alternative lifestyle because it's unfamilar and risky.

I am glad I took the plunge.

Actually, I am finding deficiencies in Firefox when it comes to HTML programming making IE the superior of the two - it really messes the layout of the main homepage. However, at least it is fast, doesn't crash and has a useful spell-checker. Hopefully IE will get debugged.

Firefox turned out to be deficient in terms of virus protection - it was the cause of a recent virus attack that crippled my PC for a few days. I have since converted to GOOGLE CHROME which is even faster than Firefox and reputably the safest of all browsers. It isn't cluttered by numerous add-ons which noone needs either. I recommend it for those searching for browser utopia.
