No, I am not Jewish. And I do not support what is called "Judaism". Neither am I a "Zionist" in the political sense. All of these I need to explain.
We face major problems when words have mutliple meanings. For instance, I am a Messianic Israelite but I am not a Messianic Jew.
A. JEWISH. The modern word "Jewish" is a cultural-religious" term with many shades of meaning. To be Jewish in the 21st century means essentially either (a) to be religiously a Jew, or in other words, a Talmudic Jew, or (b) to be descended from such people without necessarily having strong religious beliefs or any beliefs at all. Thus you can be an agnostic or an atheistic Jew. What links the two together is the shared culture and history much as modern Christians share the culture of Christmas and Easter with the secular post-Christian world.
To be a Jew in the Bible is to be a descendant of the patriarch Judah. Thus a true Jew should really be called a Judahite. Furthermore, it must be remembered that whilst all Jews in biblical times werte Israelites, not all Israelites were Jews. The tribe of Judah is only one of twelve Israelite tribes. It is therefore quite erroneous to speak of the Old Testament as being "Jewish". It isn't. It is Israelite or Hebrew (the descendants of Heber or Eber). In addition to Judahites (Jews) there are Ephraimites, Manassehites, Benjaminites (like Paul), Zebulunlites, and so on. Israel is much larger than Judah.
By the time you come to the New Testament, you are left with a Roman province called Judea and citizens called Judeans. When in our English Bibles the apostle John and others speak of "Jews" they are really talking about Judeans, that is, those who belong to a political entitity. A Jew, a Judahite and a Judean are three separate entities and are invariably confused.
Your modern Jew isn't even a Semite (a descendant of Shem), from which we get the term "antisemitic". He isn't even connected to Abraham, let alone Isaac, Jacob, or Judah. Your modern Jew is in all likelihood a KHAZAR, a powerful Turkic people who lived on the Russian steppes and who converted to Talmudic Judaism in the Middle Ages. Probably less than 8% of modern Jewry have anything to do with Abraham or Judah.
This is vitally important to understand. To be a "Jew" or "Jewish" is a cultural-religious concept. And whilst the "Jewish culture" contains much that is biblical, it also contains a very large element of occultic kabbalism and man-made tradition.
A Messianic Jew is someone from this cultural-religious background who accepts Yah'shua (Jesus) as his Messiah (Christ). In many, if not most, instances it is assumed that to be a Jew is to be a bona fide descendant of Abraham and it is assumed that the traditions of the Talmudists is entirely or partly true. Many Messianic Jews even recognise the authority of the Talmudic Rabbis to make hallakah or religiously-binding rules on all Jews, messianic as well as non-messianic. (It should be be pointed out that most Jews reject the claims of Messianic Jews).
Since I reject Talmudic Judaism as antichrist and semi-occultic, and since I don't recognise the vast majority of them as having any connection racially whatsoever to the patriarch Judah, I am neither Jewish, pro-Jewish or anything Jewish. I view Jews and Judaism as I view any other race or religion. I certainly do not view them as "the apple of God's eye". They are far from the true messianic faith, they are not who they claim to be, they are vehemently antichrist (especially the Orthodox Jews), many are rabidly racist, they have conspired over the centuries to overthrow democracy and to take control of the world, and have in the process brought much calamity upon their heads.
There are, however, Jews who may be said to be Judahites. Mostly they are of Sephardic origin - the "Western Jews". The Eastern (Ashkenazi) Jews are almost entirely descendants of the Kazars, a Japhethite tribe. These Western Jews, however, are very much mixed with gentile blood, like the other tribes of Israel who to all intents and purposes were lost by genetic assimilation into the gentile world.
The religious absorption and occupation of some evangelical Christians and almost all Messianic Jews with the "Jews" and with the state of "Israel" borders on, or may actually be, idolatry. It has bred a fanaticism that has diluted the true Gospel message which has removed all such artificial divisions such as that which once divided Jew from Gentile.
B. ZIONISM. I am not a Zionist for the same reasons because I do not believe that the current "Republic of Israel" is Israel. For that matter it isn't Judah either. A better name for it would be the Khazar Republic or Edomite Republic.
Having said that, I am bound to add that I do believe that the Jewish presence in the Holy Land is part of an unfolding plan. That there are true Judahites there, however tiny a minority, is a part of the restoration of the true Israel which is to come. But to say that the land of Palestine belongs to the Talmudic Jews by right is a fallacy. It isn't theirs. The promises that were made to Abraham and his descendants were not made to any Turkic people. The Jewish Khazars have as much "right" to the Holy Land as the Palestinian Arabs, namely, none whatsoever.
Another error in the Christian-Messianic world is the teaching that there are two groups of God's people - the "Jews" and the "Christians" (or "Messianic Jews"). That's tantamount to saying that Yahweh recognises two religions or groups of people simultaneously - one racial (inspite of their being antichrist) and another religious (believers in Yah'shua/Jesus).
The truth, as taught in the Bible, is quite different. When the Messiah (Christ) came and effected a New Covenant, the Old came to an end. And along with that change came a new Israel.
The 11th chapter of Paul's letter to the Romans explains that those Jews/Judahites in New Testament times ceased being Israelites. He says that they were cut off, like branches from an olive tree. Those Judahites, Benjamites and Levites who accepted the Messiah (Christ) remained as the true Israel. To that Israelite tree were grafted all non-Israelites who accepted Yah'shua (Jesus) as the Messiah (Christ), that is, the "Gentiles" or Goyim.
This is the true biblical doctrine. Israel is those original Israelites who became believers and those who were, and have subsequently, been added on to them. What Israel is not is the Roman Catholic Church, the Mormon Church, or some other "group" which was never connected with Israel in the first place. The doctrine that the Church "replaced" Israel is a pernicious heresy and is called Replacement Theology. None of these groups are Torah-observant and by their works disqualify themselves from being Israel.
Israel is not the modern-day "Republic of Israel", neither is the "Church" - Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Protestant or any other who claim to be the "New Israel". Israel is all true believers of the Lord Yah'shua (Jesus) who are observing the commandments.
What is today called "Zionism" is the belief that Talmudic Jews have the divine right of ownership of the Holy Land or Palestine. They don't. And this is part of the reason there is so much trouble in the Middle East. The Holy Land belongs to all true believers, but the fulfillment of this literal promise does not begin until the Millennium. That Yahweh is moving true Israelites into the land is not denied - true Judahites and those who are accepting the Messiah (Christ). That is who the land belongs to, including those Palestinian Arabs who accept the Messiah and are Torah-observant, for they become Israel by in-grafting.
So I am definitely not a modern-day "Zionist". The Zion I seek is presently not of this world but which will come down and dwell amongst men when Yah'shua (Jesus) returns in triumph.
