It''s been a while but The History Channel ran a special about this that also said the Chinese had something about predictions that end in 2012, that "the merlins" of England talked about things ending in 2012,there was some others maybe just can't remember, maybe Edgar Cayce or Nostradamas. I was fascinated that these "seerers" all had the same date. Comparing them all I came to the conclusion that "demom knowledge" was at work since none of these groups claim the Blood of our LORD and Saviour Jesus who is The CHRIST.

I forget where I learned this or where in Scripture to find it but the demons are known as eons if you trace back to the original. There is also a message in the stars that we don't fully understand , but that the demons do, giving them knowledge that we don't have.

Maybe the secular world,agnostics and "New Agers" will see these events unfolding and come to a saving knowledge of Christ. Some believe that Christians are the ones who are stopping the next step in "evolution" and that the age of aquarius won't fully happen until we are gone...

Time is running short no matter what angle you look from-Time to use the power we were promised in Acts 1:8 and be real witnesses-hopefully that verse is in all the versions...

I view this though two possible lenses:

1. The view that you present;
2. A demonic agenda on which they set something up to happen at that date which will convince the world that their human hosts are 'prophets' and successfully divert believers' attention from Yah'shua to such predictions anf the events that accompany them.

I do agree - time is running out.

On a related topic, God showed me a hidden timetable in the Bible that is found in the gospels in the lists of generations of Christ. I was reading these geneologies one day and told God it was boring and asked Him why He put them in the Word. Then He showed me. The time table is hidden in these two lists of Jesus' lineage and is interpreted with some information found in the book of Genesis. It shows that we are indeed living in the end of days, but it will not end in 2012. However as I have stated elsewhere, I do believe that the next few years will be very turbulent and may well lead into the great trib.
