My wife and I agreed at the beginning of our marriage not to do the "santa" thing with our children. I am indiferent to Dec 25th, but we did buy presents for our children and each other.
All of our children, as adults, have expressed their gratitude to us for not lying to them and loving them enough to bless them this way.
When you consider the absurdity, it boggles the mind really. Parents, who are supposed to be the model of truth and light, work and spend themselves into debt to provide toys and presents that for the most part and ultra carnal, many satanic, and then tell their children that some mythical character gave them the presents. Where oh where is the intelligence?
