Realistically, I think the only way that true believers can deal with this is by not recognising the government's right to interfere in marriage at all. In other words, not to go to the government for any sort of sanctioning at all, because simply said, Yahweh never gave them the mandate to. Marriage is between the parties concerned and has nothing to do with the government acting as a polyandrous spouse or "Big Daddy" (or "Big Mummy" for that matter). If homos want to call it "marriage" that's up to them. If governments want to call it "marriage" that's up to them but as far as I am concerned the government has about as much right to legislate marriage between hetero- or homosexuals as they have in authorising wedlock between bubblegum and hot dogs. We need no such validation. BUT - as I have mentioned elsewhere - if we are to take that position, we must also view education in the same light ... which means homeschooling your own children. Otherwise our little ones will be indoctrinated with lies and influenced to ruination.
