Sounds a crazy question, doesn't it? But many Messianic Jews sincerely believe they are because they don't use sacred names or observe Torah.
But that isn't what Yah'shua (Jesus) taught. All we know is that those who teach people not to obey the least of the commandments, and disobey them themselves, become least in the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt.5:17-20). It doesn't say they don't make it to heaven. Beyond that we must use our intelligence and listen to the Ruach (Spirit), remembering that we are justified in the days of our ignorance:
"Truly, these times of ignorance God (Eloah) overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained" (Acts 17:30-31, NKJV).
But I can think of a lot of Messianics who, puffed up in their own self-righteousness because of Torah-observance, will claim to have done this or that but who never had love in their hearts to whom Yah'shua (Jesus) will say:
""Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' (or 'Yahweh, Yahweh', or *yah'shua, Yah'shua' or 'Adonai, Adonai') shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'" (Matt.7:21-23, NKJV).
Fancy someone who is Torah-observant being called lawless - the ultimate rebuke for a Law-observer! You see, in the end we will primarily be judged by the way in which we have treated people, in other words, whether we have shown them genuine heart-love and cared for them.
Conclusion: Some Christians are hell-bound and some Messianics are hell-bound. And some who probably don't even know the Name of Yah'shua (Jesus) may well be going ahead of them into heaven, since they knew no law, yet lived their lives as though they did according to their consciences.
